Hey, I’m Amy, I write books for folks who crave laugh-out-loud paranormal mysteries. I help bring humor into readers’ lives. I’ve got a Pharm D in pharmacy, a BA in Creative Writing and a Masters in Life. And when I’m not writing or chasing around two small children (one of which is four going on thirteen), I can be found antique shopping for a great deal, getting my roots touched up (because that’s an every four week job) and figuring out when I can get back to Disney World. If you’re dying to know more about my wacky life, here are three things you don’t know about me. —In college I spent a semester at Marvel Comics working in the X-Men office. —I worked at Carnegie Hall. —I grew up in a barbecue restaurant—literally. My parents owned one. If you want to reach out to me—and I love to hear from readers—you can email me at amyboylesauthor@gmail.com. Happy reading!
What I find interesting is that the murderers seem obvious but then it surprises me what happens to convoluted things. Clem, the reluctant witch, finds herself dealing with having to learn to use her magic when Rufus appears in town and all kinds of mysteries and death seem to follow. With her trusty pet, Lady, and her unlikely elderly sidekicks, Clem and Rufus work together to solve a plethora of magical calamaties while falling in love and building a future together in the town they love.
Clem manages to get herself into quite a few pickles because she wants to do the right thing, even if they are dangerous. From bad seed witches and wizards to vampires, scared as she may be most of the time, she jumps right in. Struggling to learn how to use her magic, Rufus spends just as much time trying to keep her safe. At the end, they do solve the mysteries and save the town, but there is always a cost.
Clementine and Rufus, a witch and wizard are learning to use spells to save their town from strange magics
Fantastic stories with delight and humor mixed with serious magic. The two people are drawn to each other and are using spells they are finding to save the people and their town. Clementine finds the older lady that is her friend is much more than that. The man she suspects of misuse of magic is courting her and she is responding as they learn together how to find and use spells that save people and her town. Again we need more stars. These stories are so good and so enjoyable as they solve murders and treachery.
I like the idea of getting more of Rufus's story. However why do all these women in Amy Boyles book have amazing powers and not one ounce of common sense? They appear ignorant of the criminal in each one. Terrible judges of character. I need a STRONG SMART INTUITIVE
I luv to read all the Amy Boyles books.they are amazing books. They are fun, mysterious, magical and interesting! I recommend her books to all who enjoy reading.
This series kept my attention. I love paranormal stories. Amy is a master! The characters were so real. Wish I had some of their magic. I was sorry they all ended?
