Loving Your Body: Embracing Your True Beauty in Christ

Rate this book
A recent Focus on the Family poll of women indicated that one of the primary reasons for low self-esteem is a negative body image. Using stories of women who have struggled with a negative body image, explanations backed with research and statistics, and scriptural evidence, the author helps readers understand that they are wonderfully and beautifully made in God's image. Includes study questions for individuals and small groups.

Read this book with my women’s accountability group! I thought it was a beneficial book to center myself back on the beauty that is reflected in Christ; and how to glorify Him through honoring and loving myself! Perfectly and wonderfully made. I thought it could have been more scripture based and thought it was a little repetitive, but overall a good read.

There's some good info in it, interesting info and some hokey info. Overall, it was good to read.
