This is a very hard review for me to write.. The writing was fantastic and pulled me right in, the suspense and twists were masterful. What really didn't work for me was the triangle. This is a personal pet peeve of mine. I dislike triangles. So much so that I usually stop reading when I find one. To Olivia Wildenstein's credit, I kept reading. Her writing and suspense building was so good for me that I couldn't put it down. I just had to find out what happened next.
The book picks up exactly where the previous one ended. And where I was hoping to see more of Ness's training and integration in the pack, I instead got a mating bond between Ness and August. One they didn't choose but apparently their wolves decided for themselves. Everything is in upheaval once again. With Everest still on the loose, the discovery of a theft and the bad guy making sly moves, the tenuous trust bonds between Ness and Liam as well the pack are strained and tested.
I'm trying to find a way to explain how I felt during the book without spoilers but I'm finding it difficult. There were again moments when I felt my heart in mouth for Ness but there were also moments that I just wanted to slap the triangle out of the book. Especially when one part of the triangle behaved badly. For me, what was done was self absorbed, immature, disrespectful and after a lot of thought unforgivable. I don't want this guy to get the girl. I'm not rooting for him and if he does win in the next book, I don't think I'll like it. Though I will say that the way Olivia Wildenstein wrote all this made me feel so invested and possibly why I took it all so badly.
Everything else, I loved! The suspense, the secrets, the revelations, Ness's uncle Jeb, the bad guys. Everything! I was on the edge of my seat and when the book finished I really needed to read the next book. I just wish there was no triangle because I know she probably wont end up with the guy I'm rooting for. I was engaged emotionally and invested in Ness. All in all, a good second book that left me wanting more.

August is her childhood crush but her wolf sees him as more when a mating bond links them together.
The romance and pack dynamics are about to get more complicated. There are lots of twists and turns in this book and it’s more than a romance. I’m loving every minute.

“If you kiss me, then you can’t leave,” he murmured. It took me a moment to make sense of his words. “Why not?” “Because you can’t feed a starving man, then take away his food.”
4,25 stars for the plot
2,5 stars for some personal pet peeves
6 stars for the author’s reaction!
I know this is an odd rating but I will have to give nuances and explanations in this review.
First of all, I loved the first book “A Pack of Blood and Lies” and I was really happy when the author offered me the opportunity to read the second book in the series.
I am still captured and enchanted by the pack intrigue, the twists and turns in the story and the secrets that keep piling.
I think Olivia Wildenstein knows how to keep her reader’s attention and feeds us with some tidbits of information to keep us guessing at the global picture.
You are never certain who is lying and who is telling the whole truth, nor who really is the villain or if the villain maybe had a reason to act badly and should maybe be forgiven.
The writing is smooth, fluid and you never get a dull moment in that story.
BUT
I encountered two of my biggest pet peeves in that story and it really affected my rating: love triangle and manipulation.
I will detail this later because I want to take a moment to praise Olivia’s reaction when I contacted her about my predicament.
I knew that I would not write a stellar or really positive review because of said pet peeves. I am a reader and a reviewer led by her emotions and if said emotions are negative I can’t honestly write a very positive review.
That book being an ARC and the promotion of the book being part of a blogger’s life, I contacted Olivia to explain why I could not give a five or four stars and asking her if she wanted me to delay the publishing of my review.
I would post it as I swore to be always honest with the readers but I am also respectful or authors and did not want to jeopardize the book’s launch.
And that’s when Olivia told me that I could publish now and that she perfectly understood that the book could not please everyone.
We even got to chat about my issues and she explained her reasoning and choices, something that I really appreciated and helped me to understand!
Kudos for Olivia here as I have heard so many stories of authors attacking or even harassing reviewers who published mixed or bad reviews. Every time I find it really unpleasant and a book can’t please everyone. That’s just impossible! And as long as the reviewer is respectful, he or she is entitled to express an honest opinion!
So, I am here today not only to review the story but also to tell you that Olivia truly is a great person and a good sport!
Now let’s go to my personal pet peeves.
I can’t stand love triangles.
It happens sometimes but it really depends on different factors and “A Pack of Vows and Tears” had me shouting murder! The love triangle is between Ness, Liam and August.
I am obviously rooting for one of the protagonists that I think is perfect for Ness, especially when the other one really disappointed me here.
I just wanted to make Ness SEE who was perfect for her and why could she not realize it? It was obvious? And why did he have to suffer? And ….
You get it I was really frustrated. Which in itself shows that indeed Olivia can write a story and incite extreme feelings in her readers LOL
My second pet peeve is manipulation.
Rather when a main character, here we speak about Ness, is always falling for what that someone tells her even when he did mistreat her or made hurtful comments or ….
I admired Ness in the first book as she fought all these males and gave us a display of “girl power”. In this sequel when I was under the impression that she just was manipulated and fell for it I was infuriated! Where was her backbone? Where was kickass Ness? Why did she believe this and gave it a second try and ….
Here again feelings where boiling!
Why didn’t I stop reading then? Because that book does have many assets!
Because the plot and the story is captivating.
Because the writing is good.
Because secrets are piling up and mysteries have to be uncovered.
Because I wanted to know what will happen.
Because I hoped that Ness would make the right choice (as in choose who I rooted for of course!) and find her backbone again to kick some ass and leave him at the curb!
Will I read the third book?
Without a doubt, especially after my discussion with Olivia about the reasons she wrote the story in such a way (reasons that are included in the final version but not in the ARC that I got) and about Ness’s future in the third book (she did not give me spoilers thank God but hinted at some development that should please me….hopefully).
Do I recommend this book?
If you have read “A Pack of Blood and Lies” certainly as this is the continuation of the series but if we share the same pet peeves be warned and protect your Ereader from possible impact on walls/ground/…

