Sono tornato indietro, sono di nuovo nel posto in cui tutto è cominciato e dove qualcun altro ha messo la parola fine. L’ho fatto solo per amore della mia famiglia.
Sto cercando di ricostruirmi una vita, di restare in piedi anche se le gambe mi fanno un male cane.
Sono concentrato su me stesso, sulla mia carriera. Sono pronto a fare a pezzi tutto pur di non crollare. A odiare, senza sensi di colpa, perché odiare gli altri è l’unico modo che conosco per sopravvivere a me e a ciò che sono.
E ci stavo riuscendo. Ero forte. Ero intoccabile. Ero invincibile.
Ero solo un illuso.
Non avevo messo in conto tutto. Non avevo messo in conto lei.
L’unica donna che vorrei davvero odiare ma che continua a farmi sperare. Una donna che mette sottosopra il tuo mondo e che s’infila nella tua vita solo se può restare anche domani.
Ma io non cerco un domani, non lo voglio un futuro.
Non ci credo più.
E non posso tornare a farlo, neanche per lei.

Devo ammettere che ero partita un po' prevenuta dopo la lettura del primo.
non perché fosse scritto male ma perché per me era risultato troppo "cervellotico" troppo psicologico, troppo introspettivo.
Sinceramente tendo a sfasarmi con le letture simili.
Ma è un mio limite.
Questo invece l'ho trovato molto scorrevole, serio ma a tratti divertente e anche umoristico.
Mi è piaciuta la protagonista femminile, ed è raro, e mi è piaciuto il contorno.
Anche Ian , che nel primo non avevo retto troppo, insieme alla consorte, in questo si è rivelato molto leggero e divertente.
Son rimasta molto soddisfatta e spero che il terzo mantenga lo stesso stile di leggerezza condito con una buona dose si skecth familiari

Ci sono certi libri che si ha paura di leggerli perché la paura di rimanere delusa è più forte del piacere di leggerli. Devo ammettere che prima di iniziare Ryan avevo molta molta paura. Temevo di trovare una storia ripetuta di non emozionarmi più e di annoiarmi. Ma per fortuna AS Kelly ha completamente annullato tutti i miei timori scrivendo una storia molto emozionante.
I due protagonisti Ryan e Christine sono in assoluto i miei due preferiti di tutti i romanzi di AS Kelly. Lei perché è una trentenne forte e coraggiosa che si è fatta da se, un'imprenditrice, una madre, una donna è single completamente autosufficiente. Lui perché nonostante le sue insicurezze il suo trascorso riesci a crescere e ad essere un vero uomo, dimostrando i suoi sentimenti verso la famiglia e verso Christine. È stato un piacere poi scoprire, qual era il problema tra Nick e Ryan e vedere come l'hanno affrontato. È stato bellissimo ritrovare la famiglia O'Connor sempre più unita grazie anche al collante Ian. Ma la cosa che ho apprezzato più di tutto e come è stato scritto questo libro, ho notato una crescita stilistica molto forte rispetto al precedente lavoro. Sono convinta che AS Kelly abbia fatto tesoro di tutte le recensioni di Ian, per crescere e migliorarsi nella storia di Ryan. E come sempre è riuscita a farmi emozionare, ma questa volta facendomi provare qualcosa di più intenso.

Ryan by A.S. Kelly is the second book in The O’Connor Brothers Series that I listened to on audio narrated by Ashley Taylor and Daniel Knight.
All I can say is Wow! A.S. Kelly takes you through an emotional roller coaster with Ryan and Christine. Ryan’s speech had me smiling and crying at the same time. I absolutely loved their story. I cannot wait for the next book in the series Nick to be released on audible.
Ashley and Daniel did an amazing job! This is the second time I have heard two narrators work together on one chapter and I absolutely love it.

Inizio col dire che adoro ogni libro di questa autrice, nelle sue storie c'è sempre tanta quotidianità, problemi e situazioni che ti fanno pensare che non solo casa tua è piena di matti😄 che ti porta ad amare i suoi personaggi come parte della tua famiglia, come in questo caso.
Ryan è il piccolo dei fratelli O'Connor, scontroso, un po' misogino e strafottente, un tipo tutto d'un pezzo....di marmo..."capirete durante la lettura"....ha il cuore infranto e ha deciso che nessuna sarà in grado di aggiustarlo e neanche lo vuole, ma poi solleva gli occhi e Chris è li che lui lo voglia o no......Chris donna stupenda, forte, sfortunata con un figlio a dir poco favoloso...gli eventi li avvicineranno e li separeranno...per colpa di Ryan logicamente,questo ragazzone che ogni tanto ti fa venir voglia di prenderlo per le spalle e scuoterlo finché il sangue non gli arrivi al cervello e cominci a farlo ragionare e a fargli capire che lei è "la sua persona".....di contorno alla coppia principale ruotano una serie di personaggi stupendi ed interessanti degni di avere spero in futuro un libro a loro dedicato😍😍😍..........Cara la mia AS Kelly chi vuol intendere...è a metà dell'opera 😎😎😎....CONSIGLIATISSIMO.

