More like 3.5ish. I really enjoyed book 1&2 but 3 dragged a little. Still good and will definitely read book 4.

Great but not without some minor challenges
I’ve loved all of A.L. Knoor’s books so far. They have an amazing way with describing things! I just can’t get over it.
However. The whole love tropes are getting worse, boarding on obsession between the characters.
In the first few series they’re fine. All clean. Which I appreciate. But this one was just, idk. I felt like I was Elsa from frozen when Anna said she was in love with the price. Like y’all have known each other for 14 1/2 hrs and you can’t live without them? Come on.

I am thrilled with this series!
I have not been able to put this series down. It is full of wonderful characters, fantastic world building, unique magical systems; a complete, beautifully written fantasy with twists and turns, villains, and heroes that have made it seem timeless in my mind.
I am a voracious Kindle Umlimited reader, reading over one hundred, sometimes close to two hundred books a year. Lately, I've been dissatisfied with many of the books or series I've read. They start good, and then something happens, and the whole story fails because it was rushed to a finish line that leaves a bad taste in the readers mind. Leaving too many unanswered questions that it feels like you've wasted your time reading it. And then many books have just been so similar or cliche. I've marked quite a few books this year DNF (did not finish).
But this novel series by Knorr, with very little spice (and I usually like a bit more spice) made The Scented Court series so strong and appealing that I've read the first three books in less than a week. And I am supposed to be getting ready to leave for a trip. I am having to make myself stop and pack before I move on to Book Four! Airplane ride across country and long layovers, no big deal...I'll be on my own journey the entire time with Jess and Sasha, Laec and Cifta, Isabey and Shade! When a series can suck you in like that, you know you have found a gem of a writer with a winning story that won't be forgotten. Thank you, A. L. Knorr!

Fabulous, this is the third book in this series and it was just as good as the first two.
The action coninues, the mystery of Cifta is finally revealed, who is she and who was her mother, what is her destiny all this comes out. Does Laec finally get to tell her how he feels about her? Will she admit how she feels about him?
Meanwhile Sasha and Rialta are held prisoner awaiting trial for the murder of the Prince of The Winter Court. The Queen of the Winter Court demands that she be allowed to attend the trial and also that the jury should be made up of six citizens of the court too along with six from Solana, to ensure a fair trial, but is that all she has in mind?
While this is happening Jess is out of her mind with worry about Sasha and what will happen to him and also to her if it is discovered they are in love. She still has her Calyx duties to perform as well as her spy missions.
Will she ever have time to work on her own problem of finding out what happened to her twin brother?
I have pre-ordered the next book in this series, The Prince of Autumn and can't wait for the outcome.

What an awesome book. The descriptions, the characters, the plot, the surprises. It is all wonderful. Thank you A L Knorr for gifting me this book. I LOVED it. It is the third in the series and I have read and listened to the first and second books. There is just so much to take in from the books. Can’t wait to read book four. I’m buying it today. I wish they were all out in audio already. I guess I will just have to listen to them again when they are released. I love the main characters of Cifta, Laec, and Jessamine. We get to read the whole series in their perspectives. We also get to see their journey from just meeting each other to their falling in love and all their challenges and heartbreak too. Love it.

Well this book had it all (I feel run out) book three follows on with the same three main characters POVs the first books was more focused on Jess (in my opinion) also laec but more was happening for jess, we saw Cifta get into a bad spot but even then Jess and laec did a rescue missing to save her.This book she is more at play and you think you can guess but wonderfully shocking there is a few twists (but the ice block does give you stress of when it will melt if it will, grab ice cream)
Great writing evil coming for the sweet kingdom non stop, mysteries still keeping you guessing, is laec or dige Jess brother? Or the evil Prince or shade? Or is he dead (people do did a lot in this series)
Thank gosh the next book is out, I'm off to download bye.

WOW this was incredible! Book three and this series is just amazing. The author continues to do an awesome job of pulling you into this incredible world that she has built with its exciting and entertaining storyline. Our characters are back and their development continues as does their journey and there is so much going on that you will find yourself hooked and unable to put it down. There’s action, danger, drama and romance and surprises along the way which will have you gasping and on the edge of your seat. A wonderfully interwoven storyline that will give you all the feels from laughter to tears, from anxiety to courage, this has it all and you will not want to leave!

The third book in The Scented Court series is just as gripping as the previous installments. Fast paced and with lots of action, I didn’t want to put the book down. The world crafting makes the land of Ivryndi feel like a believable place. With top notch character development, I feel as if I know everyone and I’m invested in their futures. Just as the previous books in the series, this book just ends and leaves you wanting the next book right now. The final book can’t come quick enough for me.

