Questa serie è proprio interessante. In particolare, ho finito questo libro stanotte quando non riuscivo a dormire: l'intenzione era leggere un capitolo e basta, ma poi mi sono ritrovata all'inizio del gran finale e non ho potuto lasciare tutto in sospeso. Detto questo, i due personaggi principali erano interessanti, la storia era come al solito piena di suspense e abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere un pochino i due fratelli Finnegan che fino a questo momento non erano stati molto presenti. Mancano ancora quattro libri e non vedo l'ora di leggerli!

Filled with action and a great continuation of a super series!
Quinn is on duty for the Coast Guard when they get a call about a boat explosion. Getting there, he finds Sami, his supposedly dead ex-fiancee, floating in the water. When she finally comes to, she has amnesia and doesn't remember a thing. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop the bad guys from coming after her. Can they figure out what is going on before they are both killed? How long will it take for Sami to get her memory back? Read this to find out!
The pace is breakneck and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with an action and character oriented storyline that has a few kisses. The characters are vivid and engaging. The Christian ideals are woven into the story. The action is unending! Read these in order, but you will get more out of this series if you read Laura Scott's SWAT Top Cops series in order and then Callahan Confidential series in order before starting this series. All of these are action packed adventures immersed in Christian ideals.

This was a wonderful suspenseful read. Quinn, who works for the Coast Guard, is on duty when there is a boat explosion. Upon arriving, he rescues an unconscious woman floating in the water. To his shock, it's his ex fiancée Sami Lopez, but there's a problem. She regains consciousness but doesn't remember her name or what she was doing out on the boat in the water. As multiple attacks happen, Quinn and Sami must figure out who is behind it all and why while finding the time to discuss why Sami ended their relationship.
I enjoy reading each one of the Finnegans. This story was nonstop action and fast paced with twists and turns and a case of amnesia. I'm looking forward to the next installment in this series.

...but she doesn't even remember him...never mind them or their history!
Heart racing, life threatening, dangerous, confusing and desperate, they not only have to stay alive, they have to find the dirty agent and most importantly they have to help Sami regain her memory, because this time....Quinn is not letting her walk away!
I love Quinn and Sami, they obviously have a history, but she is oblivious to it and it is hard to see Quinn struggle when he remembers everything. Every moment, every breath, every event, every second they spent together. But he doesn't get frustrated with Sami, he digs in deeper, determined to do everything he can to keep Sami safe, solve the case and secure their future.

Very entertaining!
This is another very entertaining book in the Finnegan series. It has lots of mystery and action with the struggle of an interrupted romance and a case of amnesia. Amnesia is not my favorite thing in a book. The Christian message is gently sprinkled throughout the story. It's an enjoyable book.

I am enjoying this series of books about the Finnegan family. Quinn and Sami fit well together. Sami has amnesia after her boat blows up, and she is hit by debris. Coast Guard officer Quinn pulls her out of like Michigan and realizes his ex-fiance is alive. Now together, they need to find out who wanted Sami dead.

Another great read! The twists and turns this story took kept me on my toes!! Adventure, mystery, memory loss and a heroic love interest!!! I love the connection to the other books in this series as well. All around, a great read!!!! I highly recommend this book and actually this whole series so far!!! Laura Scott does not disappoint!!!

Another Finnegan #5
Really like this series, ful of action and suspense. Scott included their past life and although the reader assumes that Quinn will reunite with Sami we never know how or why she left him to go to LA to take another job.
This is a good one, do enjoy!

RISKY RESCUE had a lot of exciting tropes thrown into one Christian romantic suspense novel. Being an avid romance reader, I’m always down for tropes! Coast Guard rescuer Quinn Finnegan pulls an unconscious woman out of the water and discovers it’s his former fiancée, who he believed was dead. Then he tries to find out what happened to her, but she has complete memory loss of the past years and can’t tell him anything. Someone keeps trying to kill Sammy and without her memory to clue them in to why she was on the boat, it’s a little hard to figure out why and who and how to protect themselves. This series is fast-paced, with lots of cliffhangers and danger, and I like the short length of the books. 4/5 stars.

The Mystery is Intriguing
The Flannegan family is interesting. Their love for each other is obvious. Living out their faith is important. Sami is good at what she does.

Amnesia stories aren’t my faves, but the reason for memory loss in this one is plausible. My heart hurt for Quinn and I was hoping he would get a HEA.