I have to say that this is an amazing story. I did not read book one which is Ian's story but the O'Connor brothers are amazing and when they love they love hard. This book some time for Ryan the second brother to fall in love because he was such an angry guy. He hated everything and everyone and was always in a grumpy mood but when he started to come out of his shell he was a changed man.
Ryan meets Christine but he keeps her at arms length and she is determined to break his angry ways. She has her son that she had with another man who did not want a relationship with Christine so she picked up her broken heart and moved on.
Then she meets Ryan and she falls for him and she is determined to win his heart and the more time she spends with his family the more Ryan falls for her and her son. But Can Ryan let go of his anger to fall in love?

Ryan è scontroso, arrogante, solitario, tratta tutti con rabbia e indifferenza. C'è qualcosa che lo ha scosso così tanto da non permettergli di essere se stesso, ma l'ombra di ciò che era. Allontana tutti. Non vuole nessuno accanto a se, nonostante la sua famiglia sia opprimente e cerchi in tutti i modi di farlo tornare in se.
"Ryan O'Connor è un dio greco. Marmo puro. Tutta durezza e strafottenza. Ha un pessimo carattere, è acido e scontroso, ma ha degli addominali da urlo e delle mani enormi che fanno correre la fantasia verso un mondo di perdizione da cui non c'è ritorno. Si è presentato qui, mi ha aiutata; poi si è avvicinato ed io ho creduto che..."
Lei è Christine, per gli amici Chris, ha un figlio adolescente, Evan. Lui è la sua vita, cerca sempre di metterlo avanti a tutto e tutti. Conosceremo anche Martin, il padre, che nonostante tutto cercherà di stargli accanto. Ma a volte la sua presenza è ingombrante, la fa illudere di poter avere una vera famiglia come lei ha sempre sognato, ma è impossibile. È riuscita a realizzare un suo sogno: gestire un locale tutto suo. Spesso gli O'Connor lo frequentano ed essendo ritornati, Ryan e Nick lo scoprono per la prima volta.
Il loro primo incontro avviene nel locale di Christine, ma, ahimé, non sarà rose e fiori, anzi lui si mostrerà maleducato e scontroso tanto da scatenare la sua ira. Ma c'è qualcosa nell'aria...
Lui, però, cerca di ignorarla, ma suo malgrado se la ritrova sulla sua strada, non riesce a togliersela di torno, sopratutto dopo che ha aiutato il suo papà in un momento di difficoltà. La sua famiglia la adora, la trattano come una di casa. In lui cresce la rabbia, perché sa che si sente attratto da lei, ma non può averla, lui non può amare.
Al contrario, Christine cerca stabilità, poiché dopo anni di avventure finite male non può permettersi di soffrire ancora e gettarsi tra le braccia di Martin, sempre pronto a consolarla. Lei ha bisogno di qualcuno che resti la mattina dopo e non scappi a gambe levate.
"Lei non chiede ed io non rispondo. Siamo entrambi soli, ma siamo soli insieme. Ed è irrazionale. Eppure mi piace. E' confortante, intimo. E cosa ancora più inaspettata di tutte, non mi infastidisce né mi fa paura".
La storia inizialmente procede con loro che per cause esterne si ritrovano faccia a faccia, e scorrendo le pagine percepisci la crescita della loro attrazione e di come arriverà al punto che entrambi non potranno più contrastarla. Si lasceranno travolgere da questa passione inattesa e non voluta: lui per il suo passato e lei per l'incredulità che un rugbista tutto muscoli possa interessarsi ad una come lei. Ci saranno scene altamente erotiche che vi faranno sognare, ma ad un certo punto odierete Ryan per la sua paura, perché lui non riesce ad affrontare la situazione e la cosa più semplice è scappare, far soffrire la persona a cui tiene. Una cosa che gli riesce facilmente, ma Christine lo blocca, facendolo uscire dalla sua vita. Non può permettersi di nuovo un cuore spezzato e sceglie di non averlo nella sua vita. Cosa farà Ryan? Sarà in grado di dimostrarle la sua maturità e riuscirà a gettarsi alle spalle il suo passato ingombrante?
Questi ed altri gli interrogativi che vi porrete leggendo questa speciale storia, fatta di alti e bassi, momenti romantici, ma anche attimi in cui il loro orgoglio prevarrà. Si scontreranno, si ameranno, si annienteranno, ma alla fine vi lasceranno con un grande sorriso sulle labbra.
Ritroveremo i fratelli O'Connor, Riley, prossima al parto, e conosceremo nuovi personaggi come Martin ed Evan che sarà molto presente nelle loro vite ed, anzi, si mostrerà spesso più maturo della sua età.

