In the last couple of months I have read quite a few good self help books; from The Magic of Thinking Big to The 4 Hour Work Week. This one is most similar to the first one in its content. So how does it comper?

Welll, it is like a watered down version of The Magick of Thinking Big. It lacks the examples the latter gives. The authors ideas are not so thought through; she defends certain statements with spirituality, whereas Schwarz would do it with psychology. And the tips are anything but concreat. Example: 'Never give up' vs 'Focus only on the next mileof your journey'. Keep in mind that the latter not only comes with an example, but actually stems from an experience in Vietnamise war, and you will see in what way this book lacks.

Conclusion: there are far better books than this one.

I love the dog analogy all throughout this book. There is a lot we can learn from the animal kingdom and there is a reason why many humans have dogs living with them. The key learning point in this book is having enthusiasm in what we do, just like a dog with his bone. The other important factor is defending our bone (project), like a dog does. Dogs are always positive and happy, they are on a great frequency and this is a lesson for us all.
The book is also well written, flows and is a quick read.

I liked this book but it didn't resonate with me as much as 21 Distinctions of Wealth. The message is great but I was a little disappointed and found myself just whizzing through it without enjoying it.
