The Outlaws of Deep Space #3

Loved by the Alien Warrior

Rate this book
Calla has been dreaming of a new life …
For me, life back on Earth sucked. I had no friends, no prospects, a crappy job and loads of debt. So when I find myself abducted by aliens and dumped on a near-deserted planet with my twin sister and two other women, I’m not that upset about my sudden change in circumstances. And then there’s Kerrok. He’s a seven-foot-something alien with an actual tail, and he’s trying to claim me as his mate. Me! The woman who’s never even kissed a boy.

Kerrok has never allowed himself to dream …
Before crashing on Rainland, I never had the luxury of imagining a future in which I might have a mate all my own. I was an Outlaw of my tribe, damned to spend the rest of my days alone. Now I have met Calla, and she is everything I never allowed myself to want. If only I can persuade her to take a chance on me.

Author is hitting her stride

These two were absolutely adorable. Calla was a bit of an anxious disaster, but started opening herself up to new ideas and taking a chance on love. He was probs the most overprotective of the MMCs thus far and I kinda loved it. He was determined to go as slow as she needed in all things and she helped him come out of his shell a bit. I’m really curious about where the MMCs in the next book are coming from.

Spice: 4/5

Triggers: money problems (off page), abduction (off page), parent death (off page), housing insecurity (off page)

✨ARC Review! I received an early copy of this book and this is my honest review.✨

I was sent an early copy of Love By The Alien Warrior and I have A LOT OF THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS! This is the third book in the series and like the others I’m giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

The story picks up right where book two left off. Everyone is in Homeroom (the name they’ve given their cave) and each person is settling in to the best of their ability. Kerrok is very aware of Calla and he’s fighting his feelings for her. She’s also taken notice of him, but doesn’t know what she feels or even how to go about talking to him about it.

The pair end up figuring out that there’s some sort of conduit system pumping water into their nearest hot spring. They decide to make a trek down the mountain via the cave system to see if they can figure out where it’s coming from. This could be the key to getting running water into homeroom! During their journey they slowly open up to one another. They talk about their lives on their birth planets and how they feel being on this new one. They also talk about how they feel about each other.

Kerrok makes a gesture to Calla that he’d like to be her mate, but she wants to take it slow. So they begin dating, or at least whatever the equivalent of that is to them. They share a very awkward first kiss. Kisses get more and more passionate as the days press on. Kerrok is really patient with Calla as she’s very self conscious and nervous. Meanwhile he’s just head over heels for her!

They end up realizing the center column of the mountain vibrates. And the vibrations get stronger the lower they go. After finding a hidden down at the bottom, they discover an entire lake! There’s even old tech and comms room. It’s obviously been abandoned for generations, but whoever was here before this group really built out the mountain. Along with the lake they also discover an “Angel”… an alien man with wings who is in a cryogenic freeze up on the wall. No one know how long he’s been there or why. They decide to leave him be for now. They also discover another group of caves that are filled with stone coffins.

After pulling a lever in the old comms room they decide to take their findings back to the group. Once there everyone decides to leave the Angel in his frozen state for now, but that they want to investigate soon. That lever ended up turning on a spigot that was hidden under a stalagmite by the hot spring. So now that they have a constant stream of running water, they can start working on getting it to homeroom.

Calla finally makes her decision to become Kerrok’s mate and they seal the deal for the first time in a very sweet and intimate way. Once they make their declarations to one another, they tell the group what happened and decide to go on a honeymoon. The books ends with them making plans to travel to the other side of the mountain to the valleys since no one has been over there yet.

I’m not gonna lie, I was so shocked when I found out this pairing would be Kerrok and Calla. I legitimately thought he’d end up with her twin, Rose. In the second book they’re seen together working on tech so it seemed like they were hitting it off. I’m so glad they didn’t end up together. Kerrok and Calla make so much sense!!!

Both of them were struggling with guilt and anxiety and watching them work through it was so sweet! I’m glad Calla finally came clean to Rose on what was happening before they got abducted. I’m also happy that Calla was able to show Kerrok that he may of been a ex-hunter branded outlaw on his planet, but on this new one he’s just Kerrok. He’s such a good person and deserved to be shown that. It’s so nice that both of them have their siblings and each other to lean on.

