Trinity Falls Sweet Romance #4

Cowboy's Bookshop Bride

Rate this book
This single dad refuses to lose his heart to a city girl.
But she reads the lonesome cowboy like a book.

Brody Webb has earned a reputation as a pretty boy who would gladly give you the shirt off his back. But in spite of his good looks and big heart, Brody’s devotion to the family farm lost him his ambitious wife.

When the city girl who bought his uncle’s bookshop forms an instant connection with his kids, Brody is smitten in spite of himself. But he fights tooth and nail not to show it. After all, what would an interesting young woman like Sarah want with a small-town farmer so boring he couldn’t even hang onto the mother of his two beloved children?

Sarah Robinson has dreamed of owning the bookshop in Trinity Falls since she lived in town briefly as a little girl. When the owner is finally willing to sell, she happily buys it, sight-unseen. But she arrives to find that the old place has a junky basement, a leaky roof, and some uninvited occupants. But the biggest problem for her is Mr. Webb’s nephew, a man so handsome he looks like he stepped directly off a billboard and into the bookshop with the sole purpose of making her heart pound out of her chest and her cheeks burn off her face. To make matters worse, he has an adorable son and a brilliant, book-loving twelve-year old daughter that Sarah takes to right away. And to top it all off, Brody makes her feel safe and protected, in a way she hasn’t in a long, long time.

But Sarah is determined not to make a fool of herself over the achingly handsome single dad. A man as beautiful as Brody Webb would never fall for a plain jane like her.

When circumstances throw them all together to solve a local mystery and get the bookshop ready in time for the Christmas rush, it becomes harder for Brody and Sarah to deny their helpless attraction. Will the big cowboy manage to keep his burgeoning feelings on ice? Or will the holiday magic of Trinity Falls ensure that Christmas comes early for them both?

Beautiful cozy sweet romance

I've loved Clara's books and enjoy reading through the series.
This is Brody's story and the new bookshop owner, Sarah who used to live in Trinity Falls as a young girl for a couple of years and has always pined to come back. Now she has inherited Brody's uncles bookshop she is back in Trinity Falls.
This is a heartwarming and touching story of friendship and love that will give you all the cozy festive vibes. Perfect for a night snuggled in reading.
The author highlights how two people lack in confidence about themselves only to realize they are more than they think. I absolutely loved reading their confidence come back and a beautiful friendship forming.
This is a sweet clean romance, and a perfect palette cleanser if you read other genres. Clara Pines is a wonderful author who immediately brings you into the place she has created, Trinity Falls is like a home away from home. Every time I start one of her books in the series it is like pulling on my favourite sweater. It's rich in community, warmth and love. Pines knows how to create beautiful, likeable characters and I also enjoy the slow romance she brings into her writing. If you haven't read a Clara Pines book you are missing out.

5 Star review Cowboy’s Bookshop Bride (Trinity Falls Sweet Romance #4) by Clara Pines

I have really been enjoying this sweet and romantic series. The Cowboy’s Bookshop Bride was a wonderful addition and is single dad Brody Webb and Sarah Robinson’s story.

Sarah is drawn to Brody, but he is determined not to fall for the former city girl convinced she could break his heart. I really liked Brody, he is such a focused, drive, loving and protective man who is determined to make his family’s farm successful.

When Sarah buys the Trinity Falls local bookshop she feels as though she has finally found her place. Meeting and falling for Brody’s son and daughter as well as the attractive Brody is not something she planned.

When circumstances bring them together to solve a mystery both Brody and Sarah find it impossible to ignore the attraction that is growing between them. I loved this story it has heart and soul and characters whose journey you cannot help but become invested in.

3½⭐. Another great story in this series! Cowboys, romance, small town closeness and clean and wholesome to boot. Awesome!

Update: There is a link at the end of all these books, that offers bonus scenes. These are free and worth downloading as well, as they just add a little bit more sweetness to the stories.

