I happily snuggle into him, and oh my god, I feel so at home here. Everything about Jay is big and makes me feel safe- like nothing could ever hurt me again.
Layla's dad is going to jail. He asks his best friend, Jay, to look after her while he's in prison. When Jay and Layla meet, they're both instantly attracted to the other.
There's some push-and-pull, neither of them wanting to hurt their relationship with Layla's dad. The conflict resolves quickly and y'all... the spice is spicy.

SOOOOO good! Kinda channeling shades of Jessa kane, with a slightly taboo story of a guy taking care of his best friends daughter. He’s gonna take care of her, all right😜😜 He’s never giving her back, she belongs to him!
This is hot n quick and steamy with plenty of heart.
Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned except to imply he’s been celibate. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. No others, no cheating or abuse. HEA with epilogue

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I absolutely love it.
Jay has known Layla since she was eight years old. He hasn’t seen her for ten years. Jay stayed in touch with her father but never went to visit. Layla’s mother passed away, so it’s only her father and her. Doug, Layla’s dad borrows money from his job and ends up in jail. So Doug asks Jay to take care of his daughter while he’s in jail. Jay pick up Layla after school and he can’t believe how grown up she is now. Layla can’t believe “uncle” Jay is picking her up. She knowns her father has done something wrong. Jay tells her she is going to stay with him, and he can’t keep his hands to himself. A thunder storm happens overnight and she is afraid so she goes to his bed and climbs in with him. They end up dry humping each other. Jay tells Layla they can’t be together it is wrong she is too young from him. The next day when she is ready for school she wears her cheerleader outfit, and Jay doesn’t want to let her leave the house. She asks him if her’ll come to the game, and he tells her yes. She tells him her dad never wanted to come to the games. Layla tells him to sit in the family section and he is proud sitting and watching her. Saturday she finds the smallest bikini she can find to go to the beach, he tells her she’s not going out like that. When she walks away from him he grabs her into his lap and bends her over his knee, then smack her behind. She tells him she needs him so he tells her to ride him. She then starts to stay in his bedroom and not the guest room. Jay takes care of Layla physically and intimately she only goes to the guest room for her clothes. A knock on the door and her father is back, he got time off for good behavior. Jay talks to Doug like Layla isn’t there, he doesn’t acknowledge their relationship. So Layla goes to the bar down the street with her squad. Jay comes and finds her and he has a black eye. He tells her he told her father everything. Then he tells her he loves her and she tells him she loves him. Four years later Jay has bought them a house on the outskirts of town, she is now a message therapist and has a nice list of clients. He now has his own at home car lot, they are expecting baby number two. Her father finally came around and forgave both of them making the best grandfather. They are happily married.

Age gap dad’s best friend romance.
I really liked this story. It was an entertaining and enjoyable take on an age gap and dad’s best friend romance. The characters were interesting and likable. Jay wasn’t prepared when his friend asked him for help, but he agreed anyway. When he followed through and met Layla he knew he was in big trouble. Layla was everything that he had ever wanted and he couldn’t have her. Layla was 18 and felt a little weird staying with Jay, but the attraction that she felt for him was overwhelming. The two of them shared an amazing dynamic that made them super sweet. There was steam plus a touch of drama and angst. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.
Listening to the audiobook was enjoyable. The narrator did a good job differentiating between the characters. I wasn’t a big fan of the male voice that she did but she was still able to bring the story to life. I recommend listening to this audiobook as well.

I really liked this book, thought I wasn’t expecting to honestly. Normally, I’m not a big big fan of daddy kink books, but I thought I’d give this one a go. And I’m SO glad I did.
We follow Jay, who after his best friend is sent to jail, is asked to look after his best friend’s daughter (can’t remember her name). It was pretty creepy at first, considering she called his Uncle Jay, but I’m glad he ended up correcting her later on.
The h was very innocent, and child-like. It didn’t bother me too much, though if it’s not something you seek in the book’s you read then I’d advise against it. Overall, I really enjoyed it actually, and I’m pretty sure this is the first book I’m reading from this author, so I’m looking forward to exploring her some more. Hopefully, her other books are similar.

He’s 35 she just turned 18 it’s kind of weird that he watched her grow up and then wanted her even getting jealous of her talking to a boy her age at school.. The way she acted when her dad got out of jail just showed how childish is is, you didn’t want to come between him and your father but wanted him to claim you in front of him then act surprised when your daddy punched him 🤦🏾♀️.. I’m all for call a man daddy but they way she did it irritated me( I listened to the audiobook) it was full of spice though

Audiobook…….The book was well written but a little cheesy. The dialogue was predictable as well as the over protective “daddy” MMC. This one was a little ICK for me but that is due to me not being a big fan of age gap romances where the FMC is still in high school. 18 or not it just creeps me out to read about the older man dropping his “girlfriend” off at school in the morning.
It was a quick read and I would recommend to anyone that needed something light and fun.

Wow!
A most appropriate title for this story. And boy, did it get dirty and filthy in the way that fit their relationship. I liked that she felt safe and naughty with him and he was just head over heels for her. Loved the details and the descriptions that just brought this story to life. Loved their epilogue.

Great read

This would be a good read if you wanted a porn story line. I found myself cringing and rolling my eyes a lot throughout this book.

This was free on stuff your earbuds day, and you get what you pay for lol I didn't realize it was a novella so there's no real lead up to a plot everything was very instant. The forbidden part was good, but I needed more than that.

God there was absolutely not plot and barely any smut. But it was under 2 hours long. Not sure what made me want to read this. Wouldn’t read it again probably wouldn’t reconmend it either unless someone’s looking for a short terrible smutty read
