That was a very nice sequel. I can’t believe they actually got to where they are now both of them confessing to each other and all. I also loved that Master (Lord) Min’s scheming has come to an abrupt end. Well deserved I must say.
I found the episodes about Yoon Seungho’s father a bit confusing because there were time jumps back and forth. Guess, that’ll might still play a role in part 4. His father was definitely an asshole and a creep. The murders of Yoon Seungho’s lordly peers might become troublesome as well.
Sometimes the plot switched direction between one episode and the next just to go back to where we left off later. But I can’t complain much and thoroughly enjoyed this volume. I especially loved how the tender scenes between Baek Na-Kyum and Yoon Seungho multiplied even though we got less sex scenes because of it. I also thought it so funny that Yoon Seungho followed Baek Na-Kyum‘s every whim and realised he’s doing so and just accepted his fate.

My poor baby Nakyum. I witnessed the toxicity grow and grow and grow until it had no space to grow any further. This tragedy lead to more trauma and loss then I can count but it did bring tears to my heart and soul. Even through the thick film of constant pain and suffering that both Nakyum and Yoon faced, they weeded themselves into the light of one another. It’s sad but it’s also so painfully beautiful. I’m not ashamed to say I enjoyed this.
It was a weird weekend when I read #1 and #2 of this story, I didn't get it, but was weirdly glued to the screen. Then I left it there, and I have to admit I don't care anymore to know how it went.
So I'm gonna DNF. Time to clear a bit my currently reading list.
Finished, 4:52am...Painter of the Night is making me go insane, or maybe I was already crazy from the beginning? Omg TT TT... That ending... I'm lost for words...Na-Kyum my poor baby...Even if you're not innocent anymore, you're still precious... Why must terrible stuff always befall upon you...? I can't believe I rated this above 4 stars... And I can't believe Seungho cried... Two things that I never thought possible happened at the same time... I want the next volume to come quickly (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`)
P. S. Is Lord Min dead yet? That bastard better be dead or else I'm actually going to start ripping out my hair in a fit of rage.
Out of the 3 seasons of Painter of the Night, this 3rd season is my favorite! 🥰 Seungho's character growth, Nakyeom growing even more beautiful, and them falling in love! Plus the flow of the story is really, really, really good for this season.
