Angela K. Ryan is the author of the Sapphire Beach Cozy Mystery Series, the Seaside Ice Cream Shop Mysteries, and the Cape Cod Cozy Mysteries. She writes clean, feel-good cozies for readers who love humor, lots of twists and turns, and happy-dance endings.

When she is not writing, Angela enjoys the outdoors, especially kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snowshoeing, and skiing. She lives in Massachusetts and loves all four of the New England seasons, but she looks forward to regular escapes to the white, sandy beaches of southwest Florida, where her mother resides.

It is fitting that Angela’s series take place in fictitious seaside towns in Massachusetts and Florida. These small towns would be idyllic if it weren’t for all the bodies that keep turning up!

Angela dreams of one day owning a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel like the sweet pup in her Sapphire Beach Series, but she isn’t home enough to take care of one. So, for now, lives vicariously through one of her main characters, Connie.

Loved the different mysteries!🤗

We are back in Seagull Cove and Anna and her ice cream shop is buzy hosting a tropical beach-themed party even though it is February.

This time we get to be involved in not one, not two but three mysteries. One - the ongoing subplot with Bella, Anna’s sister. Two - solving the murder of a high school teacher that had been a guest at Anna’s party. And three - we are introduced to Heather, who has lost all memory of who she is but proves to be a valuable sidekick sleuth.

It is not an easy task for Anna, and her loyal friends, to try to solve the murder (with so many suspects due to the victim not being wery well liked in the community) while also trying to find new clues that will help with Bella’s case and on top of that try to be a good, supporting friend and help Heather at her most vulnerable.

This book had lots of twists and turns and it was actually quite the surprise when the culprit was revealed. Enjoy!

A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.

A teacher at the local high school is murdered and Anna has a sidekick this time to help solve the murder. There are at least 6 suspects who could have done it but maybe there are others as well.

Clues are uncovered and the girls narrow the possibilities down as the case gets closer to being solved.

This is a cozy murder mystery which presents clues as to why these 6 suspects could have done it but did they? You need to read this story to find out! There is a ongoing case as well involving Anna’s sister who is in hiding because of what she saw and
Anna and her friends believe they now know who did the deed Bella saw but the question remains where are they and how will they recognize them. This on going case will add a few more clues in the next book along with a new murder to solve.

I recommend this book as one fans of cozy mysteries will enjoy.

This cozy mystery drew me in right away. It was an entertaining story. Anna Mc Bride throws a beach party in February at her ice cream shop in Seagull Cove, Massachusetts. One of the people who attended the party, high school History teacher, Beverly Nordstrom, is murdered shortly after she leaves the party. Beverly 's body is found on the street, and she has been stabbed to death. It turns out that Beverly had lots of enemies at the high school. Anna, an amateur sleuth, looks into the murder and gets help from a new friend, Heather, a mysterious woman suffering from amnesia after a bad car wreck in which she was involved. Who killed Beverly and why? Find out by reading this unputdownable book. I highly recommend it to other cozy mystery readers. I received an ARC of this book, and the opinion expressed is strictly my own.

I really enjoyed this double mystery story. First there is Anna's tropical celebration in February at Bella's Dream Ice Cream shop. A murder takes place after the party is over. Anna gets involved as she starts asking questions and learning about the background of those with links to the victim. During the party a former colleague of Anna's introduced her to Heather who has amnesia after being in a car accident. Anna takes Heather under her wing while gathering information about the murder. To add more complexity to the story, Joe and Jeremy are helping Anna track her twin sister's foes as Bella witnessed them dumping a body. Not all of the mysteries are solved in this story so I'm looking forward to finding out what's next.

Looking for a fun night, Anna and Bella are at the fun ice cream social featuring Mango Ice Cream! But soon enough, we have a murder with a lot of subtext to another. We are grabbed from the beginning and through so many twists and turn you are led to a surprise ending. Once you begin you just can't put the book down for want of seeing what is going to happen. The main characters are great and relatable and the flow is smooth and the author gives a very good visible picture as you read. I can't wait to see what Anna and Bella get into next. I received and ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

This is the first book I've read in this series and by this author, so I can confidently say it can be read as a stand alone. There are relationships that would be better understood if they're read in order, which is what I'm going to go back and do now.

This is a smartly written cozy mystery that has fabulous characters, a fun setting, and kept me guessing. The story is more than the murder at the ice cream shop, and I loved that extra depth. It's a clean read, with a fast moving plot, and I was able to finish it in a day since I didn't want to put it down. I'm really excited to go back and start the series from the beginning.

Mango Murder is an entertaining who-dun-it. There are so many suspects and Anna and Heather keep trying to shorten the suspect list by doggedly speaking with all those who knew the victim, Beverly Nordstrom. She was not a well-liked woman, who seemed to make many more enemies than friends. But does that mean she should be murdered? While trying to solve this mystery, there is also the mystery of who Heather is. Heather was in a recent accident and has lost all of her memories. Add one more layer of mystery to that with the search for who is after Anna's sister Bella. A book chock full of suspense and twists that will keep you on your toes until the very end.