Sarah Robinson moved to Trinity Falls with her parents at eleven years old. She fell in love with the town. Sarah didn’t make friends easily, maybe because they always moved around a lot. She loved reading books and spent time in the library and a small bookshop. When she had to move from Trinity Falls a couple of years later, she never forgot the bookshop. She alway kept in touch with Mr Webb. One day out of the blue he sent her a letter telling her he was wanting to sell his bookstore for cheap and as it. Sarah quit her job as manager of the big bookstore and bought the place sight unseen. She moves to Trinity Falls. She’s ready for a new adventure. Trinity Falls always felt like home.
Brody Webb, the booksthop owner’s nephew is a handsome, single father of two, and helps run his family‘s ranch. He lives for his children and the ranch. Not enough time for a relationship. When he meets Sarah he finds it’s hard to stop thinking about her. She’s beautiful with a smile that melts the walls around his heart. His daughter, a twelve year old has a love for books too, so when she wants to spend time at the bookstop and help Sarah, he agrees. His daughter doesn’t make friends easy too. His four year old son stays at Brody’s mom’s house in the afternoon anyway. The more time he and the children spend with her the more they want to. Can he see a future with her? Will the children be disappointed if Brody and Sarah doesn’t make it? After all his ex wife made him feel like he’s boring and too old. Sarah keeps getting mixed signals from Brody. Brody just can’t stay away. Will Sarah make a success with her bookstore? There is also a mystery author in the town. Will Brody’s daughter and new friend figure out who the mystery author is? Between the two girls, Sarah enjoys getting involved in the mystery. How will it all turn out? This is a wonderful story about love, trust and letting go of the past. Can these two with the help of his children find love? It’s a must read. I received this book for my honest review. I review voluntarily. Worth the Read

Could this Feel Good, Sweet Romance Series get any better? Well for this reader, Yes - Yes it can. This series is the first I’ve read by Author Clara Pines, if fact this may be the first she’s written, but I say that to let people know that she has swiftly become a favorite of mine. Her books are family oriented and always full of sweet romance. The kind you dream of as a kid with all the butterflies and feel good moments and this holds true with the storyline for The Cowboy’s Bookshop Bride. It’s a wonderful romance on many levels.

Brody (our cowboy/farmer) is a single dad and nothing is more important to him than his kids, his family and his way of life in the quaint little town of Trinity Falls. They all come before his own happiness, which he doesn’t think he deserves any longer as he couldn’t keep his ex-wife from leaving him and the kids. Then we have Sarah, the young woman who lived a couple years as a child in Trinity Falls and never forgot the wonderful little town and its quirky bookstore that she spent most of her time in. Now her dream has come true as she has not only moved back to Trinity Falls, she has bought the bookstore and can’t wait to fix it up and make it her own style. What she didn’t know when she bought it was Brody, the former owner's nephew would also spark her interest.

Watching the bookstore come to life, along with Brody’s kids, Brody himself and of course Miss Sarah was simply delightful and this reader can’t wait for the next book from Clara Pines and Trinity Falls. Oh and I must add, to solve the town’s literary mystery as well and what fun that is. I can’t recommend this book/series enough. It’s one I know I’ll be reading for years to come.

2 Thumbs Up and 5+ Stars

This is fast becoming one of my favourite series and I look forward to my visits to Trinity Falls to catch up with the residents i think of as friends. This is single dad Brody Webb and Sarah Robinson’s journey and if you love small town romances or single dad stories look no further than Cowboy’s Bookshop Bride which is book 4 in the series of stand-alone’s called Trinity Falls Sweet Romances.
Sarah has moved backed to the town she spent two years growing up in, she is living her dream after buying the local bookshop from Brody’s uncle. As soon as she moves in she is drawn to the single dad who wants to help her in anyway he can but it’s the relationship she build ps with his young son and teenage daughter that took this book to another level.
Brody is not looking for another relationship and up until now he has lived up to this nickname if one date Webber but there is something special about the new bookstore owner and it’s not long before the attraction becomes to hard to resist.
I loved everything about this heartwarming story, it has wonderful characters, it’s beautifully written but it’s was the children that really stole my heart. Look forward to my next visit to Trinity Falls.

Sarah Robinson leaves behind her successful job to purchase a bookstore in Trinity Falls, a place she’s dreamed of returning to since her family left when she was a child. Of the many places her family lived during her childhood, Trinity Falls was the only town that felt like home. She’s thrilled to return, even after finding the bookshop hasn’t been kept up.

Brody Webb feels sorry for the city girl who bought his uncle’s shop. How long would it be before she gave up on the small-town bookstore and returned to the big city? Brody’s own wife had divorced him and left him, his farm, and their children to pursue a brilliant career. Brody can’t allow himself to fall for Sarah, no matter how much his avid-reading daughter loves her.

