Fame and fortune come with a price.
Life is pretty sweet when you’re Declan Holmes. Playing guitar for one of the hottest bands in the country has a lot of perks–like tons of women. This book is amazing! It keeps you on the edge of your seat. These two have passion from the beginning all the way to the end. I love the way these two don't know why they are so good together till the end. It leaves you wanting to stay till the end of the book. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series!

Heather MacKinnon has done it once again! Just when you think she can’t possibly find another storyline to keep your interest - BAM! You’re sucked into the wolfie world and nothing else matters until you finish!
Declan and Willow’s story will keep you fixated until the turn of the last page. It is full of emotion, humor, a little steam and a whole lotta action!
I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

Okay, I love a book where I fall in the with the characters from the start! Definitely a story I couldn't put down. When I couldn't be reading, I was thinking about what would be happening with Declan and Willow!!!!

Ooo, this book got me back in my reading groove. I couldn't put it down and finished it crazy fast.
Declan is super sweet, goofy, and rockstar all in one. He made me laugh about his sword and his seriousness 🤣
Willow was so cute and hardworking. I'm not sure how she actually resisted Declan as best as she did while she was working.
Then you know a bit of drama happens and they realise they are fated *swoon* add a bit more drama and a happily ever after and that's the book.
BUT we also met the other members from Phase! And I can't wait to see what happens with them.. especially that moody Roman.

This one was a fast paced whirlwind rockstar shifter romance. I devoured it this morning it's steamy and cute. First book by the author and I'm going to be checking out her other shifter books

I have loved every book that Author Heather Mackinnon has written with the Southern Werewolves book. Rhythm is no different, it's a funny fast paced book that will draw you in and keep you on your Toes.
Declan is a Guitarist for the Band Phase, and soon he finds what he never thought he would have, but at what price will Declan have to pay to claim what is rightfully his?
Willow is just trying to make it out of her small town alive and stay her small humbled self, no limelight in her future. But can a simple girl like her fight the attraction she feels for the one werewolf who is bound and determined to make her his, or will she succumb to the pressure that is quickly placed upon her to make a choice that could end her or could save her life.
Things quickly take a turn and a mystery unfolds, can Declan figure out who and what they want and keep those around him safe from the threat that is looming over them.
I can't wait to see where the Southern Werewolf Rockstar series leads us, and to see the new Characters unfold in pages of this new adventure in this series.

This book absolutely deserves 5 stars and nothing less than that!!! Heather Mackinnon continues her Werewolf series with this new book that stars Declan and Willow. Declan is a ladies man who isn't looking to settle down. Willow is serious and not looking for someone like Declan. Neither are looking for one another to complicate their lives, but what happens when that is exactly what happens?
This book was a really fun book! It also had it's moments of steamy scenes. Declan has appeared in previous books and is still the life of the party! When he meets Willow he definitely meets his match. I love these characters so much. Mackinnon knows just how to make her characters relateable and feel like people you would want to be friends with. They just have that added layer of having paranormal rockstar problems. That doesn't make their issues any less normal though. I loved the mystery that surrounded who was after them. I had no idea who it was, but in the end it made so much sense!!! I can't wait to find out which band memeber is up for the next book. Grab this book today! I promise you will not regret it!

Life is not amazing when you are Willow Greene, working for a catering business, still stuck at home and just trying to save up enough to get out on her own. What happens when Declan meets Willow and is drawn to her? Willow is forced into the limelight and out of her quiet life. But, with great fame comes crazy fans. Will this lifestyle become too much for her or will she let love and fated mates conquer all?
This was so lovely! I loved every minute of this! I have to have more!!! Declan is so charming and Willow is the embodiment of every small town girl that has always wanted more. The brother and mother made me giggle endlessly. This was perfect!

Anything this Author writes is just amazing. It's like when you watch a new movie in your favorite series and you just know it's going to be amazing. That's like her books. I just buy and read it and love every single second of it. Her books have everything you want....some action, tons of humor and are just sexy as sin.
Literally the first sentence of the book had me just laughing. Declan is such a character, numerous times i just busted out laughing at things he did or said. He is charismatic, funny as hell, of course good looking and such a sweetheart. I loved watching the relationship between Declan and Willow grow. You could just feel the chemistry between them. And this book was just something I couldn't put down. It had me on my toes and excited to see what came next.

Declan has easily become one of my favorite characters; I adore his antics and sense of humor. You can read this as a standalone but if you prefer more background on Declan (to really get to know more about his character) I highly recommend reading the previous Southern Werewolves books since all the characters have connections. All these books are really like their own little universe, I can’t wait to read every time there’s a new book released.

I loved Declan! His never give up personality when he was wooing willow. From the beginning the chemistry between the two was crazy. Willow playing hard to get especially when Declan is so gorgeous and nice and of course famous. Like any famous person they have their crazy fans , Declan is no exception . Things got kind of dicey for Declan and willow . I’m so happy with the ending , I just love this book!

This was a good read. I mostly enjoyed it with the exception that in my opinion it's not really a shifter book. The characters were basically clueless about the fated mate idea, there's no marking, no shifting, no "wolf" type drama. Just some mentions of scents, faster healing, and growling. The story itself is entertaining and enjoyable so still a 4 star for me.

Loved this book from start to finish. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. I like how Declan and Willow keep gravitating to each other and has no idea why until the end. Can’t wait for the next one.

This is the first book in the Southern Werewolves series about our favorite mischief-maker, Declan. Declan is a famous band performer with, Phase. They are very well known and he is also known to stir up trouble among mates…all in fun. Now, it is his turn~ He meets Willow at a party being held in the band’s honor; she is one of the servers. They spend time hanging out with one another, the paparazzi take pictures of them, so he invites her to the awards; actually, he hires her since he cost her a job~ Trouble seems to follow Declan…so when they attend the music awards, the aftermath is messy and dangerous~ Two attacks in twelve hours…who can it be? Is it one of the exes? A deranged fan? Who? Their lives will be put in danger by the one causing the problems…will they make it out alive? Another fun-filled adventure by Heather MacKinnon.

So this book was fun and easy to read. I cloud connect with the characters really fast and the plot was sweet. Can't wait for the next boy to fall.

I couldn’t put this book down…but then again what book of Heather’s can I?!? Declan and Willow took me on a wild ride this week! But oh their “fated mate” story is so loving and inspiring 💜💜
