dark stories series with assassins, crime and romance…
Dark tales of assassins, crime, and romance in this series.
Seven had been away 6 months, and now he’s back to see Onyx. They need each other and SEVEN stays.
Seven, scars, tattoos, and a mask (cover) , came back, but he hadn’t known Archer knew where he was, he was tracked.
Onyx, owns his tattoo shop, loved Seven and hates worrying.
Seven must leave and takes Onyx along. Maybe this time he can disappear for good with his man.
The guys talk, have hot sexy times, are vers, and we know their love is forever.
These tales are gritty, gripping and grim at times.
I recommend this series.

I’m sorry. I wish I could give a better rating but I can’t.
This was just messy writing and a rushed story.
I somewhat liked this first book, plus I liked seven, so I decided to give it a try. Even so, to my surprise and disappointment, this book felt even more rushed.
Pointers:
1. I can’t connect with the characters if I feel like I am running. Within the first 10 lines (euphemism) both MC’s had declared their love, lived together and got engaged. Like I didn’t even know Onyx’s age or last name. How am I meant to care for characters that I’ve known for 3 seconds??? I can’t.
2. Archer made 000000 sense. He is a killer/mobster we know nothing about, he wanted to punish seven, but only for 2 days, then he actually wanted seven back on line (even though he never really left said line) and he commanded they be together again and forever to keep seven’s sanity intact and then he disappeared l????? I’m just jumping. I feel like I’m out here running a marathon on how fast the pace of this book was set. I barely had time to breathe let alone enjoy the ride lol
3. If I had to take a shot every-time the author wrote the character’s name without needing I’d be drunk by page 3. In one phrase they manage to write 5 times sevens or onyx’s name. I understand double narratives are harder but if you can’t write them properly please just stick to the single POV.
4. This feels like trauma dump. Where the author writes a tragic backstory and gives a personality based on it. But then the trauma miraculously stops due to the power of love on page 20.
Don’t make trauma based characters if you’re gonna disrespect the pain that abuse brings. Cause mister killer/ lie detector machine/ “psychopath” got over every trauma without even mentioning it in the book.
Overall: unpleasant experience, rapid fire book, rushed AF, trauma dump with no real foundation, badly written.
Mister/Miss writer, you have the potential to do better , the story’s are interesting, the characters as well, but if you don’t develop then you’re writing children’s books with a mature rating.
Write more profoundly on your characters.

Questo è il secondo libro della serie "Demaged Evils", che vede come protagonisti dei mafiosi, assassini e sociopatici. Possono essere letti come standalone.
Seven è un killer psicopatico che lavora duramente per liberare l'umanità da persone riprovevoli. Ogni volta che commette un omicidio, si fa tatuare da Onyx una striscia sulla schiena.
Sebbene la relazione tra Onyx e Seven sia basata sul sesso da oltre 6 anni, entrambi provano di più di una semplice attrazione. Da un lato c'è il sentirsi finalmente normale, mentre dall'altro c'è il fascino di curiosare dentro la mente d'altro.
Nonostante le forti emozioni che provano l'uno per l'altro, devono ancora conoscersi davvero e capire cosa si nasconde dietro quei lunghi viaggi e quelle assenze di Seven, lontano dal suo amato. In ogni parola si legge però l'amore per l'altra persona, rendendo il romanzo dolcissimo e super scorrevole. Ma ricordatevi che si tratta comunque di un dark e le sorprese sono sempre in agguato 🤭.
Aspettatevi una relazione inusuale, complicata, ma piena di sentimenti inarrestabili. Ho bisogno di personaggi come Seven, un po' pazzi ma di buon cuore e di quelli come Onyx, tenerissimi e comprensivi, per essere davvero felice. Sono semplicemente il mix perfetto, un fortissimo run e cola che ti stende finito di berlo.
È un romanzo di poche pagine, che si leggono velocemente, ma non ha nulla da togliere a un libro più voluminoso.
Non vedo l'ora di leggere la storia tra il temibile Archer e Angel 🥰.

He broke free a long time ago and so works for himself and uses his skills on his own terms but he has issues around his sanity. He is a shadow and a nightmare but he can't shake one guy. Seven slips in and out of his life and it drives Onyx crazy. He wants to hate him but can't and just when they make some headway to having a real relationship Seven's secrets crash down on them. Onyx has to decide whether he can believe the worst or follow his heart. Either way seems equally doomed.
I enjoyed this story around all of the emotions of both Onyx and Seven (as it appears that Onyx can make Seven mostly sane). I loved the way that Onyx tried to stand up for himself but obviously loved Seven too much to give him up. This was a rollercoaster to read but was passionate and really made you want these two men to have the HEA they justly deserved. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Ok, I gotta say Seven is freaking adorable, a true demon angel. Onyx feels a little underprepared to handle the bundle that is Seven, but here we are. They chose eachother. I liked the complexity in this story.
The assassin hiding his identity and the tattoo artist with all the feelings.
Far fetched and a tangled mess, that is how this story goes. Lies and omittions come back to bite in the arse.
And jeez....Onyx never saw anything coming but it's painful to watch how bad he handles things. Poor Seven should have just dumped him.🙃😁
This is another story that would have been so much better as a longer book. It has so much potential to expand. But it was a good quick read.

Seven and Onyx
Oh Seven, you beautiful human being. Seven might be one of the more unique MCs I’ve come across recently. He seemed to be all sunshine and roses one minute, but vengeance and death the next. The mixture was fascinating.
Onyx was an interesting choice for him. He seemed to complement Seven nicely. I’m still waiting to see how Archer becomes redeemable in any way. This series is shaping up to be very interesting. So far I’ve enjoyed the first two very much and am looking forward to the next.

Onyx is Sevens tattoo artist. He doesn't understand Seven, but becomes very interested in him. They become more involved, then someone tries to use Onyx to blackmail Seven into a job. Loved the storyline, the characters, dark, twisted, angst, steamy sex, humor and a HEA.
This is the second book in the series. Both fabulous. The third one comes out very soon...
Can't wait.

Seven and Onyx
Seven was raised to be a killer and thought he didn't have a soul. Onyx was in love with Seven since he first walked into his tattoo shop.. There was some good old love and times when you thought they would never make it together. But Onyx was the only one to smooth Sevens heart and chased his nightmares away.

Seven was as fun as I anticipated. But also, this book was weirdly tame? And the climax (much like the last book) was pretty anticlimactic? Dunno. Guess I expect my dark stories a little darker. Still, it was a fun couple of hours spent.
