Wow, this just gets better and better! Ms. Daring and Ms. Pratt have done an amazing job bringing the world of Grand Ridge to life.

Alia has been thrown into a world nothing like she’s known before. I love that she is vowing to destroy the system from the inside out. She can feel and see that the idea of the Ten’s society is corrupt and is in need of an ousting.

The guys have fully accepted Aila as one of their own. They are doing everything in their power to protect her. Sometimes everything is still not enough. Alia needs to work through some very traumatic events. The guys have really stepped it up in trying to be there for her and help in any way they can.

We are left with a very startling revelation about one of the guys. It leaves us with many questions and wanting more. I can’t wait to see where this story is going.

Be sure to review the trigger warnings for this book.

Trouble on Top

Being at the top is not what it's cracked up to be. Aila understand that being a TEN is not a walk in the park. You may have more clout, money, power and prestige but you gain just as many new enemies and challenges. Especially within your own inner circle.

This book was dark and it is best to review the trigger warnings in advance: Abduction, Forced Drug Use, Violent SA, Violence, Manipulation, Mentions of Human Trafficking.

Aila went through a lot in this book but she is strong and will not rest until she gets the revenge she seeks. She just hopes she and her guys live long enough to see it through.

Wow! I am speechless and not even sure how to process that ending. I definitely need more and can’t wait until the next book comes out. This book is action-packed and filled with so many twists that left me guessing what was going to happen next.

Aila is trying to process her life as a Ten. She isn’t sure if she can trust the other Tens but she also recognizes that she needs them. I really like her and am totally rooting for her. I love Darwin but he struggles in this book and is a complete jerk at certain points. I wasn’t sure if he could redeem himself but he does to a certain extent. I absolutely love Riggs and I know there’s so much more to his story. We get glimpses of what might be going on with him in this book but I need to know more! I really like Forrest and Apollo too. These Tens are not as tough or bad as they want everyone to believe they are.

I can’t wait for more in this series! That ending left me hanging and I just need some answers. These characters and the side characters are so well developed that I just need all of their stories!

My god this book went off in so many different directions and I loved every minute trying to keep up with it! The level of backstabbing and underhand tactics was off of the charts in this book. It seemed like nearly everyone had a hidden secret or an agenda. With Aila (FMC) and the guys - Darwin, Forrest, Riggs & Apollo right in the middle of it all. This was so twistedly good and that cracking cliffhanger ending was just killer! I cant wait for book 3 now.

RH MMMM/Enemies to Lovers/Light Bullying/High School/Multi PoV

SYNOPSIS (of Trilogy): Following the death of her mother from cancer the FC, Aila, has moved to Australia to live with her mother’s best friend for her last year of high school after nursing her mother. Aila finds herself moving into a very wealthy lifestyle having been raised poor and quickly discovers that in Grand Ridge, where she now lives, there is a strict hierarchy within the families with “Tens” being the top and other numbers being kept strictly in their group unable to mix with numbers more than one step higher or lower than themselves. Her mother had been ostracised when she, a Ten, got pregnant with a Five’s baby and fled to America. The story arcs over Aila discovering what truly happened to her mother and the legacy that she inherited whilst fighting against the bully boys of the leading Tens families who are fixated with her and a darker plot around the real reason that she was brought back into the fold.

HEAT LEVEL 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/🍆🍆🍆🍆 The heat level is high and the sexy scenes plentiful and graphic. There are some group scenes as well as one on one and, primarily in Book 3 some MM action from men in the RH.

This trilogy is decently written but the story never develops and the Books are slow. Book 1, whilst not unique with the “poor” girl moving in with the rich family, pushing against the spoilt rich boys only to be bullied by them, starts strong with a likeable ballsy FC who stands her ground and refuses to bow. There were also indications of a deeper sub-plot with one of the Ten families involved in the skin trade and the FC being threatened. Unfortunately the deeper story never really manifested and seemed to simply be an excuse for a real villain and an unpleasant kidnap plot with a dub-con scene involving one of the MCs. The FC also became one of those “you treat me like sh1t and hurt me but I can’t help falling into bed with you” characters 🥱. IMO this is such a lame, overdone plot device which makes the FC seem weak and is simply an excuse for the author to introduce sex early on. It’s tired and boring and just reduces the FC for me.

