This book was 🤯 to say the very least. There was so much tension, and the stakes were very high as the multiverse was falling apart. Pixel Rot everywhere, whole world's ending, and the bad guys trying to fix everything the wrong way!

I loved all of these characters, even the ones that I didn't think I could trust, but still ended up loving their better sides. That's kind of the whole point, though, isn't it? The ending left me with a full yet empty feeling in my chest because everything ended how it should have ended. What an absolutely crazy ride the multiverse was!

I have to commend the author for her amazing worldbuilding of not just 1 but multiple worlds, including multiple characters with their own personalities, tones, and voices, while still being connected to their Shadows. The dots were absolutely crazy to connect, and I can only imagine the difficulty this series possessed when writing. The overall message was so thought out and grand that I didn't piece it together until the very end. I loved this series and highly recommend this!!

I absolutely love this series. I've never read a sci-fi book that incorporates multiverses and "shadows" of people in such away before. This series is truly mind blowing, the concept and the deliverance is that fantastic.
I couldn't wait to dive back into this series and I was eager to see what would transpire after book 2's ending and boy was I not disappointed. This novel had it all, the adventure, the action, the rollercoaster of emotions. I was literally on the edge of my seat. It was that ass-clenchingly good!!
H.R. Truelove is a great storyteller, her writing lores you in, it makes you feel like you're in the story with Laura and her multiple versions. Each character is created with a realism and it makes you bond to them. The back story we get for the characters was a revelation, without spoiling it, it really made you sit back and think "wow, that explains a lot".
I absolutely loved reading this book, it was a satisfying ending to a brilliant trilogy and one that will be forever in my mind. The Alter universe isn't going to be leaving me any time soon!

The queen of fantasy dystopian sci-fi is back with the final book of Alter.
I loved this novel. I love that we get more information on how it all started and we get to see Lennox and Wisdom.
Secretly Wisdom is my favourite
There's even more characters in this novel and I loved every minute of it.
It's jam packed with adventure the stakes are high in this novel.
The world building is even more epic, the storyline keeps you gripped it's just fantastic.

I'm sad it's over. I'm not a massive fan of dystopian but H.R. Truelove just creates a fantasy dystopian sci-fi mash up and I loved it.

Definitely a must read

If you are interested in sci-fi and mutli world travel with a apocalyptic disaster, this may just be the series for you. This is the finally book in this series so Laura's story comes to an end and I will say she get a well deserved HEA.

Another incredible book by H.R. Truelove, fantastic world building and it answered every question I had after reading the previous books. We finally got to find out what's up with all of the birds as well as if Wisdom is good or bad.

I love the complex world H.R. Truelove created. It is a twisty, apocalyptic universe that will keep your mind spinning. I also appreciate the author's beautiful prose and attention to detail.
