As a proud Wisconsin resident, of course I have to highly recommend this fun book. It's a succinct guide to the classic tastes, experiences, and places of Wisconsin. There are ideas for food and drink, music and entertainment, sports and recreation, culture and history, and shopping and fashion.

I'm sure many people can name something from a few of these categories such as taking in a Green Bay Packers game while sporting your cheesehead hat and enjoying some cheese curds and brats, but there are many other fun possibilities like attending a Native American powwow, exploring a chilly ice castle, dining at a supper club, or viewing the planes and air shows at the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture.

The helpful tips and fun facts that are mentioned now and then make planning easier and offer information to make your experience just a little bit better. This is also the first of these guides that I've seen that includes a few enticing photos.

I'm a lifelong resident and have done many of these but there's still much to do and I look forward to crossing a few more off my list this summer. Maybe I'll see you around the state!

This book sums up Wisconsin perfectly and is great for those not knowing everything in their home state. I’m a little disappointed that there wasn’t any images on every single page, except for the select few in the middle of the book.

What a fun book!

As a lifelong resident of Wisconsin I enjoyed reading about different things to do around the state. One of things I appreciated about this was this was a list that had a little bit of something for everyone covering subjects such as food and drinks to sports and reaction to culture ensuring that everyone is going to find something hopefully new and exciting they want to further explore in this state!