This book was sooo good, I was speeding through it as fast as I could because I couldn't wait to see what happened next. Kudos to the author for really having the ability to produce a page turner. It's an art for sure. I think the character development was really defined in this installment and the drama factor was totally there. The plot definitely thickened and there was a good amount of action. It would be nice to have a character tree, because since there's so many it can be cumbersome to remember them all. Other than that 5 star read!

I really enjoyed this.
The fae court shenanigans ending up with a finish I did not see coming at all.
I really loved having the Winter fae finally properly being part of the story and having a wolf familiar is always good fun.
There is a good amount of very sweet clean romance in this and the way it's written really gives you all the feels.
The chapter titles mean that a certain event was spoiled for me but i won't hold it against Abby as it was such a good read.
I am so looking forward to reading Prince of Autumn!

A Daughter of Winter: An Epic Fae Fantasy (The Scented Court Book 3), my thirty-seventh read from author A.L. Knorr. Extremely well written, the characters, even the minor ones, are well-developed. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters, who and what they are, why they do the things they do. The things that make the reader get invested into the characters and thereby the story. I’ll be reading more from this author and look forward to A Prince of Autumn: An Epic Fae Fantasy (The Scented Court Book 4). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

A.L.Knorr is a consummate writer with a unique ability to paint her words into a movie for the mind. The stunning plants, rare animals and beautiful people will take you from the couch into an alternate universe that will move you to tears, joy and wonder. I was surprised with the turn of unexpected events but I agree with other reviewers that not much can be said without spoiling the story for other readers. Trust me you will love this series. RECOMMENDED

Could not put this book down. The author has a way of making you feel so connected and invested in the characters, their stories and their lives that you feel you know them personally. I've cried so many times reading this series and I'm left bereft at having to wait for the the 4th instalment, I must know what happens with Jess, Sasha, Laec, Çifta, Isabey and where or what happened with Julian!!

It’s so hard to review a book that brings all type of emotions. It’s no surprise to be carried on by all events. Jess, Laec and Çifta are great characters that enchanted the readers. The settings are so well “painted” that the readers can easily navigate through all the places as if being part of the story. Last but not least, a fast pacing narrative, full of passion and turnovers brilliantly written. Looking forward to the next one.

Wow, there was a lot going on in this book. This series keeps getting better. The book has action, suspense, romance, and surprises. Some of my favorite moments were when Jess was willing to do anything to find a way to see her love. Oh my Laec's love for Cifta, he would do anything to save her. Cifta journey was fascinating. There are so many amazing things to say, you have to read this action packed story. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review

This series started out amazing and just got even better. Laec's love for Cifta has never been more poignant and sacrificial. Cifta, herself, goes on a journey of self discovery. Jess's love and faith in Sasha's innocence gets her up to more mischief. Then there's a little rebellion amongst the Calyx. Oh, and the evil unseely Prince has a big little secret! This book brought me to tears. ❤

So hard to write a review without spoilers but I am just so obsessed with this series and was over the moon to find that this wasn't the last one 😁!!
There is a lot of background details filled out in this one regarding the Silverfae and I personally was really intrigued. As usual of course Beazle was on top form! Love that little guy 🥰 can't wait for more !!!

Great story!
This is a really good series of books to read. I love reading books by Ms. Knorr. Her stories flow easily and keep you entertained. I never felt like there was a lull in the story or a lot of unnecessary filler. She is a very gifted and creative author. You won't be sorry to buy this book.

Mesmerising!
I haven't done anything but read and work when I have to in order to complete this captivating story! Good and evil battle each other, but perseverance, love, and home reign at the end of the day. A.L. Knorr, your gift for writing is more magical than yhe Kingdoms you have us imagine. Highly recommended!!

Knorr did it again with this installment of The Scented Court. Her characters come alive on the pages and she’s created settings that made me feel as if I could see them. A beautiful story of love, deceit and longing. Simply fantastic.

This the 3rd book in the series is my favorite yet! This book made me laugh and cry. The characters are likable and I got engrossed in the book straight away. I hugely recommend this series; it needs to be read in order but please give it a go. You certainly won't regret it

As Laec, Cifta and Jess continue on their journeys, this next installment to the series really kept me intrigued. The twists and turns were awesome. Never would think it would turn out like it did. Now to wait for book 4!

My favorite of the series so far. The build up from book two definitely ignites and explodes in this one, but maybe not the way you’d think. More lovey feelings in this one and suspense. The story kept me on my toes and on edge just about every page.

So much more action in this book, which is understandable, since there is only one book left in the series!
A lot of love themes in this book. Winter themes. Back stories. This was a page turner.

Each character has a past present and future. SO well thought out and full. The magic is incredible, and the world feels like it isn't an afterthought. I can't wait to read the next book. I wish it were on Audible.
