She needs a mechanic. And he needs a cowgirl. When they strike a deal, will they get more than they bargained for?
Faye Callahan would give anything to get her mother’s old truck fixed. It’s the only memory she has of her. But there’s a problem… Faye has no money. She’s too busy helping her family on the ranch to have a paying job.
Adam Cullen is back in Copper Creek, taking over the family auto mechanic’s shop so his dad can retire. Not his first choice. Because what is there to do in a small town in the middle of nowhere? But then he goes to the local rodeo, and a certain pretty barrel-racer catches his eye.
Adam offers Faye a trade: he’ll fix her mom’s truck for free if she teaches him to ride a horse and compete in the rodeo. Faye jumps at the chance, even though she thinks his goal is questionable. He shouldn’t have to do something life-threatening to win a girl’s attention.
After all, Adam is handsome and muscular and smart… and Faye just might have a huge crush on him. But she’s stuck in the friend zone with no way out. Will she be able to stick to her side of the bargain without her heart breaking?
Wow! Zeke Callahan’s influence is still strong, even after he loosened up about his daughters dating. Losing his wife and then raising 7 daughters on his own made him keep a tight rein on anything he considered dangerous. So when Faye’s new boyfriend wanted a go at the rodeo, his danger hackles rose sky high. Faye has never had experience with boys or men, so she bumbles around in this relationship sending all kinds of mixed signals. Adam also was still finding himself. Then there’s Dahlia, who likes the guys buzzing around her queen bee and only returns interest if the guy turns to someone else. There’s a lot of misunderstanding that could be solved if there was more open and honest communication. We’re getting to the end of available women in the family, both Eloise and Brielle have been giving their dad gray hairs, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I received this as an ARC. Clean.
He learned more than just how to be a cowboy. This is Faye story and it was a splendid book to spend time with. I have always liked Faye and I love how attached she was to her mom’s old truck. Faye was a character who could be so strong, but still not sure of things, out spoken yet sometimes feeling bad about it. Adam I liked too. You just knew when his mind was saying they were friends but his heart yelled she is the one that something was going to pop. I loved seeing their love grow. A good set up with Shane and his cousins they are going to be trouble can’t wait to read that story. I did receive a free copy of this book from Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
Faye Callahan wants to fix her mothers truck but does not have the money to do that.
Adam Cullen has come back in Copper Creek, to help his father in his auto mechanic’s shop, He wants to learn to ride so he can enter in the local rodeo.
They make an agreement that if she teaches him to ride and spends some time helping him, he will fix the truck.
I enjoyed this book. Good characters and the story was easy to read and flowed well.
I received a free copy of this book and freely and honestly leave my review.
Dating a Cowgirl is a Christian, heartwarming romance. In this well written book, Faye agrees to teach Adam to ride horses and he agrees to not charge labor to fix Faye's mother's truck. The Callahans are against rodeos because of the injuries and deaths to the participants and the frequently cruel treatment of animals. I enjoyed watching the two struggle with falling in love and Adam's decision to ride a bronc at the rodeo as a bucket list item rather than to impress a different girl. I was very invested in how Ms. Dean managed to pull off an HEA for this couple.
This is a clean and sweet western romance with a cast of strong characters centering on Faye and Adam. They make a bargain together. He will fix her mom's truck for free and in return she will teach him to ride a horse to compete in the rodeo. It's an entertaining story, moves fluidly and is a great read. Loved and recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Faye and Adam have such a good story. He is the mechanic helping to fix her mother’s truck. Faye is a complicated young lady that is helping him learn to ride horses well enough to ride in a rodeo. They become closer and develop feelings the longer they work together. Faye doesn’t approve of Adam’s desire to participate in the rodeo. Will these two be able to make a relationship work?
Dating A Cowgirl is a complicated story. Take one Callahan girl and along with that you get her daddy Zeke and all her sisters and brothers in laws. If that has not scared you enough then maybe you will be able to keep up with the strange relationship that happens between Faye and Adam. It will surely keep you on your toes trying to keep up with who is dating who. It is a hard story to put down.
I received a advanced copy of this book for my review. I give this book a high 5 ✋✋✋✋✋.
Adam recognizes Faye when she barters to get her Mom's truck fixed. Something pulls at him, when she boldly asks for him to fix the truck for free. As they work out the details, their friendship turns into a relationship. Faye bargains with her father's rules to be allowed to date Adam. The father in these stories is a real piece of gruff cowboy work. The characters are well written and the plot falls naturally into place.
Nathalie Dean Dating a cow girl from Natalie Dean is a wel written clean western romance. It's a captivating story about finding a place in this world and the love of your life. And that's not easy when you have a lot of sisters and a controlling dad. This concept is making a wonderful sweet read withs is captivating to the end.
Another roller coaster ride with a Callahan girl, this time Faye. Adam runs the local mechanic shop, and Faye takes her mother's truck for an assessment. Riley (future in law) offers to pay for the parts, but the labor is costly. Adam proposes that Faye teach him to ride so he can enter the rodeo to impress Dahlia. Convoluted enough so far? Read on.
I enjoyed reading this book! The story was not what I anticipated from reading about Faye in other books in the series. She turned out to be just as strong in character as her sisters and just as stubborn!
The fifth book in the Callahans of Copper Creek series another great story in this series. I enjoyed seeing Faye and Adam with their ups and downs get a happy ending. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow did they ever have a Rocky start. Especially when you know what you want but not sure how the other one really felt. Oh yes Papa Bear had to have his day. Need to start reading now!!!!!!!!
Natalie Dean once again provides her readers with another delightful book. I don't like to give away the story but if you enjoy entertaining characters, intriguing storylines, and clean romance then this is a book for you!
Another great Callahan story! Loved reading Gate's story and happy she found the love of her life. She finds love with the mechanic who fixes her truck and he gets what he has been missing as well.
If you truly love someone never give up. The truth of their love is what many people go through everyday.. Stop trying to force people to be what you want. Allow them to be themselves. To love freely without boards it real love.
faye wants to get her mom;s truck fixed but has no money. adam is the mechanic and agrees to help fix the truck if she agrees to help him learn to ride a horse and enter the rodeo. if you like stories about relationships and friends you will enjoy reading the story i was given a copy of the book but this is an honest review