Initially I quite liked the strength of the FC and her refusal to back down with the boys but, with the giving in to the bullies despite how they treated her and the fact that whilst she abhorred how they and all Tens treated people below them she never did anything to stop the abhorrent behaviour when she herself rose to the top. There was no redemption for the boys, no attempt by the FC to make them better and no turning point where they started treating people better. They just continued to act like arses. I also found it annoying that the FC, whilst moaning about how wealthy the Tens were, was quite happy accepting clothing and cars etc. and, even though there was brief show of the FC getting a job, she was fine sponging off others and giving nothing in return or paying her own way. Overall this was a weak FC with no depth.

The MCs were all gorgeous and alpha but their attitude and behaviour towards others was disgusting and at no point did they change their belief that they were better than others simply because of their birth. I found it hard to like any of them. Darwin just came across as a joke and weak with Forrest simply being an entitled arse with little to redeem him. Don’t get me started on what the hell was going on with Cruelty and Londyn (really? “Londyn” 🤦‍♀️) that whole secondary character dynamic was just wrong.

The sub-plot around why the FC had been brought back never manifested and what plot there was petered out in Book 2 with Book 3 never really having any story. In fact, Book 3 seemed entirely redundant. It made no sense how Stephan was able to behave as he did and turn up to parties only to have his actions ignored and the plot relating to Jennifer made absolutely no sense. Lionel was merely a cardboard cut out and there was no comeuppance for Jennifer, it was all very bizarre really. As for the ending, again, bizarre. There’s a big shock towards the end and then Books just finishes 🤷‍♀️. I mean, the author’s drag things out over an entire third Book but deliver nothing and then finish with questions left open??

Whilst not unique this could have been better but the writing was lazy and the authors just couldn’t seem to be bothered to deliver any depth or growth to the characters or the narrative. It was all very basic and pointless.

Book two picks up where book one ends

Darwin is in hospital recovering from his injuries.
Aila learns the truth of her parentage, she has also accepted the inevitable, she is a ten, and gets all the rights and privileges associated with that status.
But when Darwin learns the truth about his own parentage, his life begins to spiral out of control, taking Aila along for the ride.
Riggs, Apollo and Forrest between their status, school, their lives, extra curricular activities, they need to maintain a facade, for they are all destined for much bigger things.
Darwin, Riggs, Apollo and Forrest see another side of their fathers, and learn things that tigger their protective instincts towards Aila.
Alliances are forged behind closed doors, secrets are made, traded and broken, blackmail becomes the norm when there are those are determined to dominate from the top.
Stephan, Apollo’s father, forces Riggs hands, putting Aila in a precarious situation, leaving Darwin, Apollo and Forrest’s hands tied as they watch what plays out in front of them.
Only for Aila’s life to spiral out of control as the nightmare’s consume her, where every step of her life is an open book for the students of Grand Ridge University to pass judgment on.
Despite Darwin’s misgivings, Aila leans on him, her safety and security blanket as she works through her big emotions.
Her mother wanted her to come back to Grand Ridge, but why? And with the discovery of this mysterious ledger, will it give them the answers they are looking for.
When they attempt to procure allies, now that they are members of the board, Aila’s status reinstated, as they go to make their move, Stephan plays them at their own game.
But that ending, Riggs decision to do what he did, his choice impacts not only Apollo, but Aila, Forrest and Darwin. For his odd behaviour and actions have now come full circle, for book three will tell us how it will all unfold and move forward for our illustrious characters of Grand Ridge.
Loved the different dynamics of each of our main characters, how they interacted with each, and worked through scenarios and situations. The characters development show’s growth, that yes they have flaws, but there human, doing what they need to do to survive, for their life, and what they do have been ingrained into them since they were old enough to understand, yet Aila’s presence in their lives has changed the whole dynamics of who they are together and individually. Aila won’t choose between them, but thier dominant, controlling and possessive personality each want to claim her for their own. Those bedroom scenes were blazing hot and next level spicy.

