Oh my goodness This book!! I love it so much!!! Especially when the hero is a stalker and SOOOO VERY EXTREMELY PROTECTIVE AND OVER THE TOP POSSESSIVE ALPHA MALE TO THE HEROINE ONLY❤️❤️❤️❤️ And i love it when the story starts with just them, begins with them gonna be a couple. Not with other people at the moment, argh i hate those lol. Especially the beginning of the book is the hero’s POV and he started with saying “I was awoken by an angel” 🥺🥺😍 And yes that is for the heroine… From the beginning till the end of the book its very romantic and very intense 😏
From the previous books, i can see how the hero really EXTREMELY OBSESSED WITH THE HEROINE IN A WHOLE ANOTHER LEVEL… Not creepy tho in my opinion 😅 So don’t worry! Like it was so hot to see that😝 So i got so curious and waited for this book! And IT WAS WORTH IT!!

This is a dark romance but the dark in my opinion is from the hero side… Their love story is just not normal… But normal is overrated😋

The story starts with the hero already is stalking the heroine in a whole another level… They’re in the same university and even in the same major and class. The hero even go to the same class often because of the heroine… He said that since two months ago he saw the heroine for the first time in class, he began to stalk her and wanting her and obsessed with her… But also at the same time he wants to kill her because she made him that way, that she made him obsessed with her… (Which in the end we get to read that the hero will never ever do that! It was his psychopath thoughts. Because he also was soo scared to see the heroine hurt). The hero even already got a tattoo of the heroine when he first saw her🥺 One day like two months later, the hero saw someone tries to sit and talked to the heroine. Some random guy. He immediately take a picture of the guy and scan to his computer about who he is. He got it and immediately after class the hero grabs the guy and punch him! The hero says to the guy to never ever sit next to the heroine and talks to her. And during this time, the hero never ever made his appearance known to the heroine… He never even text her… He likes to be hidden and be a secret to her. One day his lovely family and father came to see him and says to him that he should make a move… Then one night the heroine go out with her best friend and some guy tries to flirt with her, the hero of course saw it and for the first time texted her… Since that text and then phone call, the heroine remembered his voice. So when they meet and the heroine hear his voice, she immediately knows who he is….

My favorite part is that the hero is very close to his family. Family from both side of his parents. They have such a close and great relationship🥺 The hero is close to his parents and especially he is very afraid of his mother. When his mother ordering him around, he always listened😆 So even tho he is this bad stalker guy, to his family and even parents, he let them lecture him and let them to his place anytime they want. The hero likes to send the heroine flowers after he texted her for the first time, he made a tattoo of her to his chest, he stalker things is very wow but romantic tho😁😋 He puts cameras to each part of her apartment, he checks on that camera every single day and every single minute and even have it on his office! He have pictures like MANY MANY pictures of the heroine he takes on his room, he put those pictures on his wall! He have a tracker on her phone, he have a tracker on her car, he always listened and hear anything that is happening to the heroine’s cell phone. Every convo she have with anyone, any social media and any messages she is doing the hero knows about it all. He checks on her every single day… He also since the first time he stalk her, he lets himself into the heroine’s apartment when the heroine is sleeping. And he could sit and watch the heroine sleeping for hours… Sometimes he jerk off and sometimes he just likes to watch the heroine sleeping… The hero’s passcode to every single thing he have like cell phone, house code and even bank codes, ALL UNDER THE HEROINE’S NAME AND THE HEROINE’S BIRTHDAY… When the heroine ask about internet banking passcode, he immediately answered and did not hesitate to tell her🥺 He likes to steal the heroine’s panties a lot, he likes to hurt and yes you will see her a couple of times that the hero will hurt anyone who touch or talk to the heroine in a flirting way! He checks on her every single day… He also since the first time he stalk her, he lets himself into the heroine’s apartment when the heroine is sleeping. She even enrolled herself in a self defense class, cuz she's so scared she wanted to protect herself against her stalker. Yet, she exchanged texts and calls to this stalker (she didn't know it was Dom at first) and twice they did have sexy times over the phone.
Then they met officially in an event and she immediately recognized his voice. Since the secret is out, Dom started to get in her personal space every chance he gets. He's unhinged, even his family were always telling him to tone it down. I think Dom is a psychopath and he's really crazy for doing the things he did in this book. But he got it so bad for Lucy, and he couldn't control his urges when it comes to her "little bee", it was really freaking creepy but sweet at the same time.
Lucy was scared of his tendencies at times, but she was so attracted to Dom and with all the skillful things he does to her. They've become a couple eventually and nothing would stop them from getting together.
Overall, the story got me hooked, and I really enjoyed it. I will quickly start the second book, since I'm not a fan of cliffhangers. I need to know what would happen to them, and how everything will unfold.
Ending: They were on their way to the date planned by Dom but the plane had technical problems resulting in its crashing. At the start of the second book, Lucy finally woke up after 2 weeks in coma and she doesn't remember the last two months.

