Davidson King, always had a hope that someday her daydreams would become real-life stories. As a child, you would often find her in her own world, thinking up the most insane situations. It may have taken her awhile, but she made her dream come true with her first published work, Snow Falling.
She managed to wrangle herself a husband who matched her crazy and they hatched three wonderful children.
If you were to ask her what gave her the courage to finally publish, she’d tell you it was her amazing family and friends. Support is vital in all things and when you’re afraid of your dreams, it will be your cheering section that will lift you up.
My HEART MELTED for Ben and Crew! I absolutely enjoyed this M/M ROMANCE between a boss and his employee! It has a little dark theme to it as it talks about a dark past in it in which the hurt/comfort comes in! The spice was perfect and the story was enjoyable!! Would definitely recommend!!
This was really nice. We usually get dark, gritty stories from Davidson, so this one was pretty lighthearted and sweet by comparison. I didn't read the original short story, but I liked this one. It must definitely be an upgrade
Ben owns Supernal, a high-class escort service. He is a very private man, but his behavior seems to hint at past pains. When the service loses two escorts simultaneously, Crew is hired to fill one of the positions. Crew is a top escort in the business and he has set his sites at working at Supernal. Crew is respectful, but also humorous, insightful, and challenging to Ben. The attraction is strong, but Ben holds up his walls. Can these two find their way to love when one is determined to stand off and the other works as an escort? This novella has tender passion and a path toward healing and lifelong love.
I first read Just for Tonight through the YBBB promotion early in 2022. I enjoyed the story. Ben, the owner of Supernal, is a character who has been marked by grief. He struggles each day with guilt and remorse. He has kept himself separate from everyone, especially his employees at the high-end male bordello. When Crew arrives as his new employee, Ben finds himself struggling to maintain his distance. Crew is able to see behind Ben’s cool front and determined to be there to provide comfort to him. Just for Tonight has a lot of promise as the start of a new series. The secondary characters were interesting and have potential. I would love to see more about each employee including the support staff. I enjoyed the relationship between Ben and Crew.
I received a copy of Just for Tonight from the author. I read it and wrote an honest review.
Ben is harboring a painful past. He's shut down and merely surviving. Crew comes barrelling into his life like a whirlwind. As they get to know one another Crew is able to help Ben heal and acknowledge that he deserves to be loved. Crew was so sweet, funny and protective of Ben who so desperately needed that. The connection between them was instantaneous and scorching hot. I would absolutely love more from this world.
I had the pleasure of reading this book as part of the YBBB giveaway. I was excited to read it again. Ben and Crew were so adorable and I loved them together. I loved that Crew went after what he wanted with pure confidence, even when Ben tried to keep him at arm's length. I loved the Ben finally got to a point where he was ready and open to accept love again. This was such a good novella. I wanted more from this book. I hope we get mor from this universe.
I really enjoyed Ben and Crew's story. Ben was closed off from a past tragedy but Crew helped him to see that life was worth living and loving again. The the second Crew saw Ben he knew he needed to work for Supernal and be by this man's side. Not only is Supernal the greatest and most superior escort service in the country it lead by the most sexiest man alive. Crew will have him and love him for the rest of their days. Great beginning to a new series.
Review to Come The first time I read this I couldn't add it here, it had no ISBN. Now Davidson King has released Crew and Ben for purchase and wider access with an ISBN so I can review it. And oh this book is worth it. The charming and magnetic Crew is an escort, the newest hire of Supernal, Ben's exclusive and elite all-male, gay escort agency. Ben is just a tragic and pained character. Their story is just beautiful.
Just For Tonight by Davidson King was a quick read but it was perfect the way it was written. And there's all the feels and some traumatic experiences but off-page but you can definitely feel the traumatic scene.
Another hit for Davidson King, I loved this and I really hope it’s the start of another great series. Crew and Ben are adorable and I’d love to read more from Supernal . Highly recommended
Just For Tonight by Davidson King was a quick read that was paced just right. I devoured this story and loved it. Ben, the owner of Supernal, is a loner with painful secrets. Crew is his new employee and and danger to his heart. Ben and Crew's story is a sweet and touching story.
This author has another hit on her hands! Ben owns Supernatural, a high class gay escort service. He is a very private person and has dark secrets that his employees don’t know about. Crew wants to be the best and work for the best that means working for Ben at Supernatural. Crew is cocky, and knows how to get under Ben’s skin and push his buttons. Can Crew get Ben to open up his heart to the possibility of a relationship again?
