Bob Hellman and his wife decide to take new jobs in the town where their vacation lake house is located. They sell their home and move, but only after inviting Bob's recently divorced brother to come along. Unfortunately, Bob's brother hooks up with his wife's sister, and she ends up at the lake house, too. At first, the adjustment isn't too bad. Lots of lake fun that includes swimming, fishing, drinking, and even a little bit of skinny dipping with the attractive neighbors. One of the neighbors is Jessica, who will be a future colleague, but declares herself a low-budget nudist who sunbathes and does yoga behind a privacy fence that Bob can see over from his son's second-story window. For the most part, it seems like a cool change, until Jessica's ex-husband shows up for the Wild Hog Festival.
While I do have a problem with grammatical errors in the story, the author is great at telling a great story. While the story starts out slow, that is only to allow the author to develop the characters. What I like about this story is when you think the story has identified who the killer or killers are, a twist is thrown in leaving the reader to imagine if those who are identified as the killers are in the killers Or is it someone else. Read the book and make you own decision and let me know what you think.