This book was a bit of a disappointment after how much I enjoyed the first book in the series. The idea and the story remain incredibly interesting and I definitely want to know more. But when you throw in a terribly awkward and annoying love triangle you’ve lost my interest right there. Sometimes a love triangle can be interesting but it has to be well thought out and done in a way that doesn’t make me cringe, unlike this one!

Following right after Liam Kolane was chosen as the Boulder’s Alpha, it looks like Ness Clark’s happiness isn’t going to last longer. Something that could destroy Ness and Liam’s relationship happened, August Watt decided to come back and imprinted on Ness. Being a mate to someone who’s like a brother to her make Ness uncomfortable. But that’s not her only problem. One accident makes everyone believe she betrayed her pack. Ness is tired of fighting and having to prove herself worthy of her pack’s trust. But an enemy pack arrives and threatens the Boulders. Would she leave her new family? Or would she help them fight the newcomers?
I’m so excited when I got an email with an early copy of A Pack of Vows and Tears enclosed. I know I couldn’t wait for more than a second longer so I just devoured this book in one sitting. The writing captivated me from the first page. It flowed flawlessly and super easy to followed. One moment I was in the first chapter then I’m already halfway through it and suddenly, I reached the last page. All I knew was that I need the third book immediately. It was so magical, beautiful and amazing. I loved it.
I really enjoyed how things heated up quickly and got bigger this time. I liked the idea of putting another pack in this book so the story escalated to a new level. I also loved the romance! I’m hooked, I wonder how Wildenstein wrote it. It made me giggling, screaming in frustration and smiling so big. I loved a great written romance and this book satisfied me.
The characters were just like I remembered. I didn’t realize I missed them until I read this book. Ness has a pretty great development. She still a brave and strong girl but after things that happened, she grew more confident and independent. And I loved the most annoying person in the Boulder, Lucas Mason. Yes, sometimes he made me want to strangle him but I’m very grateful I got a glimpse of another side of him. Also, August was a very sweet guy. Can I keep him?
Overall, I enjoyed every second I spent reading A Pack of Vows and Tears. I must say that I liked how things turned out in this book. It was great, easy read with beautiful writing, great romance, awesome characters, and fun werewolves stuff. If you’re looking for an amazing paranormal romance book, I really recommend trying this series.

I guess I should have listened to my gut with how I felt at the end of book one, but I wanted to see if some of the issues ironed out. The misogyny seemed to be less in this...until it reared its head again and I just found it so tiresome and lazy plotting. The slut-shaming, I'm glad to say didn't return in book two.
So why did this turn out worse than book one for me? I just found it pretty boring, like many things I'd read before and it didn't float my boat at all. While I did like the heroine, I didn't like Liam at all and the ensuing story between the three of them (August included) is so predictable that I don't want to waste my time.
I'm not bothering with book three, I feel like I know the over-arching plot direction and I'm not inclined to waste my reading time. This series wasn't for me and I don't think the author is either.

