When Marian splurges on a Perfect Match Virtual adventure as a world infamous jewel thief, she expects high-wire fun with a hot partner who she will never have to see again in real life.
A virtual encounter seems like the perfect answer to Marcus's string of dating disasters. No strings attached, no drama, and definitely no love. As a die-hard James Bond fan, he chooses as his avatar a dashing MI6 operative, and to complement his adventure, a dangerously seductive partner.
Neither expects to find their forever Perfect Match.
I really enjoyed this book. I always wondered if the characters are immortal, since that was the original purpose of, perfect match. Definitely I good read.
I hated the feminism, urbanism, glorification of promiscuity, & female delusion. Modernity at its worst. Chad doesn’t fall madly in love with older, not-beautiful career women. I realise romance is fantasy, but I found this book depressing & unrealistic, not an enjoyable escape. Maybe Lucas should stick to writing paranormal romance, though even her main series is distressingly & increasingly woke, with too many annoying, unlikeable, unbelievable heroines.
Definitely the weakest book in the Perfect Match series, in my opinion. It feels very obviously targeted towards older career women with mediocre looks who’ve bought into feminist lies and are single, childless & miserable as a result. Outrageous cope & I can’t relate to these foolish women.
The virtual adventure was fun, the best part of the book, but the hero lacked the suave polish of Bond.
I enjoy this series because the perfect match scenarios that the clients meet and engage in are unique and very interesting. I don’t like the repetitiveness in these stories where the individuals at first resist meeting. That changes, but it’s the same expected part in each of the books. The intimate scenes are well done, and overall I find it to be a series that people will enjoy, a good series.
This book was so much fun, and the fantasies described were exceptional and exciting. I like the way the characters developed as the story unfolded.
I love the way I T Lucas writes and she never disappoints me. I highly recommend all of her books. I am on volume 74 of Children of the Gods. I keep thinking I’ll get tired of it, but each volume is better than the last.
Sometimes you just want to be entertained and feel good at the end of a story. Perfect Match gives you all of that and a HEA. I hate a love story that ends in heartbreak (the character’s and mine) - way too depressing. Perfect Match: The Thief Who Loved Me is a perfect match for a great and satisfying read.
This story was a fun read! I became engulfed in their Perfect Match date as a spy and jewel thief. I love happy endings and this one went all they way with a James Bond type wedding. I. T. Lucas you did it again. It was a nice reprieve from the Children of the Gods series, while I wait for the next book in the series.
It's like 2 stories in 1, I adored the initial perfect match adventure which was like living it and how that interaction carried over in to real life for them. Superbly written, flowing and a light, easy read, thoroughly enjoyable!
I had a hard time putting this book down. It drew me in, and what a ride. I have read the other perfect match books, but I don't think it is necessary to read this one. It's a great love story.
I always enjoy her books.this one I read in one sitting. Loved the characters and the adventures they take. Lucas always gives due a great book, can't wait for the next one.
This author will never write fast enough for me! 😂 I'm completely immersed in all of the series; caught up and always waiting for more, more, more. Thank you anyway I.T. Lucas for keeping them moving forward as quickly as you do. Such fun!
Isabella Lucas is an amazingly imaginative author who really knows how to tell a terrific story with interesting characters, exciting storylines, and lots of love. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed.
It took me a bit to realize that this story is a little takeoff from Children of the Gods. Not in the people but the virtual Perfect Match simulation . I liked this story very much. A good deviation from series. A very good stand alone set.
I loved how they went on so many adventures before meeting! I enjoy escaping with the characters of each PM book! I’m not into secret agent Bond type stories but I loved this one!! This is HEA must read!
I like these quick tales that allow you to.explore so many adventures. M y imagination ran wild when I first read of Perfect Mat h. I am glad to see it explored more thoroughly
This book started out differently than the rest in the series. But what a book it was! IT has wa y to keep you on the edge of your seat through the whole book. Absolutely loved it!
Never believed that even the most hardened non believer can fall in love with every character I.T.Lucas . once you read one of her books you are hooked !
It has one of the best spy fighting epochs that I have read, all action from beginning to end. I thoroughly enjoyed this book for Perfect Match. I recommend it.
I loved the whole book and especially the end I’m glad Marcus and Marion found happiness and a baby I was very emotional and could not put the book down
