I do love a story where the characters grow. This isn't perfect - the smut is at kind of ridiculous levels - but I'm enjoying the character development.
Now to find a store in Italy that will ship me the final volume. I know, it's on the Manta app, but my bookshelf needs all four volumes.

2/5 🌶️I devoured this volume, I forgot how adorable these two are together and I can't wait to see what comes from that cliffhanger. I loved how Eunkyum started to speak up for himself at work too (baby steps).

Man I don't know what to think about this series.
I spent the first half of the volume confused and exasperated as I read sex scene after sex scene and questioned if I somehow missed something in the second volume that would explain where they're at now. Like, seriously, I feel like I need to go back and reread the first two volumes, 'cause I don't understand how they got together so quick based on where we left things off. It almost feels like Danbi wanted them to get together so they just... made it happen, by skipping over the parts where they (specifically Eunkyum) falls in love with each other. I am totally fine with stories being just vessels for sex scenes, which this kind of feels like sometimes, but if you're going to also sell me on a relationship that isn't just based on sex, I want to see that relationship built up in a compelling way that makes me feels like, and understand why, they actually like each other.
... But I enjoyed the second part of this volume a lot. I really like the overarching plot that's going on; I like Eunkyum being harassed at work and taunted by an ex and at his wits end and stressed out. I know I said on my last review that the top three things I wanted to see in the next volume were Eunkyum getting to take a nap, Eunkyum Getting A Fucking Break From It All, and Eunkyum getting his boundaries respected, and even though those are things I want (please someone give him at least the nap, and the boundaries have improved a lot), I am also really captivated by him NOT getting a break from it all. His life his hard and he's stressed and constantly seems to be at his breaking point of an emotional collapse and it's my favorite part of the series! I want to see him pushed to his breaking point and learn to stand up for himself and also rely more on others and, most importantly, learn that life DOESN'T have to be as hard as it's been for him. I really want him to know that it can get better.
So even though the establishment of the relationship was rough to me, I like the relationship now that they're together and find Eunkyum's whole background and situation interesting enough to keep reading.

Eunkyum and Jihyuk just keep getting cuter. Their relationship is starting to take off but then a business trip interrupts them. Eunkyum patiently waits for a call or text and nothing comes. Meanwhile Jihyuk has a phone tragedy one right after the other that leads to misunderstandings on Eunkyum’s part. It’s leads up to some alone time 😏, a date and couples watches! We get a creep bothering Eunkyum and the some more alone time 😏. Eunkyum shows that although he’s somewhat unsure or uncomfortable about certain situations he’s also not gonna take anything sitting down especially at work. He’s only a pushover for Jihyuk. 🥰

Un secret crush to work enemies to lovers amb una dinàmica de parella lletgíssima que li resta molts punts. Tot i que la trama té anades i vingudes força trepidants, em costa encaixar l'estranya dinàmica de poder entre els protagonistes, que són treballador i supervisor, així com els canvis d'humor tan bruscos i tòxics del seme. En els moments bons és una història addictiva, sexy i fins i tot entranyable, però patina massa sovint. Gens prioritària perquè la publiquin a Espanya, la veritat, no cal que copiem els italians. Una llàstima :(

With the relationship between Jihyuk and Eunkyum being so fierce, has this love story feeling absurd at times. But, what a way for him Jihyuk to start encircling his world to start taking care of Eunkyum. He just shows his love a little strong sometimes. But, I like the idea of him knowing that maybe down the line he wants to have a life with Eunkyum.

Sigue siento mucho smut, la verdad pensé q se iba a centrar más en la trama pero igual yo si suelo leer muchos de estos manhwas así no me estoy quejando de eso solo pensé q iba a ser más interesante la historia.

Per ora il mio preferito resta sempre il primo volume, ma l’evoluzione del rapporto tra Lee e Han in questo mi sta convincendo. Ora sono davvero curiosa di scoprire come tutto andrà a finire.