5+++ Stars
This really is the most amazing shifter series. It has drama, suspense, twists and turns and above all, a complicated love triangle between Ness, Liam, and August. The story continues to fascinate and dominate my thoughts and I really can’t wait for the next instalment.
Having loved reading A Pack of Blood and Lies, I listened to the audiobook before starting APoVaT. This added further depth to my overall reading experience and I will definitely do the same before book 3.
For me, the strength of the story lies in the detail and the fact it’s not “just another shifter book”. It feels different, it acts differently and it pulls you into the storyline with ease. This instalment had me an emotional wreck. The author wasn’t lying when she said Liam would break my heart.
After the high of the ending in A Pack of Blood and Lies with Liam and Ness seemingly finding their way to each other, suddenly even more darkness descends on the Boulder Wolves. I was lulled into a false sense of security when starting out with A Pack of Vows and Tears, this story is brutal to all those #TeamLiam fans out there. And yet, when we’re really introduced to August, and his washboards abs and sweet but protective nature, , I almost forgot who Liam was.
Aidan Michaels, of course, continues to be at the root of the problems the pack faces but in APoVaT you get to find out exactly who Aidan Michaels is and why he’s targeting the Boulder Wolves.
As expected with wolves and shifters, this book is gory at times but not so much that it is off-putting. It also has a feel of a YA/NA story but then only Ness really falls into the young age category. The romance has a less is more feel to is so if you’re looking for pages and pages of fur-flying sexual encounters you may be disappointed and yet, I didn’t miss any overtly sexual activities. The author simply left you satisfied and yet still wanting more.
So, overall a quality story from a quality author and well worth the 5+++ star review from me. This is definitely an author everyone should sit up and take note of.

Ero in fremente attesa di questo libro, non vedevo l’ora di scoprire cosa stesse per accadere ai nostri protagonisti. E se Sangue e bugie vi era piaciuto, Lacrime e promesse non potrete fare altro che amarlo.
La qualità del romanzo in termini di scrittura è paragonabile al primo volume della serie I lupi di Boulder, ma l’intreccio e il giro di boa presente costituiscono davvero un colpo al cuore. Sì, ci ho sperato, l’ho voluto sin dal primo momento e finalmente è arrivato il momento per loro. Shhh!
Come ci eravamo lasciati?
Ness è ufficialmente entrata nel branco, l’unica ragazza in un gruppo di uomini (si fa per dire). Liam è il nuovo Alfa e come tale prende le decisioni per tutti i lupi affidati a lui. La loro, chiamiamola, relazione prosegue fino a quando… rullo di tamburi, di maracas e pure “scuotimento” di sedere, se volete… Come sono felice… C’è una novità! Una sorta di maledizione riappare all’orizzonte e fa in modo che un lupo e una lupa siano destinati a diventare una coppia. Si può lottare contro questa magia che tira letteralmente dall’ombelico in direzione del proprio “compagno”? Assolutamente sì. Ma forse una forza maggiore ha deciso di dare a qualcuno l’opportunità di capire ciò che davvero desidera. Il ritorno di lui (Chi è lui? Non puoi averlo dimenticato) è un fatto.
Durante tutta questa intricata storia di amore, appartenenza e unione, compaiono una serie di disastri. Un branco sta creando non pochi problemi, un’Alfa donna ha un obiettivo che metterà in difficoltà la leadership di Liam, rischiando addirittura la fine del clan dei lupi di Boulder e dietro le fila c’è un mostro pronto a tornare in azione.
I protagonisti in questo volume sono cresciuti sia per la personalità che si delinea sempre di più, sia per la loro parte attiva e decisionale. Ho notato non solo una svolta nell’azione singola e del branco ma anche un insieme di verità non dette che hanno creato brio alla trama e curiosità nel lettore. Una narrazione talvolta lenta ma con descrizioni minuziose che ho assaporato meglio in un secondo momento, probabilmente perché ero insaziabile nel voler conoscere gli eventi.
L’anima fantasy si apre e sprigiona maggiori momenti paranormal e meno romance, sebbene questi ultimi non manchino (credo di aver fatto un uso improprio dei cosiddetti occhi a cuoricino per buona parte del libro). Siamo a un bivio tra Liam e August (#teamaugust tutta la vita) e tra seguire il branco o intervenire in favore della famiglia. Cosa avrà deciso Ness? Vi lascio scoprire da soli cosa è accaduto.
L’autrice convince con la sua scrittura scorrevole, sebbene talvolta non immediata e finalizzata agli eventi, dialoghi ben strutturati con personaggi costruiti ad hoc. Nessuno è un santo, questo ci piace, e tutti sono angeli e demoni allo stesso tempo, talvolta li prenderesti a bastonate altre volte li rimpinzeresti di noccioline ma sempre molto credibili. Ho solo una cosa da dire a Liam “Ma non potevi cucirti la bocca?!”.