Ryan by A. S. Kelly is book Two in the O'Connor Brothers Series. This is the story of Ryan and Christine 'Chris'. I have read the previous book but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do this.
Ryan has a chip on his shoulder which is causing him to hate most everything and anyone. Ryan's attitude is keeping him from being a part of his family. Even when he first meets Chris his anger keeps him from seeing her and any feelings he might have. Chris is a single mother who has a Cafe that she owes and works hard at. So Ryan's attitude isn't one she wants to put up with. Ryan and Chris both has issues and both started to feel that the other helped with their feelings. Ryan had the biggest part to over come which made this book a page turner for me.

Ryan è un ragazzo insicuro , volubile, sofferente. Christine è una giovane madre, autonoma, che si è rimboccata le maniche e si è inventata un lavoro, donna tosta e forte. Qui l'autrice ha fatto un ottimo lavoro di introspezione del personaggio maschile, infatti la storia risulta seriosa ma coinvolgente. Si scopriranno le motivazioni dell' allontanamento di Ryan da suo fratello Nick, in parte dettate da un grosso equivoco. Anche la figura di Ian appare in questo libro, più alleggerita e allegra

Bellissimo! A.S. Kelly è una sicurezza e l'ha dimostrato ampiamente anche con questa bellissima storia! Ryan e Christine non potrebbero essere più diversi, eppure qualcuno o qualcosa dimostra loro il contrario. Un romanzo che entra nel cuore fin dalle prime pagine e, le peripezie della famiglia O'Connor - i battibecchi dei tre fratelli - il senso di protezione ed aiuto che essa sprigiona, ce lo faranno tremare. Una nota di merito a Evan, il nostro piccolo grande uomo.

This is the second book in this fascinating series, and is Ryan and Christine’s story. Ryan is harbouring a lot of anger and resentment, and Christine is a strong yet vulnerable woman, and together they heal each other and are perfect for one another. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a beautifully written story which had me enthralled throughout, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I recommend.

I thought that Ryan was a lot more relatable then Ian. I understood where he was coming from with the anger an the resentment that he had. Christine is the perfect girl for Ryan. Did she have a perfect life? No but nobody does. She was able to come out on top with all that she had been through. Even with all the things that they have both been though, they were able to help one another and learn to love themselves.
I’m loving the bothers I cant wait to see what happens in the next one.

This book was so good. It was heartbreaking and full of hope and love. I could not put this book down. I really liked Ryan he had so much guilt and no self worth. Hopefully love can fix that. Loved this book.

Ryan is betrayed by the love of his life and his brother. He swears off love. He also decides not to get close to anybody. He chooses to be an asshole over letting anybody else in. That is until he meets Christina. Christina is a single mom who owns a cafe. She is passionate about what she does and loves the people in her life.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. I love when books have characters do a complete personality change. It makes the book worth reading. If I said this was a favorite book or that I'd be rereading it, that would be a lie. There wasn't really anything I didn't like about it too much. Well, nothing that was worth ranting over.
The characters are where I really wasn't fully in love with. I didn't really have any connection with either of the two main leads. It got a bit frustrating hearing them sometimes. I mean I guess that's the point sometimes. You have to hate them in order to love their transformation. I also recognize that this is a personal opinion and not an actual reflection on the characters.
I really liked the narrators. Their voices were just so authentic to the narrative. I wish I could remember their names to add to the review. I believe they did the narration from the first book as well. I was kind of intrigued by a word they kept adding an e at the end of. I'd never heard it with that pronunciation before. It was a nice change though.