Tho there are a lotttt of characters (I believe they have their own books but I haven’t read them) but anyways it wasn’t confusing, instead they were kinda hilarious and fun to read (it’s mainly Dom’s overly large family) 😂😭

Dominic McKinley is obsessed. He’s completely, deliciously obsessed with Lucy Christianson. This is red flag fucking central because Dom is a bit of a psychopath. He stalks Lucy, puts cameras in her house, tracks her phone AND her car. He stops other men from talking to her, dating her, touching her… permanently. But!!! He’s afraid to get too close to her himself because of his psychopathic tendencies. At first he’s excited at the thought of her pain, the thought of her dead makes him hard. He would love nothing more than to wrap his hands around her neck and see the light slowly leave her eyes. Partly because Dom is addicted to pain, but partly for her making him lose his fucking mind.
“The only place left for me is hell, because I’m about to fucking destroy heaven.”
As Dom gets closer to Lucy, and finally talks to her, touches her, kisses her, he slowly starts to change his tune… just a little, because, hey, he’s a goddamn lunatic. Dom realizes that if he kills Lucy, sure, other guys won’t be able to have her, but then he’ll never be able to touch her either. So he restrains himself. He goes against his instincts and he gets closer to her, hearing her voice, hearing her thoughts, kissing her, owning her body… and boy, can Dom throw DOWN in the bedroom!!!

Lucy knows that there’s something terribly wrong with Dom. She should be angry at his stalking ways, terrified with his desire to kill her, disgusted with his obsession. But her body craves him. Her mind is stimulated by him. Her world is violently vibrant with him. Her heart…

I love these two characters. I’M obsessed with Dom’s love style!!! This is what I look for in my Hero, and I’m so happy to have found it. And Lucy!! Lucy is exactly what Dom needs. She’s a perfect match for him and I think book two is really going to hit home with how perfect she is. I can’t wait to see how she pulls Dom’s love from him, his tender side, because it’s there!!

this was…bad.
there was virtually no plot. it felt like the author read a bunch of stalker romance books and just took events from them to shove them into this story. there was zero originality in plot and characters and literally nothing to keep me invested. genuinely, NOTHING happened in this book. how did they even become a “couple”?? it just appeared out of no where. these characters were so bland and nothing they said or did ever made sense.
also having false rape allegations as a flimsy 3 chapter story line that served pretty much no purpose (just like everything else that happened in this book) is incredibly gross.
in conclusion: we need to ban dark romances with rich guys because 90% of the time it ruins any chance of a decent plot. where are my middle class stalkers??

Both come from very rich families and are trust fund babies. He is stalking Lucy and will literally kill anyone who touches her. This book has an unhinged obsessive mmc and a stubborn sassy fmc. When they give into their desires there's a lot of heat.
Unhinged Desires feels like the foundations of an epic love story filled with control and consuming need. This isn't very dark romance though but it was amazing, it ends on cliffhanger though. And thank god the heroine is not a virgin.

You are going to love and curse Kylie Kent for this book. Dominic McKinley is one hell of a leading man and if you’ve read the McKinley Ranch Duet with his Uncle Josh, I’m here to tell you that Dominic steals his crown.
This book is everything I wanted it to be and more. Dominic is more creepy stalker than romantic man, but his absolute adoration and obsession over Lucy is intoxicating.
Lucy doesn’t let Dominic walk all over her though. Don’t get me wrong he gets his way but Lucy makes him work for it. She’s smart, feisty and holds her own in most situations.
The two together set this book on fire and I am dying for the next book in the duet. I’m going to tell you now that cliffhanger will kill you but it’s worth it and the pain I am suffering through now waiting for book two.
This book was a one sitting read for me but at about 80% I forced myself to put it down because I knew the ending and the cliffhanger were coming and I wasn’t ready for it to end. But I couldn’t hold out for long, I needed more of Dominic and Lucy.
The parents may have been first in Kylie’s world but their kids are taking their titles from them and I can’t wait to reread from the very beginning.