Highly recommend both authors and book!

Wow! This book was fantastic! It starts about a week after the first book’s cliffhanger and this book really steps up the intensity. There is so much drama, scheming, danger, plot twists, breakdowns, and a lot of spicy scenes!

There were quite a bit of revelations in this book that had me either smirking or my jaw dropping. Every time you think things can’t get worse for one or all of these characters… bam! Something much worse and unexpected happens. I was on the edge of my seat for the majority of my time reading this.

Poor Aila just wanted to get through school and make it back to America and unfortunately, school is the last thing on the list of important matters. With her newfound status, she vows to take down the Tens system and build something better. She quickly learns that that is much simpler to say than to actually do. Cue drama from her guys and their fathers, and you have a glorified mess. I really enjoy that we also get side characters and their drama going on in the background and I can only hope that one day Sage and her guys and then Londyn and the band get their own books.

The cliffhanger was brutal compared to the first book’s and I guessed right on what it was going to be about. I have my theories on that whole thing and I can’t wait for the next book to find out if I’m right. The only complaint I have about this is that I wish there were more descriptions for the main and side characters. I couldn’t remember what any of them looked like and besides a few mentions here and there about eye color, that was it. I couldn’t even remember Aila’s hair color until like the last couple of chapters when one of the guys mentioned it. I just wish it would be mentioned more often about hair color and length/style, eye colors, etc. Other than that, this book was amazing and I cannot wait for the next one!

What the

“Little monster, I don’t fuck anyone else, and as sappy as it sounds, when you’re not around me I think about you. And let’s not forget that you’re mine, so I would say this is definitely a relationship.”

This book is like a rollercoaster that you can't decide if you want to get off or not. Don't get me wrong this book is a damn masterpiece but it has so many twists and turns I don't know what to think. Everytime I think I have worked out something in this book something else happens and it's one of the things I love most about Jaye Pratt and Jenna's writing they always keep ya guessing and no point asking Jenna for help she just laughs at you.
When alia finds out her father is not who she thought and her brother is not actually her brother it opens a can of worms and then it's a case of trying to work out how to deal with everything and the 4 boys who turn her world upside down.
Add in moving into a dorm at the school getting a place on the board and the father of one of her guys that seems to have it in for her and you have so many twists your head is gonna explode and we are so there for it lol.
I honestly can't wait to see how this is gonna end cause I have no clue lol.

AAARRRRGGHHH... Ok, what the actual... did I just read? Way to throw an ending at us! Ok, all kidding aside there is SO much drama here it would be impossible to unpack most of it without massive spoilers, and I don't want to do that... Best you go in blind. I can tell you this installment of the TENs crew is just as intense and nail-biting as the last, maybe more so. And the steam, well it IS a reverse harem, what is a reverse harem without steam? Aila is neck deep in men issues, on top of conniving liar and back stab and betrayal issues, but its important to remember things aren't always what they seem, that's pretty much the only constant that the poor girl can rely on, people lie. Trust hurts. Its not all dreary and dire, when the trust is placed in the right hands its like pure vindication and relief. Will Aila and her men find any of it? That remains to be seen but I am very much hoping Forrest, Riggs, Apollo, and Darwin are up for the challenges that lie ahead and I hope there are things left salvageable when all is said and done. I will be counting the days until we get book three!

5⭐ 3.5🌶️

Woah.... What did I just read? I am processing everything I have so many questions, suspicions, and theories. Right when I think things are starting to look up, more drama and trauma occur. This book is darker and more action-packed then book 1 in my opinion.

Aila is still my girl and I can already tell her story is about to get even more wild as the series progresses. More secrets are revealed which also raises more questions. The guys are so possessive but also have their sweet moments. I have so many questions about certain guys and I am going to need some answers soon 🤣.

Jaye Pratt and Jenna Daring know exactly what they are doing with this cliffhanger. I am so hooked on this book and did not want to put it down. Be ready when you start this book because it goes on a wild ride with high highs and low lows.

This book had a really fast pace to it. There was so much going on.

Aila is still trying to navigate her way as a Ten after the shocking events of the last book. She is determined to bring those who are corrupt down and she's unsure if the guys are working with her or against her.

