Easily 4.5 stars.
The world CE Guard has created is growing and developing quickly. There’s so much more depth here than in the previous two books, and I’m all for it - this part of Avery and Hunter’s story has been the most captivating so far. I can’t wait to see where they go from here and how they conquer the next level of big bad that they’re now up against!
