Ну не такий і треш. Хоч і дивно то все, Беллі (чи як її) сміливо заходить у замок, чувак, який сидить в замку, бо йому тикають пальцем і кажуть "Ти монстр", в мене і погірше було, а тут прям квіточка, якась, зважаючи, що він міг, бляха, знайти докази своєї невинуватості, що і зробив наприкінці книги🙂 Доглядальниці Поттер (мг, десь в світі плаче Джоан Ролінґ) взагалі все норм
Але сподобалась таємничість, типу він прямо сказав "во мнє загадка, розгадуй мене"😂 але все ж оті недоречні, от взагалі недоречні сцени сексу

A quick and cute retelling of beauty and the beast. Heroine is offered refuge from a snowstorm in a cabin owned by the reclusive hero. They immediately fall for each other but when the heroine discovers his secret, she runs away. Is their love powerful enough to overcome his secret?
It’s a rhetorical question…we all know the answer.
Bottom line, this was fast, fun and cute.
Safe. Hero was married before but he’s been celibate for a while. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. No ow/om, no sharing or cheating or abuse. HEA with epilogue

Bailey (h) seeks refuge during a blizzard at the mountain mansion home of Liam (H), a recluse who avoids society. The pair find themselves drawn together and things heat up between the two very quickly. But Liam is hiding a secret and Bailey knows it has to do with the room she’s not allowed to enter. Sweet BATB inspired instalove quickie with a side of heat and a little bit of mystery.

hardheaded-ness is not charming
Beauty and the Recluse is a pretty average instalove story, but what makes it somewhat insufferable is the character trait given to the heroine that made her a stubborn mule who doesn’t respect boundaries. Bailey gets the generosity of being taken care of when she was in trouble and was only given the instruction to not go into a specific room. And what does she do? Goes into the forbidden room and then cries about it, acting like the victim when she gets caught and then get herself in physical danger wherein requires another rescuing. I mean what exactly does she contribute to their relationship apart from lust remediation?
Liam was the dumber one for even entertaining that personality trait of hers and deeming it as charming. Obviously Bailey is too immature to handle much less respect people’s feelings as she’s too busy satisfying her own. How is she any different from Liam’s ex wife? Hope he still got that pre-nup. This romance was a well and true bust.

A nicely written novella with a steamy happily ever after romance which also has great characters, a page turner that’s also easy to read.
The novella is about a young woman trying to make it back to her apartment and college after visiting her father but gets caught up in a snow stop but she finds a castle in the mountains that she takes shelter in only to fall in love with the owner of the castle and to also find out his tragic story he has been hiding.
When she first gets to the castle the owner is like a beast towards her but even with that the two can tell there's something going on between them. As the owner shows her to the room she will be staying at he also shows her a door that he tells her not to go into. The young woman finds out that the storm isn’t to let up for several days and the owner lets her email her father telling him what happened and that she’s okay. Also during this time they talk and he finds out about her liking of books so he shows her to the library.
It’s not long before she can’t get the room she’s not allowed to go into out of her head so one night she goes into the room. She finds the owner's wife's things in it. The owner finds her in the room demanding her to leave the room but she doesn’t just leave the room she gets boots and a coat on and leaves the castle. He follows her, grabbing her when she almost falls into a pond and taking her back to the castle. Once back in the castle and in her room they talk, they kiss, he gives her oral sex before they have sex.
During the rest of her time there the two are together doing everything together but the storm has stopped and she will have to go soon. The day of her leaving comes and before she leaves they both tell one another that they love each other. The young woman wants to think of the owner the way he is at the moment so she has him stay at the castle as she goes back to her car, she tells him before she goes that she will get in contact with him after she gets home.
She gets home but she can’t handle talking to the owner so she texts him but she calls her father, crying. The young woman has been trying to get the owner out of her head for a week when she gets home from classes to find the owner standing at her apartment door waiting for her. The owner couldn’t live without her. The owner stays with her and they go to the castle during the weekends and on vacation they visit her father.
A month later they wind up moving her father into the castle. Her father and the housekeeper are getting close. The owner has a private investigator get information on his ex wife and he gives the information to a newspaper so people won’t think he did anything to his wife, his wife only wanted his money and once she got what she wanted she ran off with another man.
It’s their one month anniversary, when she gets home from her classes she finds a rose at her door and once she goes inside she finds rose petals leading to the owner. The owner is on his knees, he asks her to marry him and she tells him yes. They kiss and they go to the couch where they have sex. Afterwards they tell one another how much they love one another.