Bravo to Carlotta for writing two virgin MC’s realistically. They were so AWKWARD! From their first kiss to declarations of love and even having sex for the first time. It was written perfectly. It was funny to see them work through the mechanics of everything and also hear their inner monologues. They’re such a cute pair! It’s a bit of a slow burn though… they’re so nervous to give into their feelings and it’s adorable.

Finally, I’m happy that so much world building and lore were explored in this book! The first two mainly focused around their respective couples, but this one had a lot of the whole group together! You got to see a lot of Rose and Sonam which is nice because we don’t know much about them.

This is one of my favorite alien romance series and I cannot recommend them enough! There’s a perfect blend of action and romance in each of these. Plus the world that has built up around all the characters is just so good!

I also want to thank Carlotta for not only sending me an early copy, but dedicating the book to me. I ugly cried when I saw it. This series was one of the first alien romance series I picked up and I was instantly hooked on the genre. These books hold such a special place in my heart and I’m forever grateful to Carlotta for creating this series. Thank you ❤️

Ok! Onto my thoughts and theories for the next two books! At the end of this book Carlotta lets us know that Rose’s book is next! She’s apparently going to have two mates!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!! I love a MFM pairing! It’s going to be with two bounty hunters who we get a small snippet of. It looks like they’re tasked with finding Kerrok and Vorden. So now I’m wondering how they know they’re on the rain planet? I assumed all their tech didn’t put out signals so maybe they followed them here? It’s only been a month so that would make sense I guess. It also makes me wonder if they also crash or if they’ll be able to come and go with Rose? Bring supplies to everyone? How will they get past their bounty hunting ways and be part of the group? I have wayyyyy too many questions. I’m excited for this one to come out!

Finally the last book will focus on the “Angel” that was found in the hidden lake. I’m going to assume he will become Sonam’s mate. This poor girl. She’s so miserable and scared of everyone. I hope she comes around in the next two books. This leads me to wonder what’s the story behind the angel?! Was he captured? Was he a sacrifice? Is he an original inhabitant of the planet? I can’t wait to find out about him!

Another great entry to the series! The main characters were so cute together, I was rooting for them from the start. I liked how emotion-focused the book was while also driving the overaching plotline forward. I really enjoy how in every book the secondary characters have a role to play, it's like we get the love story between the leads while also spending some time with their new little family. I find that sweet and heart-warming :) The world-building is becoming ever more intriguing, and I don't know how I'll survive until the next book in the series T.T

Calla and Kerrok

This is cute, sweet story with light spice. Both Calla and Kerrok are so innocent when it comes to relationships. However, they step out of their comfort zones and emotionally grow together.

cute and spicy

I loved the slow build up of the relationship between Calla and Kerrok. It made sense, it was sweet, and spicy, and I freaking love when the MMC falls first.

Sweet and easy to read. I love how Kerrok and Calla tread lightly with their growing desire. *chefskiss * to how they use the vibrating wall. 😊

Keeping Secrets

A cute romance about a human female keeping secrets from her twin and the alien who adores her. It took a while for them to actually admit that they had feelings for each other but once they decided it was game on! I sure would like to know what’s going on with angel like-being chained to the wall. I’m looking forward to that revelation, besides we have two more females to match up!

I DNF'd at like 53%. I thought I would be interested in the characters but I turned out to be wrong. There is a first time for everything folks. I was just too bored to care about anything that was going on. The chemistry or the romance of the two main characters just wasn't strong enough to pull me through the nothingness that was going on.

Wow, Calla and Kerrok!

Yay, I thought for sure Rose would end up with Kerrok but I think Calla was definitely a better fit for him since he has the same insecurities that Calla has about herself. And now I can't wait to see who Rose gets mated to.

Loved by the Alien Warrior de Carlotta Page Serie The Outlaws of Deep Space libro 3

Argumento:

A mi!

I got the first book in this series on stuff your kindle day and pleasantly surprised that it turned to be a quick fun read and I may have binged the rest in a weekend. Many stuff your kindle days are big disappointments but love when you find a gem. Falls between 3.5 and 4 for me. I didn’t notice any editing issues and it hit exactly what I was in the mood for, a quick, fun, alien adventure with erotic twists. While no, it’s not an original overarching plot, I still found the characters their own and liked the mix of tough yet sweet MMCs. I liked how each story in the series is leading into the next and the mystery of the planet and mountain is strung between each book. I also like how the stories seem to start slow and very detailed oriented and then mid to 3/4 through all the action drops in. I think the length was refreshing, about 200 kindle pages and it was enough to develop the story and character without being rushed but also gives the reader something they don’t have to dig too deep into when they need an escape. I liked this couple more than the first book, but slightly less than book 2. Worth a read

For me, a 3 star rating is GOOD! So, fair Carlotta, don't be discouraged by it.

