I absolutely love a hero who swoops in and saves the heroine-it taps into the most primal psychological instincts when men were men and were the defenders that protected their women from predators, human or otherwise! And Poe is awesome! His protective instincts are awakened as soon as he sees the heroine and hes vowing that she is his, to protect and provide for. The heroine had been neglected and used by her family and the hero’s intense, unwavering devotion was perfect for her
The only thing I didn’t like was that the hero and heroine start to get hot n heavy in a room full of other ppl and I thought the whole scene was gross and degraded but thankfully the hero didn’t degrade the heroine by exposing her to others.
Safe. Hero’s past isn’t really mentioned except to say that he’s been celibate for a while. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. No others (some creepy minor OM drama from the heroines cousin), no ow, no sharing or cheating.

Completely ridiculous and addictingly smutty!
Jisa knows how to bring the story and the steam to her novellas and I always enjoy reading them. Poe gets way more than he bargained for when he runs into the innocent Pru and the rest is history. If you're looking for something quick and dirty then I recommend!
“The only person you will ever ‘satisfy’ is me, sweetheart. I’ll be the one and only between these thighs.” He swivels his hips and moans. “And more, so much more.”

Poe & Pru
Short, action-packed, and very steamy! Even knowing what the book was about, the beginning was pretty intimidating. Poe had an instant attraction and Pru was fighting an instant attraction, despite her terror of the situation. I love the way the story developed and of course I’m thrilled with the oh so happy ending!

Poe and Pru
DNF 30%. If this wasn't set up as a romance where you knew the leads, Poe would be the disgusting bad guy. He snatches Pru against her will and she rightfully fights him over and over. He 'spanks ' her but it's while she's tied up and gagged so obviously she's not willing.
Then he cuffs her to the bed and beats her again for trying to escape. (Literally described as 'out of his mind spanking her over and over') I stopped as soon as she is crying and he pulls down her pants.

i usually avoid mc books but i like this author and her heroes who are always possessive and faithful so i gave it a chance and Poe was all that plus he wasn't a manho which is rare in mc books
but there were some things that bothered me, the exhibitionism of the other members of the club, they had sex in front of everyone and everyone stopped to watch it, bothered me less than it normaly would because the people having sex in front of each other seemed to be couples and not random women that frequented the club but i still didn't like that Poe was seeing naked women but wouldn't let the heroine look at the men, just a totally unnecessary scene and that'ss why I avoid mc books, i also didn't like that Poe said things like "softest pussy I’ve ever had my hands on" it may sound like a compliment but not even the h liked to hear that because it just seems that he is remembering other women, i also felt that this book was less dirty between the couple in the bedroom than others by this author. I think the author focused too much on the exhibitionism of the club and poe and pru was missing a little more filthiness in the bedroom but i loved the breeding.
overall this was a safeish sexy fun read and this author's books are great if you are looking for a quick smut read with sweet heroines and possessive and loyal heroes.

I liked that Poe was all about Pru from the start. He wanted to keep her and did everything to protect her. Pru was a pretty good FMC. She grew a backbone throughout the story, standing up to her awful family when she had support from the MC.
It was fast-paced, spicy, and had some good possessive moments from the MMC. What keeps it from being a higher rating is I wanted more. The characters needed more personality. The story needed a little more depth. Like the whole issue was the death of the other club's VP and we didn't really get that tied up with a real ending. The setting needed a little more description. We just get the very surface and I felt for a first-in-series it needed more to set us up for all the guys getting their old ladies. It made me want to learn a lot more about Odin and the other guys.

Poe and Pru forever
I loved the main characters names. This is a great read. They met under crazy circumstances and their connection was instant. They met when Pry accidentally walked into something she wasn't supposed to. Poe was desperate to protect her. Pru was not going anywhere without a fight. She was no easy catch. I couldn't put this book down. This book is, as with any Jisa Dean book, is SPICY

Consent has left the chat. So Poe kidnapped the main character and then spanked her and had her handcuffed to the bed and was threatening to molest her and then spank her again. Then she got kidnapped by her cousin and now they in love? What the hell happened. This went from lust to relationship real quick. This was so bland and I'm honestly wondering why so many people rated this so high because you barely can't even connect with the characters as is

Yeah Buddy!!
I loved this story! If I could give it more stars, I would. It didn’t start off sweet and happy, it started off real. From there it went to OMG, to WTH, to this is going to be fun. I loved her ability to fight, to protect herself. She was fierce! I enjoyed that it made him laugh. I loved the double epilogues, and that the truly horrible people got to meet Karma.

That was not like any other MC book that I have read before. I noticed it was short but figured it was because it was the first in the series. Yeah that wasn't it. Things went so fast, there was nothing else to write about. Its the end of the road for me.
