This could be so much more
Why is Willa so stupid? How can someone have grown up in a Mafia/mob family and still expect to run to the police for everything? How does she have no self preservation skills? She's supposed to be so smart, but she has no critical thinking skills. I spent the whole book wishing that some of her recklessness would bite her in the ass, but of course she kept getting rescued.

I read this one way faster than I read book 1... the action is ramped up, the search is getting somewhere... they're opening up to each other more. But as they find things out, there are people out there trying to stop them. Those people are getting closer and closer. I am rooting for the quad and want more! On to the final book!

It was very anticlimactic what Willa remembered about the “traumatic experience” in her childhood as the memory didn’t seem as traumatic as it was built up to be. A bit of a story letdown. I also have to say I was frustrated that the author often didn’t have Willa follow up with more questions during conversations or disagreements with the guys. She often let the conversation drop without getting a full explanation. Most people would not act that way.

Second book in and almost 1000 pages read and we still don’t have any more clues or answers involving what happened to Emma. But that ending?!? Holy moly that was a cliffhanger! I know all her guys are going to be ok, but still- damn.
I was so excited to finally see things getting spicy between Neo and Willa! It was about time. Rock and Oscar were absolutely the best and sweetest. I love that each of these guys are all so different and bring totally different personalities to the story, but the one thing they all have in common is their love and protectiveness for Willa. And while I love Willa, there were moments she got irritating. She was born and raised in the mafia, so for her to constantly say about going to the police, it was stupid. And in the end when her and the guys were hiding out on the island, no one was supposed to know where they were and yet when she was talking to her mom she may not have told her mom exactly where they were but she gave every detail away. It was no wonder they were all attacked in the end.
One more book to go and I can’t wait to see what happens and to finally get some answers!

So much to enjoy
What a stellar second installment! There is just so much to rave about. First: cooking is my love language, so is it any wonder that I was absolutely enamored with Rock this entire book? He’s just so darn endearing and sweet and… yeah.
Then, there was learning Neo’s backstory and his history with Willa, the root of his infatuation / torture. Ugh! I thought their first tease of an encounter in the shower was hot, but then I read their 2nd one and wanted to read it again.
The best though? Willa’s Birthday … Bash. Yeah, we’ll call it a “Birthday Bash.” Holy cow. Another cliffhanger ending but I can’t be mad because it was so good.

kept me wanting more
Book two was definitely worth the wait. You get to see Willa’s relationship with the Kings strengthen and grow. They’re still on the hunt to find out what happened to Willa’s sister and the rest of the girls so don’t think that they’ve gotten sidetracked from that mission. Book two will leave you wanting to read book three asap as we need to find out what happens next. Great continuation of book one, the story flows well and just hooks you in.

Kings & Chaos is the 2nd book in the 3 book Series. What can I say. If you want a book that’s a page turner and you have to know what happens next…This is your book. Will Willa ever find out what happen to her sister? Who can Willa really trust? If you like ,adventure,hot,sexy scenes & so much more READ THIS BOOK. Can’t wait for the 3rd book to see what will happen. This book is a Cliffhanger.