Ogni libro di questa incredibile scrittrice ti fa provare emozioni UNICHE! Ryan e Chris ti travolgono con sentimenti contrastanti dall'inizio alla fine, ma non puoi non amarli e soprattutto, pagina dopo pagina, desiderare di scoprire come andrà a finire. La peculiarità di questa scrittrice è di rendere straordinario e indispensabile ogni personaggio, anche quelli secondari, che viene descritto con cura e che, inevitabilmente, ti coinvolge e ti spinge a saperne di più. Vi consiglio di leggere prima "Ian: O'Connor Brothers", il primo di questa serie, perché anche se sono entrambi autoconclusivi ci sono presenti dettagli e sfumature per capire meglio la storia e ogni personaggio presente in entrambi i libri.

Romance and Fantasy for Cosmopolitan Girls
Ryan o non Ryan ( nel mio caso Ryan o non Aaron, questo è il dilemma).
Nuovo appuntamento firmato AS Kelly e questa volta, protagonista indiscusso della scena sarà Ryan.
Dopo il successo ottenuto con Ian, eccoci servito il fratello tormentato degli O'Connor.
Il motivo? Non starà a me svelarlo.
Avere ventotto anni e sentirsi sulle spalle il peso di una vita, non fa che rendere Ryan ciò che è divenuto, il fantasma di ciò che era un tempo: amareggiato, pronto a ottenere ciò che vuole per poi andarsene, incurante di ciò che pensa la gente di lui. Un giro sul Ryan express? Non c'è problema, lui sarà pronto ad accontentare qualsiasi donna regalandole una notte di fuoco ma sicuro come l'oro non farà mai più promesse, non si metterà mai più in gioco ne, tantomeno, regalerà mai più quel piccolo, patetico organo (cosa state capendo, il suo cuore!) ad una donna. Non importa nemmeno se quella stessa sarà capace di rivoltargli il mondo senza che se ne renda conto.
Hai idea di come ci si sente, Ian?
Farsi strappare il cuore dal petto e stare a guardare mentre qualcuno lo calpesta con forza.
Vedere il sangue schizzare,
vederlo smettere lentamente di pulsare.
Vedere la tua vita, i tuoi sogni, il tuo futuro spegnersi davanti ai tuoi occhi…
Per Christine il piccolo O'Connor non le sembra altro che un arrogante, maleducato uomo che tratta le persone con un distacco tale da farle sentire come se non fossero altro che minuscoli insetti. O almeno, è così che si sente lei quando lui è nei paraggi. Il loro incontro non è stato dei migliori, o almeno non il primo, facendola sentire come se fosse una miserabile.
Vogliamo poi parlare del secondo incontro? O del terzo? Sembra che quando loro due si incontrano/scontrano, due mondi vengano a contatto e l'unico modo per evitare la catastrofe, o almeno per Ryan, è ferire Chris.
Eppure il suo profumo inizia a darmi alla testa,
come tre o quattro bicchieri di whisky,
come se cercasse d’intossicarmi, di confondermi,
di trascinarmi verso qualcosa d’inadatto e pericoloso,
a cui non dovrei avvicinarmi neanche per sbaglio.
Come se creasse dipendenza.
Sotto sotto, però non si può negare il fatto che quando Christine è vicino a Ryan ha il cuore a mille mentre l'altro sembra solo pensare a quanto sia attraente.
Un bacio mancato renderà la situazione più chiara ( e forse più confusa) per entrambi.
Vale la pena rimettersi in gioco quando si ha già sofferto così tanto? Risentirsi come se ogni parte di noi stessi si sentisse "a casa" soltanto quando l'altra persona ci è accanto, rendendola la padrona della propria felicità?
Baciare Christine è come cadere
e rialzarsi cento volte
e ogni volta che ti rimetti in piedi,
ti senti più forte.

a respirare di nuovo.
Come aprire gli occhi per la prima volta

Sincera fino in fondo? Dopo Aaron, Ian non era riuscito a toccare le corde giuste con me, ma Ryan? Ha fatto cantare il mio cuore come solo Aaron c'era riuscito, facendomi entrare in una bolla che è scoppiata solo quando ho letto i ringraziamenti alla fine dell'opera.
Non c'è nulla di scontato in questo romanzo, se non quanto sia incasinato il nostro bellissimo uomo però chi non lo sarebbe, dopo essere stato tradito dalle persone che ritenevi più importanti?

