With his alliances set and his home secure, Jak has truly begun his war against the Tolvar.
Likely not the greatest threat on the island he is trying to bring peace to, they still represent a significant problem and must be dealt with if harmony is ever to be achieved.
But as he and his fellow warriors begin laying waste to Tolvar warparties and launching their campaign of primeval warfare, all is not as it seems. Jak is convinced he's missing something, something crucial, and in the midst of all this primitive bloodshed, mysteries are about to be solved, and new problems will unfold...
RAW contains tribe building, savage violence, and primeval babes.
I am Misty Vixen (not my real name obviously), and I imagine that if you’re reading this, you want to know a bit more about me.
In the beginning (late 2014), I was an erotica author. I wrote about sex, specifically about human men banging hot inhuman women. Monster girls, alien ladies, paranormal babes. It was a lot of fun, but as the years went on, I realized that I was actually striving to be a harem author. This didn’t truly occur to me until late 2019-early 2020. Once the realization fully hit, I began doing research on what it meant to be a harem author. I’m kind of a slow learner, so it’s taken me a bit to figure it all out.
That being said, I’m now a harem author!
Just about everything I write nowadays is harem fiction: one man in loving, romantic, highly sexual relationships with several women. Nowadays, I tend to write more human on human stuff, but I still have a lot of non-human ladies in mind for the future, so if that’s your thing then stick around.
I’d say beyond writing harems, I tend to have themes that I always explore in my fiction, and they encompass things like trust, communication, respect, honesty, dealing with emotional problems in a mature way…basically I like writing about functional and healthy relationships. Not every relationship is perfect, but I don’t really do drama unless the story actually calls for it. In total honesty, I hate drama. I hate people lying to each other and I hate needless rom-com BS plots that could have been solved by two characters having a two minute conversation.

“Raw V” continues the adventures of Jak and his bondmates as they work to build a lasting peace on the island. This time, Jak realizes that, with his desire for bloodlust warring with his desire for peace, he himself may be the greatest longterm threat to peace.
Naturally, there are plenty of foils for his love of fighting and killing; some old and some(thing) new. The mysterious crow and the blue lady are revealed for who and what they are.
I’m too young to have lived through the Saturday matinee serial adventures at the air-cooled theaters way back when, but this series feels something like what those adventures may have been like (well, if blood and sex were allowed on the screen!): relatively frequent episodes, each focusing on an adventure or two, and ending with a hint of “and coming up next, on Raw!!”).
I continue to enjoy the series, and look forward to the next episode. Raw V is a V-star (heh heh) adventure with Katana Jones continuing to do a fantastic job with her performance.
The story keeps moving and making sense. Some questions from earlier are answered and a medium source of conflict is resolved. The characters you liked from earlier books remain present and the MC continues to grow emotionally along with the people who are important to him. It was over too fast, but mostly because the writing forces your attention. I’m a Patreon sub but I wait for the book before I read it. I don’t know if I can keep holding out for the next one

As with all of your works there is empathy, passion and self reflection and awareness. I have read all of your available works and each has its unique qualities and once in awhile it’s own detractions. All in all will continue to follow your work. I hope you hold to earlier indications of finishing this series soon as it is highly anticipated.
Jak meets two females he's encountered before -- Zora, the smart, aquatic valt with a tail, and Keeza, the embyr. Jak also meets the mysterious blue woman. A major event in Jak's desire to end the racial wars plaguing the large island he calls home. Enjoyed.
Jak is trying to unite the island, bring peace to do that he faces several challenges the mysterious blue woman, and himself. Learning to accept help to succeed in the other challenges. Looking forward to book 6
Graded on the curve, this rates its 5. It moves the story along and develops the characters, while introducing some new ones. A good read with a decent MC; as long as they stay this good I'll keep reading them.
Hard to pick apart Misty's writing. So intense and intriguing that it will suck you in and leave you breathlessly anticipating the next book! Thank you so much Misty! Best read ever!
If you’re reading a review for the 5th book in this series you probably already know that you’re going to get: a solid plot, well written thoughtful characters, interesting new relationships, and a desire to already have the next book in the series in your hands.
What is the best thing about harem novels, of course the new additions to the harem! This book is fresh and fast paced and doesn't get slowed by too much domestication. And in the end several long term goals are achieved. Enjoy!
Wow!!! What an adventurous and action packed addition to this series. New characters and steps forward were revealed, along with an intense ending! I look forward to the next title in this series.
This installment really helped to clarify some of the mysteries behind the series. It was very interesting and flowed very nicely as the mysterious blue woman was finally addressed. The book had one of the more intense endings of the so far. I immediately continued onto the next book the same day.
A good read of strength, sex, leadership, and mystery unsolved.
The hero ideas of an unified island was had several good directions and allowed for future introductions. I like the building up of allies from enemies. A good fight at the ends is always a good way to start a new chapter.
