When Alex and Shayla leave for their honeymoon at the Tropical Paranormal Paradise Resort located in the Bermuda Triangle, they expect fun-filled days of swimming with krakens, zombie worms, and other fun sea monsters. What they got instead was a dead body by a charmed relic. With the help of the naughty stowaway Needles and another vacationing PADA detective Shayla once worked with, Alex and Shayla don their crime-solving hats to help discover who is using a long-lost artifact to kill local citizens.

This may be Ms. St. James' 17th book in this series; but the stories are always fresh and intriguing. Alex and Shayla are on their honeymoon in the Bermuda Triangle when a murder occurs. From there the story takes for at a quick pace with several twists that kept me guessing until the resolution. Of course, Needles just "had" to tag along because he deserved a "vacation". From first page to last the mystery kept me turning the pages. I may have seen a hint of a new spinoff that may be coming by Ms. St. James and I'm already anxious to read it.
Alex and Shayla have more than an adventure on their honeymoon in the Bermuda Triangle. This is an amazing series and keeps getting better and better. Great setting and some very unique characters. Lots of action. Lots of laughs, especially because Needles stows away on their honeymoon. This one kept me guessing and I was totally hooked. Hints of another spinoff series and this one will be another great one by Jenna St James.
Shayla and Alex find themselves trying to solve a murder on their Bermuda honeymoon…
With stowaway Needles, the newlyweds find drama on the high seas. Theres a murder or two, some holiday hijinks, friendly sea creatures, and many more entertaining events. There’s also a few hints towards some new series in the works, and about Zoie’s future.
Another fun, fast read - only this one is in the tropics instead of the woods. A fun series for cosy paranormal mystery lovers.
I've decided the Author must hate poor Alex, she put Needles in their honeymoon! He has become beyond a pest, yes Shayla does better putting up with Needles cause she has been with him a long time, but it was totally cruel to Alex to make him put up with him on their honeymoon. Yes, I still gave the story a 5 rating for the storyline and all the other characters. I love the interaction between Alex, Shayla and Zoe, they make the stories very enjoyable! Please, please, please less Needles!!!
I'm sort of shocked I'm giving this one a 3-star. This has been one of my favorite series the author has. However, this one was forced, simplistic, and not that fun. Having Needles go on the honeymoon made absolutely no sense and was nothing but a slapstick commentary. The murders were not as complex as usual and overall multiple storylines just ended without any closure. Sadly, not my favorite for certain.
I was worried that a mystery away from the supportive cast of characters back at Enchanted Island wouldn’t be the same. It wasn’t but it was awesome. Readers will get to enjoy Shayla and Alex as a couple of strong investigators on their own when they, of course, stumble upon a murder while on their honeymoon. Needles had an adventure on his own but was still there when needed although he wasn’t expected.
A honeymoon without Needles, nice try! What a terrific and wonderful place for a honeymoon it just sounded beautiful! I did not figure that one out until it was presented to me. Very good twisted story line. I love this author's imagination and this entire community of magic that she has come up with. I can't wait for the next book!!
Outstanding continuation of A Witch In The Woods series. Alex and Shayla are off to celebrate their honeymoon and of course, the twists and turns start quickly. Needles stows away with them to the Bermuda Triangle. They come across a dead body and the mystery begins! Great job Jenna, so well written!!!
It's gone downhill... they've shrunk by about a hundred pages... continuity is dire... characters wooden... there's no setting scenes and minimal description... very little by the way of a plot...
Not working out as enjoyable reading any longer... skimping to get more books out faster is working against her...
This book was quite exciting and enjoyable. Alex and Shea take a trip to the Bermuda Triangle for their honeymoon. There may be a stowaway. Lol. Their fun in the sun is interrupted by the discovery of a murder, so it's back to work. Colorful characters and a fun escape.
Book 17 is a honeymoon trip of a lifetime and 2 murders and mysteries. And guess who smuggled himself on the honeymoon and fails in love. Well written and short but intriguing. Highly recommend.
I mean what's not love about a magical flying porcupine, a witch game warden and gargoyle sheriff -- all honeymooning in the Bermuda triangle? Great read. Can't wait for the next book!
I love the setting, the characters, everything! However, I'll be extremely upset if Needles stops appearing in each of Shayla's books. He is a must in each investigation.
Shayla and Alex's honeymoon is interrupted with a murder when they travel to the Bermuda Triangle. With her former job asking them to step in until an agent can arrive, the newlyweds have no choice but to investigate.
The different Paranormals are interesting. So many different skill sets. I hope Zoey does good in her new career. Alex and shayla are going to make a cute couple. I wonder if kids will be in the future.
This series is fun and funny. Any book with a flying porcupine is a must read. Needles (said porcupine) even fines a love interest. I have enjoyed all of these books and I enjoy Ms St James other series as well.
Jenna St James has given readers yet another fabulous story!!! Alex and Shadow are off on their honeymoon but of course they have to solve a murder or 2!!! You won't be disappointed!!!
I love this book. It is fun and full of adventure. This series is fantastic. I love the characters, especially Needles. This book is engaging and impossible to put down. The mystery has many twists and surprises. I highly recommend this book.
Totally enjoyed it! This is a well written and has well developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
They never seem to not find wrongs to right, another great story in this adventure, everyone's growing, always can't wait to see where it's going to lead them.