Sarah’s growing friendship with Brody and his children blossoms into more, but there’s no sign that the confirmed bachelor returns her feelings.

This book was a page-turner for me! The children definitely made the story more poignant for me. Neither the hero nor the heroine has a high opinion of their own appeal to the opposite sex, which adds to the story’s tension.

This well-written book is a feel-good story.

I will look for more books by this author. Recommended for readers of contemporary romances.

If you want a short getaway to the perfect small town Trinity Falls is calling you. It has been calling Sarah for years. She only lived there a couple of years as a child, but moving so much with her parents it was the only place that felt like home. And when the opportunity came to buy the quirky little bookshop, she bought it sight unseen. The actual store is vastly different than her childhood memories. Basically a total gut job! And there are mice droppings everywhere. Scaring her half to death was the most handsome man is ever encountered standing in her bookshop.
Brody has a been checking on his uncle bookshop while he is away with his new love of his life. Not realizing that the new owner has just arrived in town and was also in the store. Giving her a scare wasn’t what he wanted and to make up for it he offers her to help her with anything she might need. What he didn’t expect was that she would call.
Or that she would befriend his kids.
As always an enjoyable read with a little of a mystery. Was nice to see the older child taking such an important part of the story. #CowboysBookshopBride #TrinityFalls

We are back in Trinity Falls with another sweet, touching ,and clean romance in this quaint Pennsylvania town. A place where everyone knows you.
When Sarah Robinson was 11 years old, her parents had moved to Trinity Falls. A quiet child who felt plain, found refuge in books, spending any free time at the library or the local bookstore. Even after she left, she kept in touch with the owner always telling him she would be interested in buying the bookstore.
That day came. Leaving behind her managing position in an established bookstore, Sarah is ready for her new adventure.
Whom she never expected to meet, was Brody Webb, the former owner’s nephew. A single Dad of two adorable kids. Kids who embrace the warmth Sarah provides.
As they get to know each other, they secretly have feelings for the other. Neither feeling worthy of the other.
Will they be able to overcome their personal obstacles to find their HEA? Will the arrival of Brody’s ex put a damper on Sarah’s hope?
Will the town embrace Sarah and the new store?
This was another sweet addition to the series. One perfect to read on an afternoon of leisure.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Once again, Claire Pines takes us back to Trinity Falls for another heartwarmingly sweet romance story.
Our hero is Brody, a handsome cowboy single dad of two adorable kids. Due to his past relationships he is not interested in opening up his heart and falling in love.
However, he was yet to meet new to town and bookshop owner Sarah. Sarah was such a sweet, kind, giving and understanding heroine. You can't not find her loveable.
I just adored the bond the she formed with both Brody's young son Sam and his preteen daughter Maddy. It was really special, in particular how she really helped Maddy to come out of her shell.

While both Brody and Sarah felt an instant connection/attraction their story was a slooooowww burning sweet romance.
I enjoyed their relationship development from friends to lovers and loved seeing them come together as a sweet little family.

No steam, just a beautifully written sweet romance story!

I keep falling deeper in love with Clara Pines sweet, romantic words.
In book four, we meet former Trinity Falls resident, Sarah. She lived here briefly as an adolescent but has never forgotten the Bookshop. Now that she is an adult, she lives in the city but longs for life in Trinity Falls. When the opportunity arises for her to own the Bookshop, her dreams come true. When she arrives in Trinity Falls, she realizes that her heart has never left and there is now so much more for her to love including Brody and his children.
Brody is convinced that love will never be in the cards for him again. He is happy with working the family farm and loves his time with his children. When someone purchases his uncle's bookshop, he never expects that the new owner will fill his heart and love his children as much as he does.
The problem is that both Sarah and Brody do not feel worthy of love, nor do they feel that they can fulfill each others dreams and resign themselves to just be friends.

