A stolen daughter.

Eleri has been sequestered from the outside world all her life, surrounded by her guardian's minions and the gargoyle who is the only father she's ever known. Her only friend is imaginary.

Her eyes will open.

She's asked by her guardian to use her gift of sight for a spell to find a lost dragonkin—no matter the cost. With thousands of lives in the balance,

She will have to choose.

The only home she's ever known—or doing what she knows is right.

Shadow Born is a fantasy romance novella with a naive heroine, and a ghost of a hero. There is an evil group plotting against them, and steam suitable for readers 18+.

This is a novella with no cheating and a happily-ever-after ending. It shares a continuing story with other books in the series, and is best enjoyed read in order.

This was more of a cliffhanger than the others in the series. I’m guessing the next one will be the final book. The dragon probably belongs to the one chic who has been searching for her but can’t find it? If only one more book to the series, then it would be a good extension, but if more, then the continued introduction of new characters to keep the story going would make the series drag too much. The characters are getting more shallow as the series continues.

Oh wow, did this get worse. My recommendation is to NOT START THIS SERIES.
If this is a new author I would be willing to try again in a few years and suggest a much better editor.
