When Leigh Roberts is not caught up in the fantasy world of Etera with Adia, Khon'tor, Acaraho, Oh'Dar, and Nadiwani, she is enjoying the beauty of the rural area in which she lives.
An avid reader since early childhood, she grew up on superhero comics, science fiction stories, and television shows like The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, and Star Trek.
Star Trek had a huge influence on her thinking and taught her the infinite possibilities of imagination--and how to split infinitives. Spoiler alert: you may find a Klingon word or phrase dropped in here or there.
She loves being an author, and her heart's desire is to be writing for a long, long time to come.
I have read all of The Etera Chronicles that Leigh Roberts has written. As soon as I have read a few pages I feel like I am living there with them. That is the way I want a book to engage me. I don't think I know how to write a review, so that is why I haven't written before, but I do know that I am totally happy to live in her books while I am reading and totally sad when I come to the end and can't wait for the next one to come out. I really feel everyone will have those feelings.
From the very beginning until the end of this book, I actually “ felt” the characters. The characters in these series taught me so much. The stories made me “see” a world both different and like ours. I recommend this series but be prepared to journey not only with the characters but with Etera itself. I have completely enjoyed every sentence, chapter, book. Through so many plot twists, surprise characters and beginning and endings I can say this series will stay with me. The soul of the messages within this series is a deeply spiritual one that tests your faith, believing in not only the characters but the author who brought them life and that the paths chosen are where they need to go and be. Thank you to the author (Leigh Roberts) for a journey through an amazing world.
I have read the whole series! It is one of those books where you are constantly trying to figure out what is going to happen next. The characters are like old friends you can really get to know, I am really sad to see this series end.
However I will say this at reading the blurb on the first book, I was intrigued to see how this would come out in this makeshift world. I can say it was very well written and thought out. I do hope Leigh Roberts does do an update in the future. I would love to see how the younger ones do.
The Author who I consider a friend after reading all three series of her books has done an amazing job of weaving a story with unforgettable characters. You will cry, chuckle at the twists and turns, her books bring out every emotion in you. She had " Faith " in her talent and she passed on that " Faith " to the readers in ways that will always be remembered. Start with book one, you won't be able to put it down and ride the dream to the end.
This is such an inspiring revelation of life, love, loss and future on how it takes many aspects and differences in people to prosper to overcome and live the joy of life itself
Having this come to an end is like waiting for the other shoe to drop. Leigh leaves me with interesting concepts. Almost a dream, almost a reality, certainly a prayer. Ill be waiting for a new story by thiis author. I highly recommend this book.
This book out of the entire series is by far the most epic of them all. As I read through the chapters I could feel the faith and tender moments touch my heart. I loved this book. Highly recommended.
As with all the other volumes and series, she ties it up in a neat bow and makes us anticipate what lies ahead. Or, if their are no other volumes gives us enough teasers to draw our own conclusions or write our own ending.