There are some traumatic events for her in this book and Riggs goes through quite a bit. There are still secrets being exposed and just when you think you know what's happening, something else happens.

I love the twists and turns in this series. Forrest and Apollo really stood out for me in this book. The smut was spicy in this book and I'm loving the push/pull with Aila and the guys.

That cliffhanger at the end has my mind reeling and I've got some theories, but time will tell if I'm right.

Wow, that ending!! I need more! This book is action packed, full of twists and turns, drama, danger, and plenty of spice.
Ails is just trying to get through school and go back home. She is trying to find her way in this new world. She is determined to take down the corruption of the Tens. Are the guys with her or against her? She is unsure and it makes things harder at times. She goes through some traumatic things, Riggs does too. There are so many secrets, lies, and very spicy smut scenes. I still have a love/hate relationship with her guys. I really want it to be just love. There are awesome side characters and I hope we get more from them someday. The cliffhanger in this one is even worse than book 1, and I didn’t realize that was possible. I’ll be here on the edge of my seat until the next one!

I need the next book! Loved it!

I thought Tens: The Initiation had completely mind f#¢k*d me but it has nothing on Tens: The Takeover. I loved the first book but book 2 will blow your socks away. You'll cry, your heart will break, you'll get a bit damp (if you catch my drift) and you'll end up losing sleep, getting lost in this book. I love Aila even more, and her girl gang ( I can't even pick who's story in hoping for more). I loved getting to know and seeing different sides to each of her guys, especially a certain one who I've got a feeling is going to end up my favourite. The plot twists will keep your mind spinning, and your anxiety high... It's brilliant. I loved every minute of reading it, devouring each word. I can't wait for the next book.

Tens - The Takeover

Poor Aila didn't have it very good in this book. Jennifer just needs to go. Darwin had it just as bad as Aila. So much craziness... Apollo's dad!!! They need to do something about that man stat. Forrest didn't have it bad, yay for him, lol. Riggs oh Riggs oh Riggs... this guy obviously has been through so much they we just don't really know or understand yet. I like London, she's obviously been through some things of her own and I think she and her "guys" need their own series. *wink*wink*. I love that Sage is there for Aila, she's a great bestie. Overall this book was pretty good, can't wait to see what happens next. Crossing my fingers for Aila and her guys.

Book 2 in this series is a direct continuation of book 1 so that will need to be read first. I do sometimes worry with direct continuations that I would have forgotten the previous story however within a few pages it all came flooding back with ease.

This book was such a page turner. Some secrets are revealed and more questions are asked.

This is a twisted world with triggers and at times hard to read but such a good story that I am eager to conclude.

I love Apollo and Riggs connection and how heartfelt everything that unravels is. That cliffhanger! Again! Why do this to us poor readers.

Holy cow this book was so freaking good. It had lots of twists and turns like the first book. The twists and turns kept you on the edge of your seat. You would things were going to go one way only for them not to go that way. You do learn more about Aila family and her place in everything. I do have to give it to Darwin he goes through a lot in this book and also realized his mistakes and works on fixing them. You see more of the friendship between the guys and how they came together. You see more of their family dynamics in this book. I still don't really have a favorite guy yet but I absolutely love the friendship between Aila and Sage. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Holy (insert S word)! It picked up right where Invitation left off and ran out of control. I am pretty sure I finished the whole book in 1 day. Aila goes through a ROLLLERCOASTER of drama, between lies, unexpected truths and attacks (mental or physical you will have to see... maybe a little of both?) that I know she is going to need buckets of therapy one day. I still love/hate some of her harem (couple I just love), but o man the steam is REAL. The ending has me chomping at the bit for number 3. I don't know how they can fix it! So I need to know...like now would be nice.

OMG!!! I'm in shock about what I just read! My heart is pounding frantically. Starting directly from where book 1 left us, the hits just keep coming for Alia and the guys. As so many secrets and plot twists come, it seems they are always a step behind. This world that the authors has crafted, has me biting my nails and twisting my hands! I was engaged from page one and now I'm desperately hoping that book 3 comes soon! I honestly can't recommend this book enough! If you love RH Academy with some dark elements and an emotional experience, you NEED this!!!!!

