This book is about how to make the most effective use of technology and the digital world to help your business. A business without a "mature digital presence" is looked at skeptically by the consumer (speaking as a consumer, I can vouch for this statement!). Topics such as loyalty programs, consumer empowerment, the disappearance of brand loyalty, digital security, using AI to combat misinformation, and much more are discussed in detail.
However, it's not only the consumer side that is affected by technology. Businesses must also keep up with demands by employees, contractors, etc for a transformation with a digital component.
The book is broken into 3 sections, the first discussing why making a digital upgrade is important, the second outlines the steps you need to take to accomplish this, and the third (about half of the book) is about the author's own LIFTS (Learn, Investigate, Formulate, Take Off, Study) program.
I think this would be a useful book for a business owner or manager who needs to upgrade their technology, which is practically a must in today's world.
