About the author

The second book in the British Billionaire series gives us the much anticipated story of Kennedy and Connor, the two best friends from Charmed. Their story is a sweet second chance romance that crosses the pond and gives you a taste of New York and London. These two are still so hung up on each other five years later that their mutual friends orchestrate a weekend for them to collide and share a small cottage to work out why they broke up. Connor and Kennedy’s age gap second chance story is super sweet and a little steamy.

Meeting at work in London, Kennedy and Connor were inseparable until one day, Kennedy suddenly broke things off and returned to the states. Connor never forgot her, and Kennedy could never move on. Forced together for the weekend by their mutual friends, Kennedy reveals the real reason she left. However, past hurt still lingers and in order to move on together, Connor must prove to her that Kennedy is his one and only forever.

I loved how Connor, now much more grown up than when they met, had grown a pair and refused to take no for an answer… because no was not the answer. I loved that he followed her when she ran and also adored Kennedy’s over-protective elderly neighbors. Kennedy has some deep, and not unfounded at all, insecurities about her relationship with Connor, but needed to learn to trust the man he’s become and to let go of other people’s opinions. While this story deals with some very heavy issues, it’s lighthearted and super sweet. The perfect cozy romance to lose yourself in for the weekend.

Love doesn’t disappear

Kennedy and Connor. A second chance romance where miscommunication was the issue. The story picks up five years from the first book. Skye and Will are loving life and have two kids and Kennedy and Connor are the godparents, but something occurred to have Kennedy leave Connor. The story shows their emotions and chemistry immediately, then slowly explores what happened to lead to their separation. Connor has matured a lot since the PA boy in book one and the lengths he goes to in an effort to show his emotion is precious. As with all AW books the imagery is vivid and the characters well developed and full bodied. The ending was sweet and a perfect HEA.

Kennedy Takahashi and Connor Murphy were so in love five years ago. But she left him suddenly with no explanation, Connor was befuddled and thought maybe his youth was the issue. But their mutual friends Skye and Will invite them both to visit… on the same weekend. Connor sees it as an opportunity to find out what went wrong and get back together but Kennedy’s still running and pretending she doesn’t care about him. It is evident to everyone they still love each other.

I was quite disappointed in the outing, to my taste it was fluff even before the extra fluff filling and toppings and I found Kennedy exhausting.

Another highly recommended read

I’m so glad Connor & Kennedy got their own story!

Five years ago Kennedy broke Connors heart when she suddenly left him. With some meddling from their best friends Skye & Will from book 1, Charmed, they are brought back together. Can Connor win back the love of his life?

Low on angst, romance, hot sexy mc’s, a cute precious Niece, great friends and a beautiful HEA!

Highly recommend this two part series.

I liked it. I love a second chance romance, and I was happy to see that some plot points weren't dragged out forever. However, I felt the pacing of the book was really off. They get together at like the halfway point, have a small scuffle, and then it's like 30-40% of... filler. Don't get me wrong, I do like seeing them being happy. I hate when the characters finally get together and the book is over. But this just felt like I was waiting for something to happen that never did.

Absolutely love Kennedy and Connor’s story

I loved this story. I don’t get many characters where one of them is Asian. This was cool for me since I’m Asian. Love reading about the dynamic between Will, Skye, Connor, and Kennedy. All around loved this whole series.

Wonderful

This is book too captivated with Connor and kennedy these 2 were separated based on a misunderstanding 5 years ago. And with a chance meeting they realised that their love is still as powerful as it was the 1st day they met . I love this many series

I have been waiting on Connor and Kennedy’s book for a while and it did not disappoint.

I am just loving little Penny and her antics. I was in stitches with her.

I was getting frustrated with Kennedy for constantly running instead of stopping and talking to Connor.

I do wonder if Lauren will get a book.