Durante tutta questa intricata storia di amore, appartenenza e unione, compaiono una serie di disastri. Un branco sta creando non pochi problemi, un’Alfa donna ha un obiettivo che metterà in difficoltà la leadership di Liam, rischiando addirittura la fine del clan dei lupi di Boulder e dietro le fila c’è un mostro pronto a tornare in azione.
I protagonisti in questo volume sono cresciuti sia per la personalità che si delinea sempre di più, sia per la loro parte attiva e decisionale. Ho notato non solo una svolta nell’azione singola e del branco ma anche un insieme di verità non dette che hanno creato brio alla trama e curiosità nel lettore. Una narrazione talvolta lenta ma con descrizioni minuziose che ho assaporato meglio in un secondo momento, probabilmente perché ero insaziabile nel voler conoscere gli eventi.
L’anima fantasy si apre e sprigiona maggiori momenti paranormal e meno romance, sebbene questi ultimi non manchino (credo di aver fatto un uso improprio dei cosiddetti occhi a cuoricino per buona parte del libro). Siamo a un bivio tra Liam e August (#teamaugust tutta la vita) e tra seguire il branco o intervenire in favore della famiglia. Cosa avrà deciso Ness? Vi lascio scoprire da soli cosa è accaduto.
L’autrice convince con la sua scrittura scorrevole, sebbene talvolta non immediata e finalizzata agli eventi, dialoghi ben strutturati con personaggi costruiti ad hoc. Nessuno è un santo, questo ci piace, e tutti sono angeli e demoni allo stesso tempo, talvolta li prenderesti a bastonate altre volte li rimpinzeresti di noccioline ma sempre molto credibili. Ho solo una cosa da dire a Liam “Ma non potevi cucirti la bocca?!”.

So book one of this series introduced us to Ness and the Boulder wolves, and A Pack of Vows and Tears picked up right where the first left off.
I liked seeing more of Sarah and the Pines in book two, enough to feel bad about what happened at the end. These books move at an absolutely breakneck speed and I really can't wait to read book 3, which I am about to do now. I hate seeing a love triangle but I have got to know how the fight plays out in book 3.
Speaking of the love triangle, I don't know how I feel about the mating link being a physical thing. I also really don't know which character I ship Ness with, I am almost hoping that a new character comes along in book 3 that can belong to just her.
I think it will be hard to top this book but hopefully A Pack of Love and Hate (book 3) is an absolute banger to end this trilogy!

Ness is a part of the boulder pack and dating Liam, the new alpha. But she’s torn between her new relationship with the pack and Liam and loyalty to her family. Her cousin Everett betrayed her, and while she’s mad at him, she doesn’t want him executed. She just wants him to get a fair trial.
Things are further complicated when August, Ness’s childhood friend and crush, comes back to town. A mating bond forms between Ness and August, and Ness doesn’t know what to do. She didn’t ask for this.
I worshipped him as a kid, because he was so sweet with me, so attentive. It felt wrong to crush on him today. I barely knew him anymore.
The majority of the book is angst between Ness and Liam. She’s ticked at him with the decisions made about her cousin. And the new mating bond isn’t helping.
I wasn’t a big fan of Ness in the first book. And while she still gets in her own way a lot of the time, she really does get screwed over in this one. I liked August much more than Liam in the first book, so the only reason I read this was when I saw that she forms a mate bond with him.
If you like love triangles and mating bond plot lines don’t annoy you, you might like this urban fantasy featuring werewolves.

