Nothing and no one seem familiar to him anymore, and the timeless bond between them has been severed...or has it? Can love conquer all? Superman’s 85th anniversary celebration continues with this allnew blockbuster 10-issue series from the creators of the Eisner-nominated Deathstroke series!

An interesting first issue that has me intrigued. Superman being gone 20 years but coming back right away with Lois is great, the JL moments really felt like a team, and I wanna see where we go from here.
I must say, this left me curious and intrigued enough to try the second issue. Loved the way the JL actually worked as a team and weren't arguing much.
It's an intriguing start. Clark thinking he was gone for 20 years (or whatever it was, I read it a few days ago and forgot to update) and no one even knowing he was gone. I look forward to finding out more about where he was, what happened to him, and the impact it had on him. And where he goes from here.
Weird as this is, my favorite part of the issue was definitely Bruce showing up to tell Lois they lost Clark and then him just being in the living room and Bruce trying to nope on out of that situation and Lois not letting him.
I’m let down due to the story being a waste. It was a drawn out prologue, a weak one at that. The art was not great, it was just okay. Read something else, this is a subpar read and art.
This setup feels kind of similar to another one of Christopher Priest's books, his run on Vampirella. Other than that this issue is well written, and I'm intrigued on how it will continue.