Ryan o non Ryan ( nel mio caso Ryan o non Aaron, questo è il dilemma).
Nuovo appuntamento firmato AS Kelly e questa volta, protagonista indiscusso della scena sarà Ryan.
Dopo il successo ottenuto con Ian, eccoci servito il fratello tormentato degli O'Connor.
Il motivo? Non starà a me svelarlo.
Avere ventotto anni e sentirsi sulle spalle il peso di una vita, non fa che rendere Ryan ciò che è divenuto, il fantasma di ciò che era un tempo: amareggiato, pronto a ottenere ciò che vuole per poi andarsene, incurante di ciò che pensa la gente di lui. Un giro sul Ryan express? Non c'è problema, lui sarà pronto ad accontentare qualsiasi donna regalandole una notte di fuoco ma sicuro come l'oro non farà mai più promesse, non si metterà mai più in gioco ne, tantomeno, regalerà mai più quel piccolo, patetico organo (cosa state capendo, il suo cuore!) ad una donna. Non importa nemmeno se quella stessa sarà capace di rivoltargli il mondo senza che se ne renda conto.

Per Christine il piccolo O'Connor non le sembra altro che un arrogante, maleducato uomo che tratta le persone con un distacco tale da farle sentire come se non fossero altro che minuscoli insetti. O almeno, è così che si sente lei quando lui è nei paraggi. Il loro incontro non è stato dei migliori, o almeno non il primo, facendola sentire come se fosse una miserabile.
Vogliamo poi parlare del secondo incontro? O del terzo? Sembra che quando loro due si incontrano/scontrano, due mondi vengano a contatto e l'unico modo per evitare la catastrofe, o almeno per Ryan, è ferire Chris.
Eppure il suo profumo inizia a darmi alla testa,
come tre o quattro bicchieri di whisky,
come se cercasse d’intossicarmi, di confondermi,
di trascinarmi verso qualcosa d’inadatto e pericoloso,
a cui non dovrei avvicinarmi neanche per sbaglio.

Sotto sotto, però non si può negare il fatto che quando Christine è vicino a Ryan ha il cuore a mille mentre l'altro sembra solo pensare a quanto sia attraente.
Un bacio mancato renderà la situazione più chiara ( e forse più confusa) per entrambi.
Vale la pena rimettersi in gioco quando si ha già sofferto così tanto? Risentirsi come se ogni parte di noi stessi si sentisse "a casa" soltanto quando l'altra persona ci è accanto, rendendola la padrona della propria felicità?

Ryan can be read as a standalone, so while it's not imperative that you read Ian (Book 1), I certainly recommend it, because there are a lot of things that carry over, and Ian is all over this story as a secondary. Which is also one of my favorite things, because I love seeing what he & Riley are doing now. Okay, Ryan, who had a betrayal perpetrated on him so harsh that he's an angry douche now. And while I certainly understand the pain, his anger at times really got on my nerves, which I know sounds a bit confusing, but I cannot go into many details without giving plot away. Christine is a single mother who Ryan turns his anger on in the beginning, which is where I drew the line, as she didn't deserve it. However, little did he know that she would turn his life upside down despite his determination that no woman would ever get past his walls again. But it was no easy journey, the bumps (and it was more like boulders to be honest) made for some serious angst, though they did have some serious chemistry once the anger was waded through. However, the push & pull was at an all time high for frustration, but A.S. Kelly made it hurt so good. And as I said above, the secondaries like Ian & Riley added to the story in amazing ways. I LOVED this story so much, and CANNOT WAIT for the next book, as these brothers are super passionate & keep me all jacked up cover to cover! So one click this bad boy that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

4,5 stelline per Ryan e Chris! se qualcuno mi avesse detto che Ryan mi sarebbe piaciuto più di Ian avrei risposto Impossibile! e invece Mister Muscolo con le sue paure i suoi demoni interiori con le sue ferite quel suo carattere che passa dall'odioso all'amabile nel giro di un secondo mi ha conquistato il cuore.
Complice sicuramente Chris una donna non consapevole della sua naturale bellezza, donna mamma e proprietaria di un locale che si innamora di Ryan e con la sua affabilità e la sua forza d'animo cerca in tutti i modi di riportarlo alla vita, molti saranno i momenti di confusione e smarrimento ma altrettanti quelli di passione e dolcezza.
Ryan O'Connor è un libro dalle mille sfaccettature capace di conquistarti al primo incontro dei due protagonisti.
ops dimenticavo Evan il figlio di Chris lui è stato l'ago della bilancia e in alcuni casi anche l'alleato fidato di Ryan, il tutto focalizzato alla felicità della mamma!!

