This board book features a small Australian bird or animal from Cromer's other title Pete Cromer: Australia. It has three sentences about the animal on one page and the illustration on the other page of the spread. There is a silhouette of a child with the animal to compare size.
Really lovely!
Included: Bilby, Echidna, Little pygmy possum, Thorny devil, Kookaburra, Budgerigar, Gouldian finch.

It’s nice to see Australian native wildlife representation and the illustrations are lovely. The grammar is grating as it keeps switching between singular and plural pronouns.