Okay so I’m going to say that this book gets three stars for the consent that is sought throughout the book series it is nice to see that someone cared about consent. I will say though that a lot of this could have been cut out and made for a shorter book. Right anyway on to the review.
The Story:
The plot is very slow to have any kind of movement. We spend most of the first book not making much progress in the “find Emma” plot. Then most of the second is like now we have to find who is pulling the strings to find Emma. But like they spend most of the books either going to school, playing the “game”, or fucking or thinking about it. So right now wr are like okay so they know who did it and? So I was a little let down with how little the plot moved in nearly 1000 pages between the first two novels. I admit I got board a few times. Also the internal monologue in all thes heads is confusing as hell. They are still hiding stuff from Willa and us the readers and I am a bit frustrated about it now. I get all three of them were in love with her for forever but why? She stood up to Neos dad one time? Wut? Why? I just need more then that. Also why put SA in this book, only to have her be fine right after. Dear Sadie a girl never nearly get raped and is totally cool afterwards. PTSD is real and it can affect you the rest of your life. I feel like she just put it in there to have a reason for the guys to come save her. But why she did that I don’t know because the guys save her a lot elsewhere so??? Was it the shock value? It was really out of place.
Characters:
Willa: I swear there is nothing that won’t turn this woman on. Burgers, cheesecake, doughnuts, the hot tub, classes at school, bring in the woods, cameras, projector rooms. You name it it’s all there. She seemed to have very little defining character other than she’s hot and bothered by everything, puts herself in danger for stupid reasons and trying not to like the guys. She’s fairly one dimensional. Also can we discuss how many times Willa refers to her pussy as doing various things? She says her pussy is clawing, throbbing, sitting up and taking notice and more but those three are the ones I remember. The clawing one got me because I feel like if my vagina is clawing for something I need to have a discussion with the demon who inhabits my body about pain to me and other people because damn I feel like that would hurt like hell. I will give her the throbbing one sorta the clit can throb but I’ve never had my whole vagina throb. Anyway Willa also talks about her Vagina like it’s a sentient being. Sorta the same way in most novels the guys talk about their penis. Was this just as weird? Yes.
The guys: as usual I thought the male characters had a little more depth to them. Not much but some. They weren’t always thinking with their ducks. Well sometimes but it wasn’t as over the top as I was expecting. I will say the fact that all of them got consent was nice to see. I will also add Willa asking Neo for consent was nice to see. It goes both ways so I liked that aspect. The guys all have their thing. Neo was a fighter, Drago had his films and cameras, and Rock liked to cook. So it was nice to see they had some sort of personality going. So I wasn’t as disappointed as I was thinking I would be.
Random thoughts:
I feel like Willa is probably going to end up pregnant at the end of the third book. Either that or at the beginning of the third we will find out she was carrying Neos baby but she lost it in the accident. We’ll see.Also can we discuss what sort of person, especially someone in that kind of world wouldn’t be on birth control? Like wth! Willa had also been gone a year to travel the world and she wasn’t on the pill an IUD or something?! Anything?! Like how irresponsible is she? Either that or she’s just dumb I can’t decide which. All in all the books were okay I will probably read the last one just to check if my prediction is correct but maybe not.

Okay so this book shook me! After everything that has happened Neo and Willa are finally heading in the right direction and BAM that cliffhanger. Honestly i started to suspected Roberto being involved when she saw the picture in the deans office. After the memory that she recovered of her childhood I was convinced. I’m wondering if her dad even went to the feds? Did Roberto just kill him and make up the rumor just like he did about his first wife? It wasn’t a coincidence that the killers broke in after she found the binders in the deans house. The time on the island was cute and I knew something bad was coming. She had proof that Roberto was involved and they were ready to wage war, only it seems like they are loosing. All of them are in the hospital after assassination attempts and it seems like all of them are in bad shape! I can’t handle this. Also what happened to the missing girls? Are they sold, killed, what and for what purpose? I need the answers!

Better than the last one, but I still don’t know why I read it. The writing is average, the characters still annoying, but tolerable.
Unlike the first book, the heroine doesn’t spend all her time talking about how she’s a feminist, denying she’s turned on, only to have constantly wet panties. In this book she just admits it.
The spicy scenes are definitely more plentiful in this book, and well written. If you wanna skim the rest of it, enough to care about the characters, then skip to the smut, go at it.

What a wild ride
Holy hell this book 😘
This book was so good. I loved the character development between Neo and Willa. Rock an Oscar are such good characters as well I loved how they basically are always there for Willa and to tell Neo to get his head out of his ass.
Oscar is the fierce protector type that will do anything for those he loves and Willa is included in that category as well as Rock and Neo. They’ve all loved Willa since they were kids even though she’s always thought she was a nobody to them all.
Neo is the one who thinks if he confesses his feelings for Willa then something horrible will happen to her because he thinks if he shows love to people bad things happen to them. His dad’s an ass who made him believe his mom didn’t love him so she left.
Rock is so adorable it’s to cute. He’s basically a chef always cooks the food and definitely doesn’t like when anyone else cooks or touches his stuff in the kitchen. He is so in love he doesn’t know how to tell her though.
All the revelations in this book is mind blowing I love the lead up to it all. The action in this book is great you get the mystery as well as the fact that something’s that happen when it’s revealed as to who it was it’s like you never would’ve thought that person.