I absolutely love the worlds Clara Pines creates in every book! This one transports us to a charming small town with so much nostalgia. Right away I fell in love with Sarah. She has such a kind, sunny, open heart. She longs for that one place that felt like home from a childhood of constant uprooting. I related to her so much. My family moved every 1 1/2-2 years while I was growing up but there was 1 place we lived twice that I always felt was "home". Brody was a great leading man! He has 2 wonderful kids that are his world 😊. He gets swoon points just for that! You add in a run down bookshop getting fixed, grumpiness, a mystery to solve, friendships forming, nosy neighbors, family, and cats, and you have a book that you just can't put down. Literally, I read it through in one sitting!!! It was amazing! Her other books before this one are great also! If you haven't read them, you should ❤️

4.5 STARS - ROUNDED UP

This is my only 3rd book by this author, and I really enjoyed her writing style. The stories pull you in because the characters are so engaging. Great main and secondary characters and as in the other books I've read, the kids add a nice touch.

Story is clean with only kisses. I did get somewhat frustrated with the H in his reasons for not wanting to take a chance on the h. The h proved time and again she was opposite of his ex-wife. Also, I didn't care for the houseguest the H had over the holidays.

I enjoyed how the mystery was solved who the author was. I was so wrong, and I liked that twist. No cheating, no cliffhanger, standalone, HEA and clean. There is an extended bonus you need to download separate. I did get enjoyment out of the extended bonus, but I'm not a fan of any author when you need to download.

I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase. (ljb)

Cowboy's Bookshop Bride is an heartwarming, sweet story.

Sarah Robinson is Trinity Falls' new bookshop owner, she came from the big city and the towners look her every move. Brody Webb is a farmer who helps the new comer to make her shop ready to reopen.

Sarah and Brody have different life experiences, the first followed her parents for their multiple relocations, the latter only knows his small town, but now as adults they both want to stay put and enjoy the beauty of Trinity Falls.

Sarah is a very kind and generous woman, with some insecurities that make her even more relatable. Brody is a good and handsome man, with strong family bonds. Their relationship grows organically, at the beginning they support each other, then they build a nice friendship that blossom in something more when they overcome their fears and they allow themselves the happiness they deserve.

This was the first time I read Clara Pines work, I've enjoyed her writing style, her characters were interesting and the small town depictions were charming.

I hope the author has more of these nice stories in store for us.

Yet again, Claire Pine has sprinkled the best romantic fairy dust, as for the fourth time, I fell under the spell of Trinity Falls and was more than excited to jump into the winter snow globe that reminds me of this small town, the warm glow and that squeegee feeling stayed with me long after I turned the last page, one date Webb, as Brody our handsome cowboy single dad of two is known as is about to fall under the spell of new bookshop owner Sarah, and what makes this even more wonderful, is the instant bond Sarah forms with his two children, his preteen daughter Maddy and his younger son Sam, the mystery that Maddy and her friend undertake made this story all the more perfect I adored Mr Fluffpants, Jr, a cat who sleeps more than chases mouse, and the little bump in the snow for Brody and Sarah was nothing that they couldn't overcome.

This is now my favorite book in the series. I loved everything about this book. This book is definitely a dream of mine. Sarah bought the bookshop in Trinity Falls and ends up with a couple bookshop cats. That right there is a dream of mine. Being surrounded by books, people who love books, and cats; sign me up! Then you have Brody and his two awesome children. Sam is such a cutie. then Maddy with her love of books on the cusp of being a teenager, but still knows what is important. I really loved watching the friendship blossom between her and Emily. This book definitely packs all the heart and feels. Another favorite of mine this book takes place during the holiday season. This is a book that I would want to reread several times. The mystery that also takes place is this book was intriguing and cute for the girls to figure out. This is a must read! I highly recommend!!

I think this might be my favorite book in the series so far-possibly because I've always dreamed of opening a bookshop just like Sarah! I liked how Brody was so helpful from the beginning, but tried to convince himself it wasn't because he had feelings for Sarah! I loved how Sarah's relationship developed with Maddy, giving her the perfect space to be herself. Ms. Pines ability to write adult/child relationships so well has become a hallmark of the Trinity Falls Sweet Romance series & is my favorite part of these books. The relationship between Sarah & Maddy is probably my favorite so far. I also like the consideration given to how the adult relationships will affect the kids. So many times kids in romance novels are just there for the "cute factor", but Ms. Pines managed to make them the focus of the books along with the adults without losing her focus on the romance.

Cowboy’s Bookshop Bride

Sarah and Brody have a really sweet and cute story. Brody is a single father known for his handsome face as well as his pension for going on only one date. Sarah has had one dream since she was a very young girl. She has wanted to be the owner of the Trinity Falls bookstore. After years of working in a large chain bookstore while saving her money, she is finally realizing her dream. Buying the store “as is” from Brody’s uncle, she finds more problems than she expected. She meets the Brody her first day in town and he volunteers to help her. Sarah falls in love with his children while he is helping her. He admires her for the way she has helped his children. Will a relationship work between them?

