Now finding himself among the ranks of Oscillatory Universe, Haruyuki pays a visit to Eternal Girls’ Academy, the White Legion headquarters. This volume serves as an excellent addition to the storyline as it provides us a glimpse of life amongst the members of the White Legion who, while we were led to believe the Seven Dwarves were these people who should have been god-like, practically, are a group of normal kids and total goofballs. My favorite was easily Tomochika but Rhio Glacier Behemoth grew on me. Overall, this part stood out to me as memorable because unlike other series where the protagonists being capture or rather joining the other side is a temporary thing done against their while, Haruyuki is actually giving it his all hoping to integrate fully into their team, keep things secret between them and his parent's Legion, and seemingly befriend them. I liked this alot and it raised my already high view of Accel World.

Beyond that, the way the Accel World changed post the release of the Deity of Demise, Tezcatlipoca has been fantastic. From seeing the middle rank/tier legions banding together to take it down, to seeing them all get put into unlimited EK afterwards, to Haruyuki and Kuroyukihime being taken to the Highest Level, to the evolution of Tezcatlipoca into a portal for the players of Dread Drive 2047, Accel World has reached its highest point yet. I am vastly interested in seeing where we go from here and also in seeing how the history and the future of the Accelerated World will interact and evolve to meet the goals set out by its nebulous developer and potentially its AI Administrator.

Good volume. Oh and also, ps, longest slow burn et, what other series takes more than 10 years and 26 volumes for its main couple to kiss?

It's been two years since I read the last volume, so I was struggling to recall everything that came before. Basically, we pick up after Haru had to join the White Legion last time and he's now processing his feelings about that. Some big (and honestly past-due) developments happen this volume, and although the ending was a bit unexpected, I am all for starting a new arc (just don't make me wait too long).
