When the ground split open, he threw himself into the chasm with me. But that was not because he wanted to save me…
Haisley A tribe of crazy cavemen wants to eat me. They’ve even put me in a pot and hung it over a fire. It’s a little much after I’ve been buried alive for the second time in two weeks and barely survived a terrible earthquake that tore the ground open. But that’s common on prehistoric planet Xren, where alien dinosaurs roam around and the mosquitoes are the size of seagulls. And if the jungle doesn’t kill you, the huge cavemen will. The only one who can help me is another caveman called Torant’ar. But he’s all tied up. And I don’t even know how much help he’d be. He got me into this situation in the first place, refusing to protect me in the jungle while pitching a ridiculous tent in his loincloth. I’m getting sweaty. The water in this pot is heating up fast. I have to get out of this on my own. I’m the first woman these guys have ever seen, and they’re clearly more aroused than hungry. So I think I know something that will work…
Torant’ar This demented, primitive tribe is about to eat my female. My female! Don’t they know I will murder them all if they touch a hair on her head? If only she would have let me follow my plan, this would not have happened. Now I’m tied up and can barely move. But if I get even the slightest chance, I’ll get her out of that pot, take her away from here and make her mine. Mine in every way. Caveman Alien's Call is part 17 of the Caveman Aliens series of science fiction romance stories. The books are complete stories, but should be read in order for maximum enjoyment.
Expect steamy scenes, mysterious aliens with features like adult toys, deadly planets and the love story between a girl from Earth and a sensationally hot alien caveman with hidden talents!
There’s another flourishing romance on the planet X’ren. As it’s become clear X’ren is vast and there can be numerous small tribes of women scattered all over the planet thanks to the Plood. Haisley is from a small tribe of women who’ve been stranded on the planet for about four years. Luckily the group finds themselves in a safe location and they have made a decent go at survival. Of course because this is the 17th book in the series there are some liberties taken in order to not be repetitive such as the women knowing what cavemanese is and how to communicate with the cavemen or how the cavemen know to build a forge and melt iron. I’m obsessed with this series and could care less about the minor details at this point especially when it’s clear the planet still harbors many secrets. Since the girls are clearly on the other side of the planet there’s also still some new species to be discovered, pretty much all deadly and terrifying as well as new geography. Luckily Haisley, who has the worst kind of luck, catches sight of a spotted caveman who rescues her just as her worst nightmares are coming true. Torant’ar and a few of his tribesmen abandon their home in order to start their very own tribe. Stumbling across the revered ‘woman’ who may also be an enemy Plood is not part of the plan but Haisley is up for the challenge in making this caveman her own. Like his brethren Torant’ar is dense and even blind at times but he comes to his senses in the end.
I’m always excited when I see this author has a new book and I’m so happy we’re back on planet XREN with the caveman aliens! The world building and plot-driven romance is excellent and I’m always lost in this authors imagination.
I freakin loved this one—I loved that the heroine slowly came into her own, that she wasn’t afraid to be scared of a foreign planet where everything was out to kill her and she was strong enough—and smart enough—to realize that the hero had skills to protect her and she seized them. But in finding a space with the hero that offered her peace and safety, she was able to grow and find her own strength. It was a beautiful story. My only complaint was that I wish it was more explicitly stated if the h was a virgin, since the hero had never been with anyone and I wish he was given the knowledge that she was his and his alone. I also would have liked a longer epilogue, maybe with the h preggers, becuse I love babies, dammit!
Safe. Hero is a virgin. And it’s sorta vaguely implied the heroine is too. No others, no cheating or sharing or abuse. HEA but the epilogue is only a month out and no babies.
Back to the universes most dangerous planet - X’ren. When the local wildlife isn't trying to eat them, the male inhabitants are trying to *worship* their newly found female neighbours!
Haisley hates Xren with a passion. It's tried to kill her and her friends several times over the last few years. They now have some muscle in the shape of Krank, the caveman husband of one her friends but these plucky Earthlings really want to be self sufficient. Which leads to Haisley getting sucked into the ground - again!
This time she's not alone and her super friendly rescuer is very determined to ensure that every inch of her is unharmed. But as they try to survive this new adventure, they are both determined to return to their respective villages. So feelings are going to get hurt and hearts broken when they both start to wonder what life would be like if they decided to stay together!
Are their liberties taken as to how the girls all know Cavemanese, how to live in the jungle and so on? Yes. Do I care? NO. Just switch of the logical brain and go with the adventure. Haisley and her spotted hunk are sweetly naïve and innocent together. He may know the theory from the Shaman but that man has tricks down his loincloth LOL.
I thought Torant’ar got a bit of a raw deal from his fellow rebellious tribesmen but i get that they weren't expecting him to fall in love!
So exciting! Haisley seems to be a magnet for terrifying situations! She certainly encounters quite a few. It’s her good fortune that Torant’ar is around to rescue her. She is bright, inquisitive, and quickly learns needed skills. All these things Torant’ar helps with build her confidence. I love seeing these two warm up to each other, and their romance blossom into something truly life-changing! It is a rocky path to travel, though, with many adventures on the way. I encourage you to read their story; it’s fantastic!
We have new women on Xren. Well not new but separate from our Science girls. Of course with new women we have new tribes to meet as well. Some good and some bad. This is a great love story. Its filled with their amazing journey. Lots of twists and turns, lots of loving and they meet a new "entity" for them. Don't want to give it away. Read to find out. This is actually the 2nd book in this part of the series. Book 16 is a total 5 Star too. Start with that one or better yet with book 1. Kathy
I bought this book on a whim, and what a pleasant surprise it was.She was abducted and is learning to survive in a jungle where everything wants to kill her and than she mets the sexy caveman, who saves her life.A great love story full of aventure, passion, troubles in their path and steam, lots of steam.I loved it !
So many firsts in this series and of course love is in the air. Haisly is out hunting with her now when an earthquake sends her down a cliff in a mudslide but a beautiful golden haired caveman slides after her and saves her. Then a Dragon slips into the mix.
I can't wait to read the next book, if there is, in this series. Its just a fun series. I enjoy finding out what happens in another part of the planet Xren. Different animals and different people.
I've lost track of what's happening on Xren. I was confused for a bit & then just went with it. The characters are still great. The situations are still interesting. The sex is still impressive. I still love this series.
Tarant'ar rescues Haisley from a hole opening from an earthquake. Then they are on their own through the jungle trying to find their way home. There are many pitfalls along the way. His tribe and hers. Enjoy
The story was wonderful and I liked that it was exciting, humor, villian, and holds your attention from beginning to end. I recommend this book to anyone that likes a romance that's hot with sexy scenes and awesome characters.
The series just keeps getting better. This is Haisley and Torant’ar’s story. Survival on this planet is harsh and each women demonstrates how strong they really are. Their growth is amazing and at times funny.
So I was going to give this book a four because it is a good book but not a five star, until the last three chapters. Those chapters were great and bumped this book up to a five star. It gave me the happy feels.