A Nice, Sweet HEA

Pines writes a lovely story that unfolds in a realistic and not too slow pace. It moves along but I was able to savor the pace of Sarah's adjustment from big city to small town and the wise and meaningful way she became a part of the community. Clara Pines thought out her characters well and I found myself wishing I was more like Sarah as she saw the younger people around her and drew them close. Brady as well as the community were all so likeable yet realistic and I found myself reminiscent of a gentler time when Christmas was a bit kinder and loving.
It you want realism, feel good and relaxing reading that satisfies the soul, this is a boom I can easily recommend for any age.

Clean and sweet small town romance.....
This was a wonderful feel good read, you catch yourself smiling throughout. The kids steal the show. There is definitely friendship brewing, and some attraction. However, there isn't a lot of chemistry and not much romance at all. This was still a wonderful read, I have read all of them in the series and will continue to do so. This little town and characters are a dream. They can all be read as a standalones, but you get so much more reading them all. Great series!!

I received an ARC copy and I am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

This book is another entertaining, heartwarming, very readable story by Clara Pines. The MCs, Brody and Sarah, are amiable, hard-working, caring and down-to-earth people who deserve their HEA. I love the author's descriptions of the other characters in the story, especially Brody's children. The small town setting, Trinity Falls, is like another beautiful character in and of itself. I cannot say enough good things about Clara Pines' stories, they are all page turners with believable characters and uplifting plots.

A New Life… But Is It Meant to Be?

This has been the most intriguing of the Trinity Falls Books. Sara lived in Trinity Falls for a short time as a young girl. When she learns she has the opportunity to purchase the local bookstore, she seizes the opportunity. Yet other things await her in Trinity Falls… a romantic interest, other new friends, and a mystery surrounding the author of a popular series set in a town with an uncanny resemblance to Trinity Falls. Yet there are obstacles to overcome. Sara must look within herself to determine if her heart has found a home or if she move on to seek other opportunities.

Cowboy's Bookshop Bride is book 4 in the Trinity Falls Series by Clara Pines.

If you dream of owning a bookstore and living in the perfect small town and meeting the perfect guy, this book is for you.

This series is full of clean, simple romances, but this one has been my favorite so far. Both main characters are likable and relatable. The kids are fun and speak appropriately for their ages (they are older than the kids in the previous books), but that has been my grievance with the kids in the previous books (ie: young toddlers singing songs). But these kids are great. This entire book was enjoyable, and I am looking forward to reading the next one.

This sweet romance truly touched my heart. I don't think there is any way that you can stop yourself falling for Sarah and Brody. The chemistry between term is so easy to feel and the way they both want to try to protect their hearts is so relatable. The story itself is an engaging and entertaining blend of heart, emotion, drama, and a bit of mystery that welcomes you right in and makes you supremely happy to linger. Another wonderful addition for a lovely series. This is my objective, elective review.

Sarah Robinson had dreamed of moving back to Trinity Falls and owning a bookshop. Brody Webb was a rancher with two children who both loved to read. His ex-wife. Trina had wanted a divorce and did not want the children. Brody decided he was too boring for anyone to want to marry him. The place Sarah bought belonged to his Uncle. Brody had been going over periodically to make sure everything was working in the empty shop. I loved how Sarah got to know everyone in town. Her and Brody were a perfect match. It just took them awhile to admit it.

Beautiful and fun!

There’s so much to love about this story. Two people who feel inadequate finding out they are more than enough: two children finding the family their hearts desire: a town loving on its own: a mystery that makes the journey more fun. I’ve never read a book before that made me love the evil ex, but even the seemingly bad guy turns out to be lovable. I highly recommend this book and this series.

I read Cowboy's bookshop bride by Clara Pines through the Kindle Unlimited program. Another great book in the Trinity Falls series. I loved getting to know Sarah, Brody, Maddy, and Sam. I so enjoyed thar most of this book took place in a book ship. One of my favorite, Happy places along with libraries. The added bonus of the mystery around who was the author was a very nice touch. This was another great book in a really great series that I just can't get enough of.
