After what happened in the truck, Jed, Kade, and Laken need to face the facts. Things are changing, but are they ready for the dynamic to shift?
Kade’s still struggling with guilt, Jed’s head is all messed up, and Laken is right in the middle, trying to decide if that’s where she wants to be.
In a world where society likes to judge and not everyone understands, can these three come to a decision that works for them, or will the opinions of others influence their choices?
What will their brothers think?
What porch chat will Mama Dare give?
Laken is already invested in one dominant Dare, but can she handle double the Dares?
*Reminder, this is the fourth book in the Dare Brothers series. Must be read in order.
One of the easiest 5 star ratings I've ever given.
This serise has fast become one of my favourite serise. The Dare family are addictive and I can't get enough of them.
After reading the first 3 books of this serise at the begining of Feb, I've found it hard to think about anything else!
I love how this story not only focused on navigating a new relationship dynamic, but also navigating the emotions and judgement that surrounds polyamory, especially where two brothers are involved. I think the author did a beautiful job of portraying those fears, insecurities and vulnerabilities.
Laken will always be a warrior to me, and some of the things she had to experience thoughout this story broke my heart, but with the support of her men and the dare family she came out on top!
This book certainly healed the cracks in my heart that I had for Kade in book 2! Jed, Laken and Kades story is beautiful, and it's clear that they were always meant to be.
I also love that we got to learn a little more about some of the brothers! 😍 Dom & Hardin 😍
I really wish I'd found this serise before on the original platform, because it's going to be pure torture waiting for the next instalments.
I think it's safe to say that I NEED to know what's going on with Gar! What happened to him in this book heart my heart and I need him to get his HEA.
I am so darn happy that Kade is getting his happy ending/beginning. The world could take so many lessons from the Dare family on acceptance, tolerance, and love. Nordika tells their tale and navigating polyamory beautifully and respectfully in the true Dare way. Feelings are hard and it can be tricky, but with lots of f-bombs, pushing and pulling, they figure it out. Not overly dramatic in any way and I couldn't put this one down because I was excited to see them get this together.
I also love that we still get to hear from everyone, including Four and Genny because I just adore them.
To be honest I almost didn't start this series. I am so glad that I gave in and did. The Dare family and friends have been so freaking entertaining to read about. I love them all so much, lol. I'm so looking forward to the upcoming books but I really freaking need Gar to get his own Dare 🤗. Definitely a must read series.
I'm blown away I knew I would be (read it on line first) but DAMN it makes you feel all the feels there is to feel about the most odd things to feel a feel for.
Like always, reading about this family, even with all the harder and serious topics in between the lines, is a bliss. The support system these fictional people have is the type everyone dreams about. You gotta love the tough love of punches and insults flying around all the time—parents included, who by the way, made me snort more than once—accompanied by the encouraging words they have for each other, no matter what.
Although I still have my faves in this series (Four and Zahn), I love how this book tackled on how judgemental society is with what it doesn't understand or what is out of the norm. It hurt, but it was amazing seeing these three talking through their feelings and handling this so unconventional situation in such a mature way. Love is love in the end, right?
Also Dom and Hardin. I can't!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Seriously, if you wanna read about all types of unconventional relationships, good smut, and even better banter, start this series like NOW.
I’ve been itching to get to the conclusion of Jed, Laken, and Kade’s story. Kade didn’t get his happy ending in his own full-length novel, so I really wanted to see him settled, as he is one of my favourite Dares. He’s pined after Laken, watching her happily matched up with his brother for over a year and my heart ached for him. Seeing him finally get what he thought he could never have, and thrive in his new relationship was everything. I love the dynamics of these three and the respect and understanding they all have for each other. And the spice 😳🥵 Nordika hit it out of the park with this one. Highly recommend.
All I can say is WOW!! This is my favourite book so far in the series. I always have a soft spot for the OG main characters in a series, but the allure of Kade and his obsession with Laken always drew me in. I think that’s why I never really got on board the Kade and Maeve train.
I love the journey these 3 went on and the fact it wasn’t smooth sailing. From self doubt and fear of being a social pariahs… this book is much more than being just about sex (though there definitely are some steamy scenes 🤭)
Kudos to Nordika on another great book! From the very first book of the series, I was so relieved/impressed and excited that she got it right for the mountain "vibe". She nails the combination of strength, bad-assery and feminity, which is not easy to do and made me love the book even more!
I love this book, I do wish some of the material from the original on Inkitt made it into this one but still loved it none the less!!! Can't wait for more!!!
Yet again, we are taking a trip back to Seward, Alaska. It's been moths now since I've read the first book in this series. When we got introduced to some of the characters, you had the feeling that things would get very interesting, but it might take some time for all to get their happiness.
If you are here, you should be very familiar with Dare family dynamics lol they are aloud, vulgar, yoo sexy for their own good with little to no shame but with huge hearts. Mama Dare should be treated as a national treasure! I really love the acceptance and how open they all are.
Laken and Jed relationship is going strong, but things are starting to shift since the night in the car with Kade. We know how Kade feels about Laken, and he learns to accept that he will never be able to call her his as he will never ruin his brother happiness. But what if Jed I starting to see things from slightly different perspective 😈 and now where is Laken in this hot sexy mess? Dive in to find out 😁
I always enjoy going back and reading about Dare's. They are one of a kind for sure. We had a chance to have a little insight into other relationships, but there is more to come, and I honestly can't wait.
Nordika pushes some social norms here, so if you read this series, be open-minded and just have fun. Be aware that this family loves voyeurism 🥵 yep, trust me, it's hot 🔥 enjoy 😉
After reading my first book (Little Demon in the Details) by Nordika Night, which I really enjoyed. I decided to check out more of her books and I’m really glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and thought it was another good addition to the Dare Brothers Series. This is Jed, Laken and Kade’s story. They have to come to terms that the dynamic of their relationship is shifting, there’s a lot of self doubt. They also have to think about being faced with judgement for not only being in a polyamorous relationship, but one that includes two brothers being in a relationship and in love with the same girl. I thought the chemistry between these three was completely off the charts, as well as hot as hell. I just love the Dare family and I’m looking forward to getting more of them as the series continues. It’s Zahn’s turn next. I’m also looking forward to reading more books by Nordika Night in the future. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
I can't help but love the dynamic between Laken, Jed and Kade. A well written story about bringing a third love interest into an already beautiful and thriving relationship. The love and acceptance of all relationship types is what really makes this series shine and I can't wait to add book 5 to my library ❤️
I love this family and their stories! The development in this book both character and relationship was absolutely phenomenal. There’s so much happening but none of it felt rushed. I also love the lead up in the brothers relationships. Cannot wait for the next book!
