Miss Sarah leaves her home in search of safety on the other side of the ocean, away from the brother who tried to marry her off for profit. Miles is on board as well, headed home with additions to his hoard on the end of an adventure. Until that adventure becomes Miss Sarah, especially when he has to convince her that the dragon she saw in the sky was only in her imagination. And all he really wants is to take her into the sky with him. ~~ A sweet fantasy romance with the occasional swearing ~~

I love all things books, especially happy romance books. I love writing. I enjoy formatting text, finding book covers, and editing.

And of course, I love reading which is what lead me down this path of writing. Plus these characters pop in my head and I enjoy jotting them down and seeing where they lead me.

I live in Florida but rarely go to the beach, and always wear black. My favorite place to visit is Ireland.

I count on my three cats to bother me while I’m trying to create the words and on the countless gargoyles in my collection to listen carefully when I read aloud. My hot hubby likes to listen in as well.

Dessert!

This short story is a dessert: not as filling as a meal, just sweet and uniquely flavorful. Better yet--I can have this read again! Cannot do that with dessert.

The good people were very good, the bad people were very bad, then goodness won out amid Ms Lisa's talented character and plot development. I am intrigued by the steampunk world we visit and the other worlds mentioned.

Content is suitable for all ages.

Entertaining short story!

Let a new adventure begin! This was a fun and entertaining short story. I enjoyed the steam punk setting and delightful characters. This was a well written and enjoyable fantasy romance!

I really liked how it ended happily. But there's a part that got me thinking. Sarah and Miles just left her beaten-up brother behind, and he's still alive, which means he might want to harm her in the future. However, Miles is a dragon, so it's unlikely her brother can do much.

This was a lovely short read. It had parts of fairy tale, parts of magic and part romance. The pieces all blended into a story that just made you feel good. The kind of story that you reflect on and remember fondly.

A very Georgette Heyerish story!

I loved this story! Very funny and clean. Sarah is not the normal Miss from this time period. That is what reminded me so much of Georgette Heyer(love her books have all of them). Miles is so clueless . This was a fun read!