How can I describe a story like this in a few lines? I can not. There would be so much to say. A.S. Kelly makes the characters so real, with their flaws, their differences, she perfectly mixes the main story with everything else. Ryan is a man broken into pieces. He is not able to overcome what has happened in the past and that turns everything into anger and indifference. But he didn't deal with Christine. When he meets her, he tries to ignore her but fails. He sees her everywhere, even at his parents' home, and unfortunately for him, his family really likes Christine, everyone loves her. But they are getting closer and closer, and he feels more and more attracted. But he can't give up because he can't love anyone. Christine is a strong woman, she is raising a child on her own because of her past failures in love, she is independent and she knows that behind that cold marble there is a man with a golden heart. The other characters in the story fill the chapters with their hilarious situations and their moments of reflection and love in pure O'Connor style. Absolutely recommended!

This is the first book I have read by this author but after reading Ryan it certainly won’t be the last, this may be book 2 in the dysfunctional O’Connor family but I can assure you it can be read as a stand-alone, I know this because I haven’t read Ian book 1 as yet.
Ryan is angry at life, well to be honest he angry at everyone and everything and at times he wasn’t easy to like but you don’t have to like someone to relate to them and he is easy to relate to. Christine is a smart strong woman who is just a tad vulnerable trying to make a life for her and her son and she was so easy to love. Will Christine get Ryan to show what he is covering with rage and anger....
A dysfunctional family saga set in the world of rugby, a man who is full of anger and who doesn’t feel worthy of relationships and a kind single mum who turns his world upside down. This book has plenty of angst but it also has plenty of witty funny moments and characters you can relate to. A great read from a new author to me .

Book two and I'm head over heels in love with this dysfunctional family.
I could relate to Ryan in so many ways that it was scary. Having been in his shoes I understood where he was coming from. His anger and resentment was oozing with each word he spoke. I loved Christine. She was the kinda woman I hope I am; smart, strong and a bit vulnerable infront of a right person. She didn't have an easy life but she managed to push through it all and kept going. And despite of his fears she was the anchor that kept him grounded and letting him feel save to love again.
I've been sucked into this family with the first book and I'm not sure my heart can take much more....with that said GIVE ME MOOOOOOORE 😜

Ryan by A. S. Kelly is book Two in the O'Connor Brothers Series. This is the story of Ryan and Christine 'Chris'. I have read the previous book but feel you can make this a standalone book if you wish to do this.
Ryan has a chip on his shoulder which is causing him to hate most everything and anyone. Ryan's attitude is keeping him from being a part of his family. Even when he first meets Chris his anger keeps him from seeing her and any feelings he might have. Chris is a single mother who has a Cafe that she owes and works hard at. So Ryan's attitude isn't one she wants to put up with. Ryan and Chris both has issues and both started to feel that the other helped with their feelings. Ryan had the biggest part to over come which made this book a page turner for me.

What an incredible romance!
The story of Ryan and Chris has conquered me, especially Ryan, that has a special spot in my heart. I fell in love with him page after page, I breathed his anger and hate, I felt his fears and pain: he's disappointed by love and he's scared of what Chris unleashes in him.
Throughout the novel I wanted to hug him thightly and tell him: "Come on, Ryan! I hold you, I'm here with you. You can do it!" I like too much when I can feel this kind of connection with the characters of the book.
A.S. Kelly, with her magic pen, has trasported me into her story and I thank her for that. This book, for me, is a must read: everyone must know Ryan O'Connor because he always does more. Much more 😁 😍😍😍

Io AMO Ryan. Lo amo per tutto quello che è, perfetto nelle sue imperfezioni. Nel suo carattere burbero e testardo, ma ha un cuore ENORME. E poi vogliamo parlare di Cris? Una grande donna con gli attributi. Che ha saputo crescere e sistemarsi in certe situazioni completamente da sola, che non si fa mettere i piedi in testa e che, una volta aperto il cuore, ama incondizionatamente sempre mantenendo il suo carattere. AMO questo libro e continuerò a farlo, sempre.

Enemies to lovers is always a fun listen and this one did not disappoint! These two have a huge dislike for each other, or so they want you to believe. I loved watching this one unfold and getting a lot more background answers as to what happened in Ryan’s past with his brother. Another great listen with the O’Connor brothers.

While I enjoyed the overall story and I am also looking forward to the other books in the series. The e-book was much easier to get through than the audible as the male robotic narration left me wanting more. There was so much emotion to the story that I could only feel while reading the e-book. Twists and turns galore and I was hooked from the prologue.
