Summer Nights by Mel Walker is part of the Summers in Seaside Series. I loved returning to Seaside, Oregon for the annual Seaside Music Festival and catching up with some old friends and meeting some new ones. Outgoing rocker Ariel Tyler and quiet dependable Adam Williams may be complete opposites but there are sparks flying whenever they’re together. If you love drama, angst, secrets, an attention seeker womanizing brother, some sweet moments and of course, a happily ever after this book is right up your alley. I didn’t want to put the book down. I hope I can continue visiting the Seaside music festival for many more years.

One of the things I've loved about the Summers of Seaside Collection is the healing that is done in Seaside (I really need to travel there in person), and Summer Nights has that aspect as well. Ariel is the lead singer in a rock band that has just come off a big tour, and while she wants to do more to make sure they're set, her bandmates are ready for downtime. She comes up with an idea that she's keeping on the downlow, recruiting Adam to play with them in the upcoming Seaside Music Festival but it's not an easy journey & keeping it secret makes for some complications. There's just one really big issue, Adam despises the spotlight, and has some issues with his self confidence. He & his siblings have gone through some things which have left scars so that doesn't make for an easy journey. Ariel & Adam really are perfect for each other as the sparks are flying, but both need to do some healing in order to get a happily ever after but can they do that?! I love Mel Walker's easy writing style, and once again I wanted more pages after finishing Summer Nights in one sitting! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sometimes we need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Ariel and her band just came off a huge tour. Her bandmates are ready to relax and settle down and one is about to do just that. But Ariel looks at the bigger picture to make sure her best friends are always taken care of for life. When she devises a plan she thinks will work she just has to convince her band and Adam the man she wants for the bass position. Adam has a lot happen to him in his life. He, his twin brother, and his sister have known heartache. When Ariel reaches out to him and his brother he thinks it will be the best opportunity. A few problems though, 1-he lives in the shadows, and 2-he is very insecure. But when fate comes knocking who will be the one standing. Sometimes you need a little push and these two will not only push each other to be better, but her band will push her in another direction. Can she handle it?

Nice guys don’t always finish last. Even in his sister’s book, Adam stood out to me, and I knew I needed to know more about his individual story. Ariel was a bright spark on the page of that earlier book who also stood out, but I didn’t quite realize why at the time. This pair has lots of tragic, tortured history fueling their music. My heart ached to discover the details. Adam and Ariel are the perfect balance to one another. She pushes him to be willing to fight for what he wants, while he reminds her that it’s not always about the fight. And now that we’ve seen one more of the siblings paired up, I can’t wait to see what the real story is behind the last brother standing.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

I totally enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure which way any of Ariel’s choices were going to go. Ariel is the lead in a band who has just come off a successful tour. But her band mates are ready to start their own families. Which leads her to “audition” a pair of twins, Adam and Laredo for lead guitar. Adam and Laredo couldn’t be more different. Adam is the responsible one. The one who keeps the rest of the family going. Laredo is the bad boy who acts before he thinks. Choosing between them for not only a lead but for one to take her heart.
I loved Ariel. Her heart is fully encased to protect it. Only the right kind of man will be able to have the patience to win her over.

This was my first read by this author and I did enjoy it.

Ariel and Adam are total opposites…. She is fearless (for a reason) and he is guarded (for a reason) and these two make a great couple! Although their relationship is resting on a sliding scale. (get it – a little music jargon and hoping its correct at that).

Good chemistry between Adam and Ariel, both have some family drama/issues to contend with, both have love to give – if the other person is willing to take it/walls come down. There are, of course, some ups and downs; but that is to be expected.

Can Ariel save her band and her dream? Or will Adam be her dream and save Ariel?

3.5 stars

This is my first visit to the Summers in Seaside series and it was a good one.

I liked the main characters of Ariel and Adam as well as the secondary characters. (and hope for Laredo's story?)

Ariel and Adam seemed meant for each other and their journey to HEA was not always smooth.

This was an easy read despite the characters having some baggage, which they helped each other to offload as the story progressed.

A nice way to spend a summer afternoon.

This was a 4.5⭐️ read

This rockstar opposites attract was a wonderful read and a great end book to the series. Loved meeting new people and revisiting old friends.
Ariel and Adam were perfect together. Opposites definitely attracted in this one.
Drama, angst secrets, and even an annoyingly up himself brother added to this well written read.
Can’t wait till we venture back to the Seaside music festival again.

I was given a complimentary copy but voluntarily chose to review

4.5 Summer Loving Stars!

I have wanted Adam's HEA since visiting the Seaside Music Festival last summer! Ariel is a strong, goal oriented rock star. I love how she brings Adam out of his shell and helps him to do what he truly wants. I enjoyed seeing Laredo helping his brother out and can't wait to see what is ins store for him.

Great summer read, short and sweet!!!

Book 2 in the Seaside series and it is everything I want in a book. Opposites attract a shared passion. Headache and second chances. Adam and Ariel's story had me in all of my feelings from the beginning you could feel the tension and feel the passion of what they both want and need. I love Ariel's loyalty. The ending of the story was everything. Second chances are sometimes needed.

I've read several books written by Mel Walker; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is part of the Summers in Seaside Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Ariel & Adam; she’s the leader of a rock band and hires him to try to keep the band together.

Ariel and Adam are opposites who have great chemistry but are opposites in personality but have music in common.

I loved Adam, although it took me a bit to love Ariel, but they do go well together and balance out each other.

This was another great story in the Seaside Heights romance series.

This rockstar romance of Adam and Ariel had some bumps in the roads. The two main characters are complete opposites but had some chemistry. It is a good short read.

We’re back at Seaside, Oregon. I love this series. The location, the music and the adventure in witnessing love blossom. Adam and Ariel are completely opposite. He is the calm to her storm. While she should be recouping from a huge tour, she decides to collaborate with Adam to create a song for the Seaside Music Festival. What she doesn’t expect is for Adam to go after what he wants, and that’s Ariel. Ariel is surprised when her summer nights with Adam are becoming too tempting to resist.

Wonderful story with fun, love and a HEA you didn’t think would come.