We all knew where this was going. I mean the tugging feeling she felt for August at the end of the last book...
I definitely like August more (obviously). I was a bit shocked at everything Wildenstein put in this one to make you hate Liam. I mean he just kept getting worse and worse!
I do however like the change everyone else in the pack seems to be going through. I still felt like Ness is mistreated but I am growing to love some characters (especially Lucas who I hated before!) Please let their be a spinoff for him and you know who!
This series is going in a fun direction and I am excited to see what is going to happen next!

A Pack of Vows and Tears is advertised as the seductive follow-up. Holy Hell!
I was not prepared for the way this book went down. I'm not certain what I was expecting but I am so torn right now I'm not sure how I'm going to wait for book 3. I'm not even sure when book 3 is expected. I hope soon! I hope really really soon. I have to know what's next for Ness.
Olivia Wildenstein is among my favorite writers. This series has just blown me away.
I'd love to say more but I just can't ruin it for you. You must read this series. You'll be addicted. I can't imagine you won't be just as emotional about this as I am. Seduced, indeed!

Okay so I absolutely loved the first book and couldn't wait to get my hands on book 2. I will say I was a bit thrown by the change in male love interest. I knew there was a love triangle coming, but I didn't see the twist coming. It was a great one, I will say and totally provided the drama and intensity needed for me to keep flipping those pages. What I did not see coming, was how well the author would write these characters and bending me to her will. I ended up falling for the other guy right alongside Ness. Bring on book 3!

Annnnnndddddd she does it again.
It's kinda crazy well written this series is written- especially this book.
After reading the epilogue of the first book, I was kind of apprehensive that this book would ONLY center around the love triangle. But when I began reading and saw how once again there was a decent plot line to it all.....it just filled me up inside.
There were SO many moments wherein the plot twists were so sharp and unexpected that it surprised even me- and I pride myself in being able to predict any and all possible turn of events.
Another thing that really hit me was how I found myself constantly- and I mean CONSTANTLY, alternating between rooting for August and Liam. It was maddening to say the least. I thought for SURE I would've been able to decide between the two. But now to only be conflicted and infuriated as all hell.......it leaves me aching for more.....
So much more.
But the third book will have to do I guess...;)

A Pack Of Vows and Tears by Olivia Wildenstein is the second book in a new series. this book starts right after the first one finished. After the trials Ness finally earned her spot at the all-male Boulder pack and she won over Liam Kolane, her new Alpha. But soon the trouble starts, in form of a mating link with her childhood friend August and her treacherous cousin claims she helped him escape his death sentence. This becomes problematic to Ness and Liam's early relationship.
This one captivated me from the start! I loved this story and I can't wait to read the next book!

5 what-the-fuck-just-happened-again stars!
Just like the previous book in this series, Olivia has left me speechless and in awe of her story-telling power. She even managed to make me enthralled in a trope that I have vowed to despise: the dreaded love triangle. I usually have a clear-cut favorite in any love triangle I come across--Edward over Jacob, Peeta over Gale, Colt over Hawke. But Olivia excelled in demonstrating the reason why I dislike love triangles in the first place: they are heart-wrenching and confusing as fuck.
I started this book firmly on Team Liam, but once again he makes some shitty mistakes and really fucks up his relationship with Ness. And then there is August, steadfast and calm and always there to support and love Ness whether she wants it or not. August is such a good guy that it's hard not to fall for him, but even with all of the crap Liam does he just has this way of wiggling back into Ness's (and my) heart. What can I say, I love a broody bad boy with jackass tendencies.
And while all of this is going on, there are so many other surprises and bombs being dropped concerning Ness, her family (both living and deceased), and ties she didn't know she had to her enemies, both new and old. There were so many layers and evolving pieces to this novel, and it was such a joy watching them unravel and guessing where they will fit in the next and final book. I feel as though the Alpha of the Creek pack will be a worthy adversary for Liam and Ness, and I cannot wait to see how it all ends. Overall, this series has been such a rollercoaster of emotions and is definitely one of my favorite new series of this year! I recommend this series to readers who are looking for something that is unpredictable and will involve your emotions all the way through.