This was a great modern remake of Beauty and the Beast. The author truly nailed the Beauty and the Beast vibes with the settings, scenery, and characters. And the writing was excellent. All of which made this a quick, steamy, and swoony read.
Seeking shelter during a crazy snowstorm, Bailey ends up on the doorstep of Liam's mansion. Liam has spent the last years alone in his mansion, with only his housekeeper, and isn't exactly what you'd call a social butterfly. In fact, he is quite the opposite of that. Quiet, brooding, mysterious. You can't really blame a girl for being curious and wanting to find out more about the handsome man, now can you?
If you're looking for a modern Disney remake with mystery, sweetness, and spice—and of course a virgin heroine and dirty-talking hero—all mixed together, then this is the novella for you.

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Bailey doesn’t heed the warnings when she decides to make the journey home after visiting with her father, travelling over the mountain in a snowstorm there was only really going to be one way that this was going to end and that was her stuck in her broken-down car. She had one of two choices to make and that was to stay in her car and wait out the storm or try to make her way back to the house she had recently passed and hope that the house is occupied and that they will take pity on her, never when she knocked on that door that she was going to meet a man who will change her world forever. Her instant attraction to Liam catches her off guard and although he lets her stay reluctantly the need to know him shocks her, but this man has dark secrets that could destroy this fragile connection they have bult but what will happen when the snow thaws and it is time for her leave will she be able to walk away or can she show Liam a life worth living away from his reclusive life?
Liam had learned the hard way not to trust when the woman he had thought was his forever had shown him that love wasn’t all hearts and roses after she had stolen some of his fortune and left him with rumours over what had happened between them and had retreated into his home and blocked out the rest of the world. That is until the night that Bailey comes knocking on his door in the middle of a severe snowstorm needing to take refuge. He knows that he cant let her freeze and letting her into his home is a risk not knowing if she is genuinely in trouble or yet another person trying to find put what happened to his now ex-wife. He knows what they think of him and think they know what happened when his wife vanished, but spending time with Bailey he feels his walls start to crumble and letting her in to his heart becomes inevitable but when her time here comes to an end will she stay or leave him behind, could he be willing to try living back in the day to day world or will he break his own heart when he watches her leave?
This was such a cute retelling of my favorite fairy tale that I really enjoyed. Bailey was super sweet, and Liam was perfectly beastly trying to guard his heart from being broken again. Highly recommended short steamy read. 4*

Part of the Happily Ever After Mountain each book can be read as a standalone a retailing of Beauty and the Beast one of my all time favorite movie a sexy recluse and the girl who captures his heart. Liam sexy as all get out recluse likes it that way he was betrayed by someone he thought he could trust, so choosing to shut himself away is best and being alone gives little chance of being hurt ever again. Bailey sweet, always with a ready smile or kind words for anyone and when she gets stuck in a snow storm knocking on the door of the only place she saw begging for a little help. Liam is a recluse but he isn’t heartless so when the beautiful young women knocks on his door of course he lets her in out the storm changing their paths. The attraction was instant, it was insanely intense, and the chemistry is off the charts spending time with one another waiting out the storm learning they are more alike than different him fighting himself because the very essence of her makes him want to trust, to love but can he trust what he is feeling. But the more time he spends with her the more his walls come down but what happens when everything he tries to keep hidden come to light, will she run or stick around, will she help him heal she has already started smoothing out the rough edges but is it enough and can they find their own HEA?.

Liam has become a recluse after he made the mistake of marrying a woman who wanted him only for his money. Within a year his wife had disappeared with a lot of his money. Bailey O’Hara is a sweet young woman stuck in the middle of an intense snow storm that finds herself knocking on the door of Benson’s home. Liam is immediately concerned for Bailey’s well-being and invites her inside to stay until the storm passes… in about a week. Their chemistry is undeniable and I love that Liam softened to Bailey right away. He never thought he could feel love or trust someone again, but Bailey slowly proved him wrong. He just has to hope the secrets in his past don’t jeopardize their future together.
Liam was dreamy. He was dominant, possessive, and a sweet talker. I *love* stories where the grumpy hero starts softening towards the beauty fairly quickly. Bailey was such a sweet heroine and it was obvious that she is exactly what Liam needed. This was such a great instalove novella that I will definitely be reading again!

Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite fairy tale. I was thrilled to see that one of my new favorite authors, Cassi Hart, had written a retelling adding in spicy scenes and the absolute best ending! Bailey and Liam are grumpy sunshine perfection! He’s a grumpy recluse with an interesting reason for being that way. Bailey is sunshine incarnate who finds herself stuck in a snow storm with Liam as her only source of help. I loved his secrets and how they affected this retelling. I also absolutely adored Bailey and Liam together. They were both incredibly sweet as well as scorchingly steamy. All blended into a fantastic romance that you can read in less than an hour.