Lee Eungyeom lavora come impiegato in un’azienda ma ha un problema. Si innamora sempre della persona sbagliata! L’ultimo era un uomo sposato e con figli che gli pure rubato soldi! Quindi quando vede un bel ragazzo in metro decide che non è il caso di lanciarsi in una nuova avventura amorosa. Purtroppo quel ragazzo è Han Jihyeok, il nuovo giovane e affascinante capo del suo ufficio. Un uomo esigente sopratutto nei confronti di Eungyeom che si sente sotto pressione. Il ragazzo su cui fantasticava lavora con lui ogni giorno e per di più abita vicino a casa sua, dove stanno i suoi fratelli minori e sua nonna. La situazione si complita durante una serata a bere con i colleghi. Colpa un bicchiere di troppo, Eungyeom va a letto con Jihyeok. Inutile nascondere i sentimenti che prova per il suo capo ma sarà ricambiato? E Jihyeok come reagirà a questi sentimenti?
L’inizio di No Love Zone è allegro e frizzante, un po’ frivolo come il suo protagonista che si basa sull’aspetto fisico per innamorarsi dell’uomo sbagliato. Pensa che con Jihyeok potrebbe essere diverso ma non sarà così. I due si sono già conosciuti e il suo nuovo capo non ha dimenticato quanto per il ragazzo conti solo l’apparenza… Inoltre avere una relazione con il suo superiore è problematico, sopratutto se questo capo è esigente e ligio al dovere. In realtà, capirà che lo fa per il suo bene, per spingerlo a dedicarsi a qualcosa, ad essere più motivato nel lavoro e non solo.
Tra la fine del primo volume e l’inizio del secondo, complice anche la loro notte di fuoco, Eungyom capirà meglio il carattere di Jihyeok. Un uomo serio ma giusto, capace di essere anche protettivo nei suoi confronti, in maniera inaspettata e crea dubbi nei ragazzo. Non comprende i suoi sentimenti, quello che cerca da lui. La chimica tra loro però è palpabile e man mano si avvicinano l’uno all’altro.
Nel corso della storia, No Love Zone aumenta i momenti più sessuali, la loro vicinanza e il loro amarsi, volersi proteggere e sostenere. Cosa che diventerà evidente nel terzo e sopratutto nel quarto e ultimo volume. Jihyeok deve andare in viaggio di lavoro e la lontananza renderà chiaro a Eungyom quello che prova e che la loro relazione sia importante per lui e per la sua famiglia che adora Jihyeok – in particolare i suoi adorabili fratellini. Quando poi ritornerà l’ex di Eungyom e lo ricatterà, il ragazzo si renderà conto di far parte di una coppia e di dover condividere anche le difficoltà.
La storia di No Love Zone è classica, tipica di molti altri titoli BL. La trama non è nuova, presenta anche diversi clichè, ma nonostante tutto riesce ad emozionare. I due protagonisti riescono a crescere singolarmente e come coppia. Eungyom smette di essere frivolo e ad aprirsi ad una relazione seria e alla pari, con un fidanzato fiero di mostrare alla sua famiglia. Jihyeok dimostrerà di non essere freddo e rigido, ma anche dolce e passionale. Sono una coppia molto bella, che mischia molta tenerezza a momenti sexy e forti. La loro chimica è innanzitutto sessuale ma dimostreranno tanto amore l’uno per l’altro. Inoltre menzione d’onore per i due fratellini, Eunho e Eunha, che contribuiscono con la loro ingenuità a unirli e vivere una quotidianità come una famiglia.
La dolcezza di questa coppia è ben presente anche nelle storie extra che chiudono ogni volume. Brevi, dolci e carine, in particolare quella del secondo volume sono alla base del volume di storie extra già annunciato da Planet Manga. Perchè nonostante clichè e momenti già visti, in No Love Zone si avverte l’emozione e i sentimenti di questa storia a suo modo avvincente. Tiene incollati dalla prima all’ultima pagina e non si può fare a meno di questa coppia. L’edizione di Planet Manga nella sua sempliciità è molto bella, un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo che è un piacere da avere in libreria e prendere e rileggere più e più volte per emozionarci ancora con Eungyeom e Jihyeok.