Oscar and Rock are as obsessed as ever and continue to comfort her especially when some stuff goes down and the danger she faces grows more serious. Her consistent investigation into her sisters disappearance and asking about her to get more information puts every one at risk. I did get frustrated when they continued to keep crucial information from her because maybe she wouldn’t have done all the stupid ish she did.
THE CLIFF-HANGER was rough 😱 and I ran to the next book!!!!!

Sadie whyyyyyy! Why do you have to end like that? Nooooo!!! This book answered so many questions from book one that I needed figured out. And then left me with a ton of new questions more that I need answers to as soon as possible. My heart is in my stomach. I was taken on a rollercoaster ride in this book. Right when you think you have everything figured out, nope, you are thrown a curve ball!
Neo you are my shining star this book. You came around and boy were you sexy and fun!! I could not get enough of you in this story. Rock and Oscar are absolute perfection. The Christmas scene in this book was my favorite. Their connection with Willa is beautiful and protective and hot as all heck.
I love how Willa doesn’t stop fighting. She wants redemption she wants the pain of losing her sister to go away. And these three boys are determined to protect her and get her the justice she wants. This story was hot, it was awesomely written, I was legit on the edge of my seat the entire book. Then that ending, I didn’t see that coming. My heart is shattered. My mouth is on the floor. And book three can’t come soon enough. I love these characters soooo much. I am excited and nervous to see where the story will go.

What an angsty, spellbinding, suspenseful and utterly spicy read. I was hooked from the first page, experiencing a myriad of emotions right to the last page. Wills has discovered that there’s unbelievable treachery in her world and she was completely oblivious! Her relationship with the Kings has run the gamut from, cautious, to suspicious, downright angry and hot and steamy beyond description. Her three Kings have some deep scars and everything they do is strategic because it’s a fight for survival! This book took me on an adventure and it had me spellbound that when I got to the last page I had to read it again, immediately!! Can’t say I’ve ever done that before but I needed more!! August just can’t come soon enough because there’s still so much that’s yet to be revealed. I had a love/hate relationship for Neo but I’m in love with him now. I’m still secretly hoping that Emma is alive somewhere. Sadie Hunt, what a masterful page turner! Do you think we can get an early release for book 3? Asking for a friend 😁

Coming straight off of book 1, I can say that this second installment made me happy I kept reading. Book 2 had more substance than book 1 in that we got to see character development for our MMCs, with more chapters from their points of view. We especially get more depth for Neo (one of our MMCs), and his relationship with Willa (our FMC) is finally headed in a positive direction. We finally started to get somewhere with unanswered questions from book 1, and because our group is getting close to uncovering the truth, they are getting attempts made on their lives. After a significant attempt at their home, the group heads to an island and gets a reprieve, but that only lasts so long and we are left on a cliffhanger not knowing if any of our MMCs are okay.
Similarly to book 1, the plot moved relatively fast, there is adventure and danger, and the mystery/intrigue is still present; so this was a quick read. Now, on to book 3 to see how all of this plays out and *hopefully* get all of our questions answered!

Coming straight off of book 1, I can say that this second installment made me happy I kept reading. Book 2 had more substance than book 1 in that we got to see character development for our MMCs, with more chapters from their points of view. We especially get more depth for Neo (one of our MMCs), and his relationship with Willa (our FMC) is finally headed in a positive direction. We finally started to get somewhere with unanswered questions from book 1, and because our group is getting close to uncovering the truth, they are getting attempts made on their lives. After a significant attempt at their home, the group heads to an island and gets a reprieve, but that only lasts so long and we are left on a cliffhanger not knowing if any of our MMCs are okay.

