“The Queen of the Heist,” Valentina Cash, reigns supreme as the mastermind behind a small but lucrative theft hustle. Living the high life in her lavish suburban mansion, she throws a party to showcase her rising empire.
The next morning, hungover and ill, she stumbles upon a mysterious cell phone hidden in her bathroom. It holds a series of cryptic text messages that seem to be directed towards Valentina.
What's even more concerning is that there is no trace of the phone's owner.
Being a fan of the dark and edgy crime podcast “An Ugly Girl's Diary,” Valentina fears that her past misdeeds have finally caught up like they did with Tye Gates, who found a diary that was a foreshadowing of his world crashing down.
Determined to get to the bottom of it first, she dives into the dangerous underworld of deceit and betrayal, only to uncover a web of lies that threatens to tear down her empire and expose another deadly secret.
With heart-pumping action, and nail-biting suspense, “An Ugly Girl's Diary 2” is a must-read for fans and will leave you breathless until the very last page.

Another intriguing story that has you trying to figure out who is responsible for these secret messages that the main character keeps getting and who wants to ruin her life so bad
This book was not able to invoke the same page turning interest as the first book in this series. Valentina was such a nasty, wicked, evil bitch that it was hard to stay invested. The usage of the adjective “soft” made it easy to make the connection when the word “doll” was use. Brian/Larry was the subplot twist that was unpredictable. Karma is a bitch but twists just to twist is twisted. The ending was just so unsatisfying. The history was real so the justice was too extreme. You get whiplash from the ending's moving pieces and plot choices. The audience does get an opportunity to celebrate the glorious changes before the rug is pulled. The importance of allowing the story to breathe is missing. Book 1 is fire while book 2 is a poof. I hope book 3 is an inferno.
I would say I like the idea of the book but it wasn’t what I was expecting, it did not get good until the last 20 pages and that’s saying a lot. It was really all over the place and the connection to the first book was not there until the end. I think my expectations on a sequel would be the book about the previous characters , a tad dissatisfied.
For this to be part 2, I am heated that this has nothing to do with book 1 outside of mentioning Tye and the diary from book 1. 😠 I forced myself to read up to 32% and started skipping paragraphs to find something to "grab" me, as quick as a sentence may have, I was left again searching for enough to keep me. I gave up! Good luck with this one.
As an avid T. Styles reader and supporter, I already know that whatever the story is about, it’s gonna be entertaining. Always. This book was entertaining and held my attention for the most part, but I really didn’t enjoy the story. It seemed kind of haphazardly thrown together… to me. Also, I definitely don’t think this should have been a sequel because this novel and the one preceding it had very, very little in common. This should’ve just been another standalone, in my opinion. I think the title is very misleading in a bait and switch kind of way. If there’s a third part I probably won’t be reading that one.
This book was really not a sequel but just a part of a series of different stories from what is a podcast about getting revenge. So I enjoyed this book even though this particular character was just plain vindictive and had no recourse for her actions. However, I do like how T. Styles was able to weave in how “reaping what you sow” or “karma” is a real thing and that your actions will have consequences! Just like all other T. Styles books I enjoyed this read. I rated it one less star than normal because it wasn’t as plot twisting as her usual reads. After reading the ending of this book can’t wait to see what happens to the podcaster in the 3rd book.
I enjoyed book one more than this one but it was still a good read. It showed just how bad some people live for the spotlight and approval of others and also how some people live for revenge. Valentina had an evil side so some of the things that happened to her she deserved like Pumpkin and Shug jumping her. I feel bad for Nevin and RoRo, as soon as they were able to be happy it was cut short. And well the ending I can’t say I didn’t see something like that coming. But you will have to read it yourself to find out. On to Book 3.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of mystery and intrigue, and believe me you won’t figure out ‘whodunnit’ until the end. Go into the book with an open mind and whoosh! inhaled in one sitting!
Please note: this book is MA for real. No, don’t let the young ones read it. And for the old ones, if raunchiness offends you, then this will offend you. Otherwise, ENJOY!!!!
Loved it. At first she was making me sick with her uppity and judgemental attitude and then when the phone came in I wanted her to get it, but she changed for her brother. I didn't see where there was the words, ,'the end', so I'm hoping there will be a part 2. Loved it!!!
This and the first "An ugly girl s diary" wasn't good enough to keep me invested, to continue to read more. I was looking for more within the stories, it did not hold my attention or interest enough. Don't believe I will be reading the next one, if there is another
I had high hopes for this one. I was pleasantly surprised after reading the first. It was disjointed and not cohesive. IRL people wouldn't keep being in Valentina's company with her attitude being what it was. Much less coming back to help her. The ending saved it a little? The third will continue with the first cast of characters. So there may be some redemption.
I really am not a fan of this second book.. I don't know, it was just so.. uninteresting. Like, ok, Valentina was a bitch.. This one just wasn't as much of a page turner as the first one. I thought it would've been a part two, like an actual continuation of the first story with Tye and him getting out of prison. But I think the third book is, which came out today actually. So let's see..
This was a quick read and a lesson learned. Revenge comes with a price called karma which that day will always come. I hope their will be a part three.
I’m so proud of Valentina’s growth even though it came at a cost . Hurt people hurt people . I’m glad Jacob had her when it counted . She lost and gained a lot . I hope you give a update on her during Courtney’s story .
I hope we get to see some sort of redemption for Tye and his baby momma. They were both young and made mistakes and sometimes it just best to walk away and let God fight yiur battles although that’s a learned behavior it’s the best solution
