"A man will come to change the fate of the clans and the kingdoms. He will come from an unimaginable distance and live his life in the life of another." PROPHECY OF THE ANCIENTS
Raymond Clark just wanted to get home after a long day of meetings about water management of the Columbia River. A pounding rain, an errant deer, and destiny sent his new car careening off the road and Raymond into darkness.
Raymond awakens in a medieval castle with a severe head injury. Slowly, as he recovers, he begins to accept a new reality in the body of a man half his age; a prince with deep blue eyes who is bound to an arranged marriage. A mumbling steward and the brilliant ex-Chancellor of the realm support him in his recovery; both dedicated to protecting the young prince's life from dangers - known and unknown.
OTHERS WANT HIM DEAD!
Armed with his knowledge from the twenty-first century, he must negotiate this dark and dangerous medieval world, where he is more of an outsider than anyone knows.
Fantastic read! The story is super engaging, the character development is outstanding, the descriptive language for the setting of the story is vivid and powerful, and the plot twists keep you guessing! I actually read all three books in the series in a week because I couldn't put them down. If you are looking for action and adventure with a little romance mixed in that is creative and has some well-timed humor in it, these books will deliver. I would highly recommend them.
Totally drawn into the story from the first chapter! What a story of mystery, intrigue, romance and compass - read the entire first book in a day - look forward to the next two!
I can’t wait to read book 2! A fun plot line that takes a modern man back in time. There’s royal politics, romance, and action. The characters are relatable and likable (or detested in the case of the villains). Definitely recommend!