This is a three book series that follows FMC Willa and three MMC, her new Step brother Neo and his two best friends Rock and Oscar. They all have had a connection since childhood and come from a Mafia family. After a year abroad Willa returns and enrolls in the Aventine University to find out what happened to her sister. This book has a great plot and is a RH which is so spicy. It would easily be a five star read, but I took one star off for the typos and grammar errors. Those can be easily over looked and I find them often with indie ebooks. So, if you don’t mind a few typos, then this is such a good series. There are two other series Interlocked into the same world, I plan to read those this month as well. I look forward to more from Sadie Hunt!! All three books I read on my Kindle and are available in Kindle Unlimited.

Love love love
Wow!! What an unexpected find. I have never read this author before, and I'm already hooked. This series was fabulous, written really well that the story flows and the characters were addictive especially the guys.
I'm in love with Neo (move over hubby 😍) he loves her but pushes her away at the same time craving her, whilst his friends get what they have dreamed of.
I can't wait till book 3. If you want a great leading girl, hot guys who actually are manly and don't fool around with each other, only the women they want, then this book is it!!! I hate RH that end up with one guy wanting the other not my thing and so far so good in all the best ways. She is one lucky lady.

Sitting on the edge of my seat
The entire time reading THIS! I couldn't put the first book down till I started on the 2nd. I was really trying not to read it so fast or close together after the first book since the 3rd book is still a ways off from being available.. I failed.. Miserably so. It took me five hours to read and I'm nail biting at the cliff hanger. I normally don't do spoilers but I have questions. So many.. Why do I get the feeling Willa"s mother was trying to find out where they were in order to share that info? Only her mother knew where they would be heading when the accident happened.. I'll be impatiently waiting for the 3rd release. I need more from this author.

I need to get out of the choke hold that this book has me in.
These boys are so quickly worming their way into my heart and I'm fine with them being hot pieces of meat that I can objectify through her eyes but they are making me truly believe that they care for her - that they could love her.

The ending on this book threw me.
If I like read this as it was being published and I had to finish that book without knowing when they next one was coming out - I would have been on the streets RIOTING.

I couldn’t get enough of this book!!
Book 1 was such a great read! Book 2? Amazing!!!
You’ll love Rock and Oscar even more! Sadie did a great job at showing us their softer sides even more and how their friendship/brotherhood (Neo too) works! Speaking of Neo….that grizzly/teddy bear is a complete dream! I love him more and if I had to choose it’d be Neo for Willa hands down!
Willa is Willa although she’s more likable in this book! She’s less secretive (not much though if I’m honest) and definitely less judgey. You get to see her inner struggles with her feelings for each character and it helps to connect the reader with her character.

I am enjoying this story quite a bit, but there does seem to be some issues with it, still.
I'm happy, at least, that this one didn't have nearly as many instances of her believing they could be responsible for her sister, yet being so horny that she has to sleep with them. That was just so not believable for me.
I do like slower developed relationships and emotions between characters (as opposed to insta-love), and this one has been building things between them. However, at the same time, the story itself got a little slow (especially on the island). It was great at the start, but seemed to slow down, and then BAM! that cliffhanger.
I am going to continue to the next book to finish the story. How can I not, at this point?

Story great but text lingo not ok
This book had great story line, characters I really enjoy, and smut galore. However, it got dropped by two stars for me because the author wrote text lingo into the book. AF, GTFO, etc made me cringe at first and then just started pissing me off. In a text, it can be acceptable but this is a whole book that doesn't have character limits and your writing is under scrutiny. This happened in the first book but rarely enough that I honestly thought it was an accident. It was so often in this one that I almost DNFd. I'm desperately hoping it's not as bad in the 3rd book, but if it continues it will affect the rating I give the books in the end.

This series has me hooked, and is certainly one of those series that gets better with each installment! I really love the character development in this one, and I especially am so happy for more Neo POV. He is such a complex character and watching his struggles and emotions unfold is a wonderful tale. Willa is a lot more mature in this book compared to the last, but that is expected considering everything these four have gone through up to this point. Oh man! That cliffhanger! The SPICE.🥵I really cannot wait to delve into the next book!

and he looked mad good drove me crazy.
I was happy that the slow burn between Neo and Willa finally ended and he “gave in”.
