Rate this book
Would you want a better life? Evie did. Her life, body and soul were hanging by a thread. Nothing had turned out as she had imagined when she was younger.

When a stranger, who she quickly dismissed as a crackpot, asked her if she wanted more from her life? It all changed.

What started of well, and like a dream soon changed, and the nightmare began.
Yet, before the good comes the bad. Where her life would go now was anyone's guess.

Fated mates ripped apart before they even met. Could both survive to fulfil the Goddess's wish?
In a land of folklore, fairy tales, and magic, could they survive? Would both have the power of the God’s to get them through? Because their journey would be alone.

D'aire and Eve
Once again Josephine Wrightson has managed to convince me of her quality and work as an author.
The book D'aire was exciting, captivating and very intriguing from the beginning to the end of the book.
The plot is set in a magical world for the most part. The hero D'aire, a strong dragon shifter of black blood and Eve, an older heroine and broken by fate, have to cope with adverse events in this magical world. As the story progresses, each character develops their strengths. And then there are Alessio and his fascinating sister and many other great heroes.
The story completely swept me along as a reader. This book has spicy and also dark scenes and is meant for older readers (18+).
I can also recommend this book to any reader who is enthusiastic about magical worlds. Heart pounding and HEA is guaranteed. I also hope to learn more of this world as a story as there are some intriguing secondary characters.

This is my first book by Josephine Wrightson. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by what a well written storyline she has made between the dragon and human world.. I really liked Evie and D'Aire story . It was very well written , with good chemistry between her and D" Aire's. I am very sad, however, to see it end. I hope to see more of her books in the very near future. I would highly recommend it if you like dragons, magic, and the world to take a look at this beautiful story between Evie and D' Aire.

Thank you, Josephine Wrightson

What and AMAZING read!!!!

This masterpiece has everything that will keep you on the edge of your seats and craving more. Dragon brothers, and a mate Evie. Evie wanting something so much more than she already has finds herself in this beautifully structured fantasy. I won’t spoil anything for your readers, but I highly recommend this instalment. It’s so worth the read. I’m very happy to give this 5 very shiny stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Can’t wait to read more from this very talented author.

With promise of a better life, Evie agrees to sign a contract promising just that. But not everything is as good as it seems, especially when you do not know the details.
I’ve read other books by JW and this story takes us in a bit of a new direction. There are some interesting additions with characters and plot, keeping her work fresh. Allow yourself to get lost in this dark fantasy horror that will keep you turning those pages!

A great love story

A good read with a storyline that had me gripped from the start.
My only complaint is I felt it ended rather abruptly, but I'm hoping this means they'll be more stories from this world.
It was great to have Evie as the FMC, a strong older woman who isn't afraid to step up and speak her mind. Made a great change from teenage girls!

Ahhh! A fascinating book. It starts out with four women who had all experienced different types of losses. Alessio knew that these four were special, especially Evie, and after they signed their contracts, he and the women set out on an extraordinary journey. The other women had all felt that Evie, the oldest, was their unspoken leader. They go through some horrific experiences along the way as they are introduced to the fantasy world of shifters, where men transform into dragons. There were very few females of dragon blood for D'Aire to mate with, so his mother, the high priestess, was trying to find mates for D'Aire and his brothers. D'Aire and Evie's love took many twists and turns, and I was all in. I highly recommend it.

Engrossing read!
At one time Evie was happy with her life then suddenly everything changed.
When she meets a strange man in the street—Alessio—his question—Don’t you want more from your life? — she remembers from somewhere so with nothing to lose she accepts his offer of a better life.
The following morning, she is whisked away, not knowing her destination, along with three other women Gillian, Cate, and Kay.
To where? You will need to read this book to find out.
D’AIRE is a dark fantasy with dragon shifters and a world of magic. The story keeps you enthralled from beginning to end. It is well-written with a great storyline and well-developed characters.
If you like a dark fantasy book, then I can definitely recommend this.

This was an interesting read, there was a lot going on, and There were some parts that added no value to the story but weren’t drawn out. It read smoothly and was fast paced, with plenty of action leaving you hanging on to your pants with what could be round the corner. I would have liked to see more interaction between the main characters after the rescue but it’s a great leader into the next book.

I had such a great time reading this (and I love the cover as well). D'aire is a Dragon shape shifter, and this a story of him and his Mate. D'aire is one of my favourite characters. As always I loved the other character in the story too D'aire's brother Jared and the women who are meant for them. I need more from this world soon please!

A ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐REVIEW

D'aire - Josephine Wrightson Author

Evie meets a stranger who asks her if she wants more than the life she has. To most sensible women such a question would cause suspicion, but she decides her life is going nowhere and takes the bait. Gillian, Cate and Kay join her – also selected but no one seems to know what the new adventure will lead to. Each human woman has a different personality, but
Evie is the strongest. On the journey they are pursued and captured. Elsewhere in the new world D'aire a black-blooded dragon shifter and the alpha of his group of dragon shifters is attempting to rescue his brother. Two other shifters are with him and if they don’t exactly understand the women are their fated mates, they soon find out. Evie is for D’aire so much of the page-turning books is about them and their struggles to get together as mates. It’s a great fantasy world filled with romance and magic – an adventure to a satisfying HEA.

This most recent book by Josephine Wrightson is one I couldn't put down until I finished reading it--that's how good it is. The author tells the story of four women who are chosen to be mates of dragon shifters, without the women's knowledge when they being their journey. They simply believe they are bettering their lives. The book shifts between the women, who survive untold dangers, and the dragons for whom the women were chosen to be their mates, who are searching for the women. The two main dragons and the women chosen for them, D'aire and his brother Jared, and Evie, a common sense woman, and Kay, who is shy and withdrawn, are featured throughout the book. Their angst is palpable and keeps the reader engrossed until the very end of the book. I highly recommend D'aire as an exciting, paranormal, romantic escape filled with adventure and the love between fated mates. I was gifted an advance copy in return for my honest review.

This is a well-written and captivating dark fantasy set in a world of dragon shifters. We follow the journey of four women from our world who are swept into a perilous journey in a fantasy land where they are completely unsuspecting about their roles in the lives of dragon shifters. An enjoyable read and I definitely want to know what happens next, especially to Evie as we are left with a bit of a cliffhanger.

Another great one by the amazing Josephine Wrightson. Is your life what you want it to be? Could it be better? D'Aire wonders? Then comes a day when she thinks maybe, hopefully? Her life changes in a way she would never have dreamed of. Written from the heart as are all Of Josephine's books. The silver lining that makes our dreams come true, yet it never really tells us for sure. D'Aire has to experience, dream, and hope day by day. Could this be forever, or will it just be another dream? Could this be forever, or will it just be another dream? Grab your copy today for a page-turning read.

I loved the book. The characters were strong and interesting. I love all things about Dragons and this book doesn’t disappoint.
Evie and D’aire both are strong and independent but blend well together. Their love for each other and the people they care about is absolute.
