Cole and his crew are no strangers to bad breaks. That's just life. With a war waging in Anypsian territory, it doesn't matter that their task is complete. Gray is family, and you don't turn your back on family. His memories remain elusive, and enemy forces continue to work behind the scenes in their quest for power. To stop them, Cole teams up with the shadowy organization known as Chaos.
The first order of business is to find a missing Anypsian with vital information and bring her in. There's just one problem—no one knows what side of the war she's on.
Once a Renegade, always a Renegade.
Tracking down someone who doesn't want to be caught on an unfamiliar planet is hard enough. Add a parasitic race of aliens and more secrets into the mix, and this new job is going to be a real doozy, but Cole was raised to finish what he started and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty in order to find the truth and put an end to this war.
With a loyal crew, determination, and maybe a dash of luck, Cole has a fighting chance to come out on top.
But this time, the stakes are higher than ever, and winning one battle doesn’t equal victory.
Anypsia has secrets, some as old as life itself. Secrets that in the wrong hands will wreak havoc across this galaxy and change the future.
Cole and company have been battling against the controller infestation far from home and now at Gray’s home world. They can’t allow the controllers to get access to the Precursor’s secret facility. Failure could lead to enslavement of all races. Problem is the controllers have a lead on Cole and his crew. Bone weary and minimal staff, they have no choice be to fight to the end and hope they succeed!
What a book! It has action, romance, sword fights, and true love. Oh wait..... That's the princess bride.
This book definitely has action, great battle scenes, intrigue, and a really epic story. There were some twists and turns I definitely didn't see coming and the ending was really awesome! I can't wait for the next book to see how they're going to survive this one. Definitely worth a read if you enjoyed the other five books.
I liked the story but I have more questions than answers...
In what became a choice of decisions made with few if any clues, Riker and his crew stumbled from situation to situation. When guided towards an action, did he follow the correct course. Time will tell. Personally, l am looking forward to the next book!
Like all his novels I've read they are fun and don't require much brain power to follow. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy his books but they are a bit predictable. I guess if I wanted to get bogged down I'd read heavily stuff but for now, this is where I choose to go. Thanks for the fun reading.
Great series. A hodgepodge crew of misfits to save the galaxy. what could possibly go wrong? Well worth the read. From book one, the characters grow, and the plot expands creating a need to turn the page. The way it is written you get the history of the universe as a necessary part of dealing with the present
Not sure what direction this story arc is going, but i would not be surprised if the Iron Druid made an appearance. With all the talks of ancient gods and their meddling, this series is less science fiction nd more space fantasy. Not completely turned off, but not the direction i thought this Renegade universe was heading.
Can't wait for the next book in the series. They just keep getting better with each on. Now while waiting for the next installment I will restart with book one. Mike
Way too much detail about minutiae. A woman would probably like this. ( not being sexist)Women are more detail oriented than most men. I liked the previous books this one was so involved with details I lost the story.
The authors have created an outstanding collection of stories that will keep you glued to your seat and Rob you of any sleep! Can’t wait for book 7 to pop! Thank you for the marvelous story telling!
The worldbuilding is endlessly fascinating, and the cast of characters is marvelous. The hints of romance and moments of humor splendidly round out the adventure. Sunny continues to be awkwardly funny.
Who would have thought that so much could go wrong in so many places! This book was hard to put down due to all the craziness. How the characters survived all the trials and life-threatening things kept me on the edge of my seat!
What a crazy story. While I think there are too many similarities with our real world, including using the word Heaven, it is fine by me. This was a really action packed story and I loved it.
Thoroughly engaging. Characters have been built along the way and gotten progressively more interesting. I have 3 more books to read and I’m looking forward to reading them.
Hmmm, they accomplished the task that they set out to achieve and now they have an entirely different threat that is presenting itself. What will Riker do next?
