St. John Bosco used to take his writing to people on the street to get their feedback. His resulting style is clear, concise, and very simple. This Sacred History is in short chapters and short paragraphs that could be easily read to or by a seven-year-old. You can easily imagine Saint John Bosco reading this history to his own boys.
