This is an enjoyable book about Joanna, a widow who finds out that she is pregnant with her deceased husband's child. She is staying with her Aunt Rachel and her friend, Serena, who adopted an abandoned baby. Joanna is friends with Jon, a lawman, but she is afraid he won't want her when she finds out she is pregnant. There is a lot of suspense with a bandit trying to kidnap Joanna and Jon trying to catch the bandit and his gang. This is the third book in this series and the surprise ending is a great ending. I recommend this clean romantic suspense. I received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.

I will never understand why a widow was made to feel ashamed that she was pregnant when her husband died. That is when they would need the most support. Joanna almost made herself worrying about finding herself expecting. Marshall Jon doesn’t really understand either, especially since he doesn’t care. We are finally given answers to the questions we have wanted from the beginning f this series. I have enjoyed all three books.

When Will the Baby Arrive?

That is the premise of the whole book. That and the paternity of the baby and where the baby will be born and where it will be living after birth. I liked this book and the conflicts presented but was very happy when it was over.

Suspense involved

This was a good read except that there was too much suspense involved with the characters. I liked the ending when all the ladies got together.

A good second book in a series that actually reads like a book I have read before.

Great books

This series was great, full of action and suspense, along with the romance. Definitely a surprising ending. Will be looking for more.
