Volume 2 Yudham follows up pretty much the same way the first did with respect to the artwork and changing some of the familiar folklore to include in this but it didn't have the same intrigue of the first volume. There are more things to come and maybe it does get even better in the upcoming volumes. There are more apparent mentions of the divine here. It also felt like it was trying to show alternate origins of historical art forms and even the Mamankam. My problem with the first volume continues here, with a lot of dialogues that feel derivative of American pop culture when the setting is so different. The vadakkan paattu stories based movies in the 70s had their fair share of inspiration from both the west and east but they had their identity which is what feels missing here. Still, something like this in the Indian comics is still a fresh thing, so it needs recognition for that.