Hanging Tagline
Anna hopes to provide a healthier option for the customers at her ice cream shop, especially for Joe Wiggins, who comes in every day for his two scoops. So, she expands the menu by offering frozen pudding.
Unfortunately, Anna’s decision turns out to be anything but healthy for Earl, the delivery truck driver for Finnegan’s Creamery. When Anna finds Earl dead in the truck, she sets out to find his killer
This book has a problem with a hanging tagline. It's not a matter of this issue but it's just a bit too much. I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book.

Anna, the owner of Bella’s Dream ice cream shop, is right in the middle of several mysteries. She has discovered her sister Bella is in hiding because she witnessed a man dumping a dead body, a teacher at the local high school is murdered after an event at Bella’s Dream, and Anna’s friend MaryBeth introduces her to a woman who has lost her memory after a motor vehicle accident in which the driver, a convict, died. Whew! Hang on to your winter boots as the teacher’s murder is solved and other books are introduced.

Anna meets Heather who has amnesia after a car accident and she had been in the car with John seewald. There is a murder near Bella's Dream which was Anna's shop. It was one of the teachers Beverley Nordstrom who had attended her party. Beverley was from Seagull Cove High and she was not liked by the other teachers. Anna with the help of her new friend Heather are determined to find the killer. She also wants to bring her sister home. A very exciting read full of suspense. I received this book free and leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.

Usual murder mystery, with twists. There are so many mysteries with the murder. Who killed Rebecca? Next, who killed Beverle? A new character is introduced. Heather shows up in their lives. The only problem - she has been in a car accident and has lost her memory. There should be a spoiler warning here too. Bella has disappeared and information turns up in this book. I haven't read the earlier books, (other than book 1) so I don't know what happens in them. I will read them and see. Looking forward to the other stories.

This is the first book that I have read in this series and it seemed as if I jumped right into the series. Anna McBride is the prognostic of the book. She owns an ice cream shop called Bella's Dream and is a part time slueth. In this book she investigates the murder of one of the teacher from the high school. With so many suspects it was a twist and turn investigation. Read the book to find out if Anna solves the murder.

Anna owns Bella’s Dream ice cream shop, and although it’s February, decides to host a tropical beach themed ice cream party. Her friend MaryBeth shows up with a woman who has totally lost her memory and is being temporarily called Heather, hoping Anna’s past as a counselor could be of help. But things get derailed when a woman is murdered after the party, and now Anna is in investigative mode. An entertaining mystery which I received a free ARC copy of. I write this review voluntarily.

I have never read anything by Angela K. Ryan before, OMG this was fantastic. Anna owns Bella Dream ice cream shop, after hosting a tropical beach ice cream party; a dead body in found down the street. So who would murder this teacher, who no one seemed to like? So many suspects. There is a subplot from a previous book also going on. Love the plot, great setting, and strong intense interesting characters.

Anna’s ice cream shop, Bella’s Dream, was staging its first ever tropical beach ice cream party in February complete with tropical ice creams and beach themed music. What started as a festive evening turned tragic when a murdered woman was found. Can Anna and her new friend Heather sleuth out whodunnit? Interesting mystery with plenty of suspects that kept me guessing until the culprit was revealed.

Great mystery!

Loved this book! Lots of action and intrigue as Anna, the ice cream shop owner, investigates the murder of an unpopular teacher and befriends a woman with amnesia. I loved the plot and the subplot and can't wait to read the next book in the series to learn more about Anna's sister who disappeared several years ago, but has now reappeared.

I read this book for free as part of an advance reader team and am providing my honest opinion.

Murder Investigations Aren't 100% Action

This novel merges multiple mysteries; including an amnesiac, two murders, and a missing murder witness, into one investigation. Complicated? Unlike the pace of a typical movie, which seems compelled to be action into every 5 minutes of the day, the pace and interaction of the investigators seems relaxed and comfortable. Taking a pause during the day to watch a movie, to go snowshoeing, or just to have a snack is much more realistic. Well done.

Anna is hosting a tropical ice cream party. Beverly Nordstrom is found dead and she wasn’t liked by many people. Anna determines to solve the mystery of her death. At the same time, she is searching for her sister, who has gone into hiding from seeing something suspicious. And, if that wasn’t enough, Anna is helping Heather, who lost her memory in a car accident. Plenty of action and story to keep you intrigued. Enjoy this cozy mystery.

An ice cream beach party, murder and amnesia....
Anna and her new friend, Heather, who suffers from amnesia following a car accident are tasked with solving the murder of an unlikable teacher. Even with amnesia, Heather proves a helpful sidekick in sussing out clues leading to the unmasking of an unlikely murderer. There are many twists and turns, red herrings and ice cream consumed before the mystery is solved..
A quick enjoyable read..

Mango Murder is a complicated, fascinating, cozy mystery. I was immediately pulled into the story and remained there most of the day as I sped through this well plotted mystery. I enjoy the ice cream shop setting and recurring cast of characters. This murder is solved, but there remains the overall series arc of the mystery attached to Anna's sister Bella.

Two murders;one current and one from years ago make this a truly suspenseful read. Added to the suspense is the human interest dealing with a woman with amnesia. I didn't want to put the book down.
