I enjoy all the relationships in the story. I sure was glad to see Taylor’s love triangle end. I highly recommend this series!

Do you know what I loved the most about these books? Everyone was important. The series was about Sam and finding herself, after her tragic marriage, with the support of her family. But, all the players had a story and were important.

It takes a village and the Sweeneys sure made up a village of love, support, mistakes, life lessons and second chances.

I don’t know how I am going to wait until February for the last book in the series. Grant me patience!

Beachy

Love this family and all they have gone through and still going through. The characters pop out of the pages. You can feel the emotions and happiness and frustrations of all the characters. Can't wait to read the last one.

80% was enjoyable

Spoiler Alert

I have read all of the books in this series and they have, for the most part, been a nice light, speedy read. But for the second time, a main character who has to choose between her dream job and a man has chosen to forego the career and prioritize her family. It would have been nice to see one or both characters achieve a balance of both. Felt old- fashioned and out of date.

This has been my least favorite of the series. Don’t get me wrong, it was good! Just a little predictable. I also feel that Sam and Ethan’s relationship is very rushed so I was a little confused on the extent of its progression in this book. I also wish two women in the series didn’t sacrifice their dream jobs for their family, a balance of the two would have been nice to see. But overall, this has been a cute little series and I have enjoyed getting to spend time with the Sweeney family!

This is a really great series . The book is a standalone story focusing on the Sweeney family. It’s a brand new year and a lot has happened since last year including Sam a divorced single woman . Since Lori Caparelli turned up in the previous story Cocoa Beach Bakery with her pregnant daughter Amber she has set up a growing Yoga business on the beach and is doing quite well. So what better for a New Year’s resolution a Cabana behind the hotel to add to the renovations. This Julie hopes she can get running for Mayor with her campaign manager her niece Amber who is more than qualified for the job . The trials and tribulations of this endearing tight knit family are the essence of the story. The one thing that’s true is the love and loyalty. Very well written ,great depth to characters and background stories.

So much is happening in and around Sweeney House... Sam and Ethan find their way back together... Lori's husband shows up in Cocoa Beach... Amber comes clean about the circumstances of her pregnancy, and finds so much support... Julie runs for mayor... This is the sixth installment in the Sweeney family series, and every book is better than the one before. I loved this book, especially Sam's story. The author has woven a realistic and interesting family saga, and reading this book was the highlight of my week. We are back in Cocoa Beach, and the renovations to Sweeney House are nearly finished. Sam and her mother have one more improvement to add to the list, leading to a problem and new opportunities. Will Julie finally commit to staying in one place? Amber comes clean about her pregnancy to her new family, and her father pays her and Lori and surprise visit. I love how the Sweeney family continues to work as a unit to support and solve every challenge presented. I am looking forward to the next visit.

I love the Sweeney House series! This is the 6th book in the series, and it felt fantastic to be back in Cocoa Beach with the Sweeney family. As soon as I open the book, I feel like I am with family.
This is a book that was filled with the strength of women and being there for each other. It will make you smile and tug at your heart.
Cecelia Scott has given the world a series that will be loved by many.

These feel good, Hallmark movie like, books are a guilty passion with me. My only problem is that I end up binging on them, and neglecting some other things I want/need to read. Once I start one of these books, I am involved and want to know what happens next. and then go right from one book to the next. That has been true for not only this Cecelia Scott series, but Maggie Miller, Hope Holloway, Leigh Duncan, and Judith Keim. I really hate that I am going to have to wait 6-7 months to read book 7 in this series.

In this sixth in the series, we get a deeper look at some of the budding relationships from the prior books in the series. We see the bravery and the strength of this family. They are strong women, but they are so much stronger together. An amazing story showing it really does take a village. The book will give you all the feels and you will be cheering on the family members and friends as they travel down roads most of us have been on. Very relatable and a happy read.

I loved this book. It is such an uplifting read. The Sweeney family is very united, sweet and full of strong independant women who become even stronger, better versions of themselves with help from the others. Even when things seem bad, they manage to move on and make the best of things together. I love the atmosphere and optimism in these stories. Excellent, feel good read.

I didn't think it could get more exciting!

Now this is the way to get you ready for the last book of a series. So much is happening and I can't wait to see how it all ends. These characters have become very important to me. I have read the 6 books in 7 days because I couldn't put it down. Book number 7 will bring on many changes and I can't wait to see what they are.Enjoy!

This book continues the story of the Sweeney family. The family grows larger, the roller coaster of emotion has highs and lows, and I loved every page! Read the books in order - although the author does a good job of filling in the gaps for a reader who jumps in with any book, the overall story is too good to miss the entire journey.
