Falling in love with a baker was the last thing Juliana thought would happen when she moved back home to be closer to her grandpa. Especially because gluten is enemy number one with her celiacs. Dom didn’t expect her to walk into his bakery to pick up the large last minute order. He also didn’t expect her to be his new next-door neighbor. He also didn’t expect to fall head over heels for her so fast. When shit goes down with her family, though, he knows one thing. He will do anything and everything it takes to give her the life she wants. Will life’s challenges keep them apart or will they get their happily ever after?
Pros: Celiac rep (including realistic learning how to bake gluten free treats), had good spice, and the cat was adorable.
Cons: A lot of repetition with using the same words or phrases over and over again. If I took a shot every time a character thought “knowing that” or they groaned then I would be wasted by the first chapter.