A wonderful story that you can get lost in. We get a glimpse into the lives of Bailey and Liam. Liam has had a rough time at the hands of his ex-wife and prefers to spend his time on top of a mountain in his childhood home and does not see, speak or see anyone until Bailey comes to his house to shelter from the snow storm. Liam isn't happy about it at first, but as they spend more time together, feelings come to the surface and there is a strong attraction and chemistry between them and lots of passion and steam. Will she stay with him when she finds out his secrets or will she stay with him and help heal him to get a hea together?

Grumpy and sunshine find love after being stuck together.
I really liked this short instalove story a lot. It was a quick read but still entertaining and enjoyable even though I wanted more. The characters were interesting and likable. Liam and Bailey seemed like complete opposites in demeanor but they were really very good together. Bailey was very much the sunshiny one to his grumpy self which Liam needed in order to reclaim his zest for life. There were questions that I would have liked to have answered but all in all the story was sweet but steamy with a little bit of angst. I liked the way the story ended. I do wish that there was more, but that’s because I’m greedy. I recommend reading this book.

Beauty and The Recluse is a short and spicy twist on Beauty and the Beast. It is an OTT, grumpy-sunshine, age gap, girl gets her quiet billionaire romance. Bailey is a young book blogger caught in a snowstorm. Liam is a hunky recluse living in a mansion in the mountains and avoiding the public. When Bailey is unable to get home in the snowstorm, she finds Liam's mansion and asks for help. He allows her to stay until the storm passes. The more time they spend together, the more attracted they are to one another, until it gets hot 🔥. But what secrets is Liam hiding? Why does he avoid people? Can these two make love work, or is it a fling? They had amazing chemistry, and we got our HEA after a little bit of angst.

I know I am being biased because growing up Beauty and the Beast was and still is my all time favorite fairytale and I love fairytale retellings but I loved this book! It was the perfect length short story. While it drew ideas from the original story it was still original. The authors detailed description of the snowy setting put me right there in the story. The sexy scenes were on fire.
If you love Fairytale retellings with a little spice and looking for something short I would recommend this book.

Bailey a disaster in general, is also a beautiful woman who is sometimes short on planning but who falls for a recluse named Liam. Liam experienced issues with an old lover who left some major trust scars on him. Bailey was able to break through all that and show Liam he as all man and definitely a man she could fall in love with. And that is just what happens after a bit of a separation where Liam resolves his trust issues and gets his thoughts in line, because he knows he just can't live without Bailey, and he is right he can't. Good quick 1 hour read. Nice feel-good book.

This was a very cute Fairytale retailing with Bailey and Liam. After getting sucking in a winter storm. Bailey seeks out refuged and finds Liam. These two are drawn to each but Bailey and Liam have some ups and downs that get in the way. I enjoyed the sweetness but also the steam bet these two and I am looking forward to more from Cassie.

This is a steamy retelling of Beauty and the Beast, set in the Adirondack Mountains of New York during a winter blizzard. It's got lots of heat, some sweetly tender and caring moments and follows the fairy tale pretty closely.

This was a cute fairytale retelling romance. It was a short story with a good pace. Bailey and Liam was brought together by a blizzard and during that their chemistry became obvious. I liked this take on Beauty and the Beast.

This was a good quick take on my favorite fairy tale. Liam and Bailey made a great couple. Their chemistry was sizzling from the first meeting. My only complaint is that it took so long for him to go to her but that was just me wanting their happy ending sooner. It was a good book.

This one was much better than the previous one. (I also may be biased since Beauty and the Beast is a favorite, and Belle is obviously the best Disney Princess...)
The dialogue (specifically during spicy times) is still cringe af but the storytelling is much better here than the previous book.

Це міг би бути дуже непоганий ретеллінг, але це було занадто коротко, занадто поверхнево і в цілому - занадто погано. В новелі складно нормально розкрити історію і героїв через її невеликий розмір. А ця історія була взагалі крихітною. Я не буду писати відгук, який легко міг би бути більшим, ніж ця новела, просто скажу, що це даремно витрачені 20 хвилин життя.

Beauty and the Recluse is Cassi Hart’s sexy steamy adults only version of the fairytale Beauty and the Beast. Bailey and Liam have an interesting situation and undeniably hot chemistry. I love how he opens up to her, and she to him, in their own ways. The setting is fun, and the plot loosely follows the children’s fairytale, making this a quick and fun adult bedtime story.

I absolutely love this adorable hot take on beauty and the beast. This book gives us secluded mountain man Liam and sweet Bailey who is lost during a blizzard. This girl cracks every wall in this beasts heart, and I adore their perfect ending. Cassi is one of my all-time favorite authors.

Moves way too fast
I really enjoy Cassi Harts writing but I feel like the last two books I’ve read by her have moved way too fast and it’s actually been quite laughable how cheesy they are, which unfortunately has put me off