I definitely enjoyed reading the first book more than I did this one, but there were still some positives I liked. I think the authors have a great series for people who are interested in why choose a bit of bully romance and lots of hidden drama. It just didn't hook me as much, or keep my full attention because there was just too much going on for me. I still love the ideas behind the plot, the characters themselves and their dynamic, but I won't be moving forward with the series. I still think it's worth checking out though!

Well, the ending to The Takeover had me gasping!! OMG, Jenna & Jaye what are you doing to me?! How could it end like that.

Chapter 22, I was crying so hard. I feel like I’ve connected with all the characters so much, and I am so glad I have the next book ready to go, because I have more questions that needs answering ASAP.

This was a fantastic read, the plot was plotting, the twists were twisting and the spicy was going off the hook!! Another 5 star read for me! Jumping straight into the 3rd book!

This series had me mad, frustrated and then dying laughing.

Alia is the perfect FMC and her besties are def ride or die. Sage is great but Leesha is too funny with her banter. Man she lets Forrest have it.

Darwin is hilarious!!! Forrest went from me thinking
"oh no he didn't" to "girl get that man!!!" Apollo made me fal fr him first. Riggs I wasn't sure about til book three honestly. Now, l get him completely!!!

Loved this series! I love a lot of book but not many have me worried I'm gonna wake my hubby from laughing!!!

Highly recommend this to all Dark Romance Readers

Jaye’s at it again with giving us a book that was just full of intensity. Aila is in deep with men issues, also, back stabbing issues, but can we fully believe that’s what’s really going on here.

If you fell in love with the first book in this series you’ll be blown away by this one! So much drama and angst will have you refusing to put the book down.

I literally can’t wait to read more of this series.

As usual, such an amazing book! I loved the first book and all of the characters and this was a perfect follow up. So many questions were answered, relationships are progressing, and the drama is at an all time high! This book left me feeling an array of emotions that I’m still working on unpacking! If there’s one thing I could be upset about, it’s waiting on the next book. Amazing job Jaye and Jenna!💜 you guys have done an amazing job on this series so far and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

I really got stuck into book 1 and started to figure out who I liked out of these guys.

But boy book 2 took that and blew it out of the water. Reading from the multiple pov's make the book so much more alive.

This book is mega twisty and and has plenty of steam throughout that you might need a fan for. But also each character grows in a different way to create such a great story, with a strong female character and four hot guys you can't go wrong.

Definitely need more

This is the second book in the Grand Ridge University series. This book picks up where book one left off. I will say to please make sure to check trigger warnings before reading. I love the FMC and her five men. This book will have you diving deeper into it with every page turn. There is so many twists and turns and you can't help but grip your kindle. I'm so excited to see how this all plays out. I can't wait for the next book.

I won't even lie. Aila worked my nerves in this one. She knows all 4 boys ( Forrest, Darwin. Riggs and Apollo) are playing games with her, and she lets herself be drawn back into the bullsh!t. I feel like she should have put more resistance into the situation. After finding out Darwin could potentially be her blood sibling, he spirals downwards and does some pretty foul sh!t. And yet in the blink of an eye she forgives him anyway.. smh

Aila is continuing to try to survive and finish up her schooling but man it is not easy to be her right now. There’s so much happening in this book and a ton behind the scenes that I feel like we aren’t privy to yet. The dynamic between Aila and the guys is changing, for the better I believe, and there’s a lot of discovery happening as they get to know each other.

I was a bit nervous reading this book, as the first was a little bit disappointing. But I have to say I was so invested in this book I can not wait for the next one! Riggs - wow. I have a few ideas of what could be happening with him, especially after that ending. I need the next book asap - so hopefully not too long of a wait!

Such a intense story.

My emotions for Aila & all the guys were all over the place . Riggs is changing & falling apart. Forrest is still headstrong about everything. Apollo I just feel bad with how his father treats him. Thank goodness for his group of friends . Sage is ride or die best friend to have. This ending leaves me with so many question.