As his family learn about his fascination with Lucy even they try to help him battle past the point of keeping his distance. Lucy is his and it’s time she found out just what that means.

This book was a big fat NO for me. It was unhinged, but not in a good way at all.
I've different issues with this book. One being, there's literally nothing happening at all. During the first 40ish percent of the book the characters don't even know each other and don't meet, like...how can this even be a romance!? The plot feels like nothing. I was bored during the most part of the book and started skimming after 42 percent.
The stalking 'plot' didn't make sense at all. It felt like this book was build out of nothing just to people please. Just throw the word 'stalking' in and the author thought it would be done.
My third point is, the characters made no sense at all. I didn't have a connection with them and it didn't feel like I knew them at all. We barely got introduced to them and didn't get to know them. For example, I've no clue what their hobbies are, etc. I just couldn't connect with them and for me that's the most important thing while reading a book. I want to understand them and feel what they feel...and during this book I just couldn't.
Fourth, the pacing of the book wasn't it. One moment it was super slow, like boring slow, and the next the characters were together and having sex!? It just didn't make sense...
So yeah, my conclusion is...not a book for me and no, I didn't like it. I should've dnf'd and I definitely won't be continuing this duet. I couldn't care less.

I have been waiting for Dominic and Lucy’s book. I’m so glad that its here and I have the privilege to ARC read for it. This book is utter stalker perfection. Dom is so obsessed with Lucy and stalks her with shear perfection. Dom has to battle with himself in various ways in order to have and keep Lucy, and that includes of disposing of anyone that looks, touches or speaks to her. Unhinged Desires is the perfect title for this book because Dom is unhinged in the best ways possible. Lucy and Dom’s story is so amazing. I love seeing how far Dom would go for Lucy and loved seeing how far Lucy would go with Dom. This book is filled with all the good feels and a bit of emotions too. You get to see not only the good things that have and are happening but you also get to the struggles that happen as well. Dom and Lucy’s relationship is perfect for those two, but Lucy doesn’t make it easy. She makes Dom work for the title of boyfriend and I absolutely love it. This is book 1 in the Duet and even going into this book knowing that I did not expect that cliff hanger to be so huge… Kylie what are you doing to me ma’am. I can not wait for the 2nd book in this duet to come out cause I need to know what is going on. Yes I cried at the end of this book.

The heroine in the first half is shown to be terrified of who could be stalking her and goes through some measures to feel safe. However, when she discovers who her stalker is you would expect her to hold a grudge and be scared of what he is capable of. It pulls me out of the story when she immediately seems to accept his advances onto her.
As for the plot, there wasn’t any there other than him tracking her going from shopping sprees, hanging out with her bsf, and going to school. It got really boring and repetitive. I needed some conflict.

Finally! After seeing bits and pieces of their story in other books I love how we finally get to see the full story.
Lulu definitely seems a bit broken but not sure as to why. While Dominic seems to be the one putting her back together she has a hard time accepting this reality.
This book end I a cliffhanger but lucky book 2 is just one click away now :)

Damn Dominic literally keeping guys from Lucy for two months. I love the blue tulips and how he told her he got them because they "represent things that are one of a kind." Like she is. Wow the way she found out who he is was perfect. Oh my gosh Little Bee is such a cute nickname even with what the meaning is to him. They are so hot together. Holy shit that cliffhanger!!!

I ate this book UP! The spice, the dark romance, oooh I was here for all of it!! This was such a quick, easy read, and I loved every second of it. Lucy and Dominic’s relationship moved fast, but I really enjoyed reading about them. The intensity, chemistry, and drama had me hooked, and I can’t wait to dive into book 2 to see where their story goes next!

This was a fun read although I do find myself questioning wtf that ending was. Also, this did not read like all the characters were Australian - so strange.