This is a really good series. A bunch of Australian girls abducted from earth by a bad-Alien group, who abduct to enslave.

The girls have different strengths/weaknesses. In this book we learn more about Calla (who was abducted with her twin Rose). On earth, she struggled and had a lot going on that she hadn't shared with her twin. On Rainland (the planet) she finds her strengths and falls in love (and lust).

Growing connections, self analysis/awareness, dealing with the alien environment - and seriously, abducted and now in outer space!

The male aliens' cultural norms with regard to women are very different to humans (Australians) and they do a great job of care and respect, comfort and protection, before the hot sex.

Sweet, yet sexy reads!

I’m just here for how awkward these two virgins were. It was a lot 😂

We had:
- crash landed human ladies who’ve seen surviving with not a ton
- a hunky alien who felt like he didn’t deserve her
- kissing practice

I’m really invested in the survival of these human ladies in this series—they are definitely roughing it. How is this going to work out?

This was another great book in the series. But it didn’t feel like we got as much of the MMC’s background and development as the previous books. And while discoveries in this book help guide the overall story arc, there wasn’t much to the plot. So a good book but not quite as good as the previous two.

It irked me to no end he kept using the term ‘procreation’ in reference to sex when it’s been well established he is sterile and therefore no procreating could take place.

The argument could be made that is the only term he knows but he was introduced to the word ‘sex’ if fornication was not a desirable term choice for the author.

Another hysterical one. I also love how each pair finds something in their journey to start the next book. It’s Don rather seamlessly. And this one was the most interesting. A man tied up with a feeding tube who has wings and is asleep in the “basement” of the mountain?!

I had a hard time getting through this one until about 65% through. Calla really annoyed me for some reason. The last half of the book was really good through.

Calla and Rose are twins. Seemingly rather identical. And in Book 1, Calla annoyed me. She's aloof, quiet, and seems downright miserable. As soon as we realize that she has a secret, I'm working through the possibilities in my mind. What could it be? What sort of juicy secret would leave Calla desperate to start anew on a whole new freaking planet? Bit of a letdown, to be honest. Her growth in this book is admirable, as is the strength she finds in herself. I will say that I found the spicy aspect to be a little... Less than believable. For first times. Let's leave it at that.

I pre-ordered this book the same day I read the first one. This series is a sweet, easy read with interesting and varied characters. The third book continues with our stranded humans and aliens making a new home and exploring their new environment.

Our two main characters, Calla and Kerrok, are drawn to each other despite feelings of insecurity. They are both inexperienced and believe that no-one would ever want them, so they focus on providing for their new tribe. In wanting to make their new environment comfortable they explore their mountain/tunnels and find their way to each other. They become friends and develop their romantic relationship at a more realistic pace than the previous books.

I can’t wait to find out what happens with their find, and I really hope that Sonam finds some peace soon as she really annoys me with the way she treats everyone around her. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Loved by the Alien Warrior 💜

⛰️ Girl Group
⛰️ Alien MMC x Human FMC
⛰️ Friends to Lovers
⛰️ Cave Exploration
⛰️ Protective MMC/ Kind FMC
⛰️ Both Virgins
⛰️ Alien with a Tail

This series demands to be read curled up in a cozy blanket, chocolate in hand, with a warm drink. It’s that feel-good comfort kind of series. Calla and Kerrok were so sweet. Both have been beaten down by life, and for them to find love and a future in each other *gah* 😭 my heart 🫠

Also I loved the added mystery with the caves. There is something hidden at the bottom of the mountain and I was so invested in finding out what the history of that was.

Have been waiting for this one. Finally the quiet brother gets his story. This couple was a go from the start and just happen to decide they need to go explore the caves together. Oh no! Once again our heroine gives the tall dark and capable hero an education in all things to do with mating, while our hero is an excellent study and, without ruining it, we have a pinned to the wall scene. Yum o.