I can't wait to read the third and final book in this trilogy. It's also a huge compliment that I gave the book 5 stars, since I'm so critical towards Fantasy YA lately

Loved this!!! Book 2 in the Boulder Wolves trilogy moves with great pace and totally ups all the stakes. I so love Ness and now that she is a full member of the pack her life continues to evolve in so many directions. The unexpected link with August throws everything with Liam into confusion and sets up a great love triangle. While I do love Liam, he really does make life for him and Ness difficult and I loved learning so much more about August and getting that relationship with Ness. The new threats to the pack and the secrets revealed really does ramp up the tension and I flew through this story. I have completely fallen in love with this world, its characters and it's such a great mix of fantasy, romance and mystery!!! So excited to find out what happens in the conclusion!!!!

Man i was spellbound by this book, gripping my reader and literally yelling at Ness to stop chasing Liam, that hes bad for her and to go after August. I was so proud when she stood up for herself and had to remind myself that she was only 17 and that her heart was still young and full of beliefs. Oh man, the twists that started hitting at the end were rough and out of left field. I'm excited to see how it will all be resolved. And is something brewing between Sarah and lucas?

I received a free copy for an honest review. Wow, just wow. I'm not usually surprised by the way most books go but I was by this one and it makes me love it all the more. I like some of the characters more because of this book and I hate others. I will say I am confused by some of Ness's decisions, like what are you thinking girl? I cannot wait for the next one. This series is yet another hit.

This series is just so amazing! A Pack of Vows and Tears is the second book in the Boulder Wolves series and it was even better than the first. Ness is trying to fit into the pack and make a life in Boulder but things don't go smoothly especially when her cousin Everestt is still out there doing who knows what, plus August Watt, her childhood friend, is back and something unexpected happens.
I don't want to give too much away because I don't want to spoil it, so I will try my best to give a decent review. I loved A Pack of Vows and Tears so much and I wish I had a better way of conveying that in this review.
Olivia is a genius. She had me from book one, I was and still am so invested in Ness and her story. All of the things she has been through and are still dealing with are a lot, but she is still as strong and as scrappy as ever. I love Ness and I feel that she needs her happy ever after, and I am hoping she eventually gets it. The relationships Ness has formed are beginning to change. She and August dynamic is changing and Ness needs people on her side, to help support her within the pack. After everything her family has been through, Ness also seems to be getting better along with her uncle.
The story flowed very nicely, I love the interaction and drama between the characters. One thing that had me frustrated was that I realized something that too Ness the whole book to figure out and just when I thought thing might be going Ness's way of course that is when things go wrong. I have hopes for what I want for Ness to happen in the next book but I don't know if it's going to happen. Ness has so much stacked against her and I don't know if she will be able to pull it off, but I am looking forward to finding out.
So much happens in this book and I loved every second of it. I am so deeply invested in this series now that I don't know if my heart can handle what's coming up in the next book. There was so much pack drama, relationship drama, shocking secrets were revealed, questions answered, I learned more stuff about the packs and a not so shocking betrayal. A Pack of Vows and Tears was highly entertaining and I can't help but rave about the series. Things are looking pretty bad and Ness finds herself in the middle of everything, I am excited to find out what happens next. The epic conclusion is coming up soon, I can't wait to read the final book, A Pack of Love and Hate.

As a reader have you ever found a series that just seems to fit you? Where you what nothing more than to just become a part of the story, be one of the characters, live and love among them? This is that series for me. I just cannot get enough of the characters, the story line, the first love and the adventure. Oh Holy Lycanthropy! And I thought I was in love with Blood and Lies!
This book was everything that I wanted, needed, coveted and awaited, yet was filled with twists I didn’t see coming! It was an emotional roller coaster ride. I took my time reading it, then read it again because I could not stop thinking about it. I have never in my life interacted so much with a story. I would caution readers to get a padded kindle cover before reading this book, because when you inevitably end up throwing your kindle you need it whole, LOL.
Immediately following the events of A Pack of Blood and Lies, this story starts out with the answer to the question we readers had at the end of book one. From there the action doesn’t let up. I was beyond surprised at the twists and turns the story took. I was so involved with both the story line and the characters that I kept yelling at the characters like they could hear me. I won’t tell you why because it would give away spoilers, just be ready for a bounty diverse emotions! After all, isn’t that what makes a wonderful read? What all readers want? To become so invested in the story and the characters that you just can’t put the book down or forget the characters?
This was beyond another hit for me and I cannot, CANNOT wait for book three: A Pack of Love and Hate! For fans of Maggie Stiefvater (and the Mercy Falls Series), you will devour these books.
