Beau Reve, where sexual fantasies come alive.

Nina believed in compartmentalizing her life as much as possible. Strong-willed and independent, she always promised herself she would never depend on any man. The only problem with that mentality was that life could get pretty lonely.

Day in and day out, she put her nose to the grind, trying to work off her school loans by working for Phillip Wills, who was more handsome than any man had a right to be. Nina kept him at arm’s length, knowing he would only be a distraction from the path she set for herself.

Unbeknownst to her, Phillip’s eccentric mother has other plans for her. When the older woman sends her on an errand to bring Phillip his briefcase, she has no idea she will end up stranded on board an erotic ship filled with horny men ready to appease her every appetite. The only problem is only one man sparks her interest.

If Nina gives in to the desires hidden beneath the surface, she knows she will never be the same. Should she let him make her wildest fantasies come true, or would she run from the desire he awakens in her?

I loved this book. It had a great story line and very well written. The sex parts were great. I hate the books where, "they kissed madly and fell in bed. The next day ..." . I need details and Elissa Daye delivered. She had just the right mixture of sex/erotica/kink.
Phillip was mysterious as well as sexy. Nina was someone were all could relate to. Add a matchmaking mama and the merriment begins.
I can't wait for Elissa's next book.

Kinky ship that takes you to a Fantasy Island? Sign me up! Claimed is a steamy quick read that you’ll gobble up in one sitting. Nina is very likable and I think a lot of women will relate to her. She’s hard working, independent and knows what she wants. She just has a hard time admitting it to herself sometimes.

Spice level (1-5): 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
Kink level (1-3): ⛓️⛓️

Hard-working Nina works for Philip as his housekeeper. When she notices that Philip‘s mother, Norma, is neglected by the beautiful blondes hired to care for her, Nina takes it upon herself to befriend her. Norma is deadset on shipping Nina and Philip together that she schemes to do just that. She sends Nina on an errand only for Nina to get stranded on a kinky ship headed to a fantasy island with Philip. While on a luxurious ship with all expenses paid, can Nina let her guard down and allow Philip to show her the extent of his feelings? And can they go back to acting like nothing ever happened once they return?

I would recommend Claimed to anyone who wants a short kinky read. If you like boss/employee relationships, mischievous old women, kink, BDSM, fantasy islands, you’ll enjoy this book. No major trigger warnings. This does contain BDSM themes if that’s not your cup of tea, this book may not be for you. For all the BDSM readers, this one’s for you.

Warning: Reading Claimed may make you want to go to a fantasy island. May make you want to go on a kinky ship. May make you want to go exploring and find out what’s behind each door. May make you want to work as a housekeeper in hopes you’ll find a single gorgeous millionaire. May make you remember to be kind to old women. May make you think about your priorities. May make you more adventurous. May make you want to try new things in the bedroom. Read responsibly.

Although this is the 3rd book in the Beau Reve series and I haven’t read any of the others in this series I don’t feel that I missed anything. This book can be read as a standalone.

Nina is a housekeeper who is working so that she can pay to do her Masters degree. Her boss is a bit of a womaniser and always has other women around the house supposedly to care for his elderly mother but the only one whose needs they seem to tend to are his.

Nina takes a liking to her bosses mother Norma and checks on her through the day, spending time and getting to know her. Norma likes Nina and decides to meddle and play match maker with her son and Nina. They get stuck with each other and after lots of inner turmoil they lots of hot and steamy fun together but Nina can’t just do the no strings fun that Phillip wants and her feelings get involved.

Written in Nina’s POV there’s lots of inner dialogue as you see the character try to separate sex and her feelings - albeit rather unsuccessfully.

Nina is such a workaholic she hasn’t made any time to relax or have fun. Phillip is a workaholic but women seem to fill any time he wants. His mother becomes a matchmaker! Nina and Phillip have a strong sexual attraction that Nina has ignored. Orgasms and an emotional connection ensue once Nina lets her guard down.
Elissa tells a really great story with interesting characters, dialogue that gives the story depth, and a setting that’s gorgeous. Yummy!!.

Claimed is a sweet story about treating others and misconceptions.
It is a fun story and I enjoyed it. Everyone needs a trip to fantasy island. Can I sign up for that cruise?

A decent read

I liked the characters, Nina is principled and a little feisty, Philips mum is fab. Well written with some character exploration. A decent read.

Beau Reve is where fantasies come true…and Nina has no idea until she boards the boat and she is trapped with her boss Phillip. Phillip is the existential playboy with a different girl every week (and possibly a few mixed in for kicks). Both Phillip and Nina are workaholics but she is relegated to that of his housekeeper. As the cruise progresses Nina and Phillip develop feelings….and I can’t spoil the rest! Nina’s character is strong but wary of love and she must decide if taking a chance on Phillip is worth the heartbreak that it could lead to. Grab this standalone and then check out the rest of the series!
